EB Pirates! - Episode 1, Green Hair and the Yellow Thief

Recommended Posts

This is a great comic Mr. Tiber! ( And a long one that is )

I really liked Captain Greenhairs dad, it's sad he died though :'-(

I tried to call 0800-Tiber but noone picked up? Is this a joke or something?

*y*

That was very amusing! The odd advert in the middle of it all made me laugh!

Keep up the good work. *y*

Ugh those commercial breaks! As if tv wasn't bad enough they've invaded our comics! I would ask for Miss Bikini 1728's phonenumber but I imagine that wench isn't looking too healthy anymore... :-X

That must have been a lot of hard work guys, how many hours do you recon went into it?

Mr. Tiber,

Thanks! But please remind Captain Green Hair and I had an equal share in this comic.

Very nice! Great ship, island scenery, a good solid plot with plenty of action, and a bikini babe. All around winner there! *y*

I'd only make one adjustment, and while it's an easy one, it makes a pretty dramatic difference. The font/script/speech balloons could use a bit of refining. A bigger font, a little bit of editing into more standardized English, better looking balloons. Get that part of it perfected, and you've got the whole thing down.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the continued exploits of our young and upcoming new Captain and congratulate you both on a job well done!

OH! And I loved the islander translations! ;-)

Isn't what they've done here technically called "product placement" whereby they advertise a product by including in the story, whether it be prominent or incident. In this instance it's obviously very prominent.

I must say that I loved it. The ads part was pure genius, miss bikini 1728. HA!

I also adore the word muscle shine. Makes me think of Jean-Claude van Damme or Arnold Schwarzenegger all rubbed in vaseline. 8-

I really liked the comic, but I noticed one thing. After the battle where the pirate on the rope said "wait!", there was no symbol on the back part, but at the end of the comic, the blank symbol was replaced with a red one with white X's. What's up with that?

Funny comic! :-D The commercial break was ingenious! I don't think MicVash needs one of those though. X-D Poor Green Hair... 8-| I really like the Hairy Shark scene! I laughed when I saw the soldier swimming for his dear life!

I think the second from last picture explains that...?

Thanks for all the nice words guys! *y*

The next part will have better text balloons! *sweet*
