  1. Rockwail School of Orphans Rockwail has seen the passing of many kings and rulers, each leaving their own mark in history and on the city. Not all that long ago, relatively speaking at least, the iron fist rule of king Zoroaster took a particularly heavy toll on the residents of Rockwail. Many lives were lost due to his warmongering and exploitation of miners and labor slaves. As a consequence, the amount of orphans peaked during this period. When Theophraster I, Zoroaster's half-brother, claimed the throne, he sought to repair some of the damage Zoroaster had done. He believed orphans were a key to turn the ravaged economy around, so he built an orphanage and established an education program. His efforts bore fruit, for him and the city. His apparent philanthropy earned him the respect and support from the scarred people of Rockwail, and the word also spread beyond the city. In rough and tough Nocturnus, these 'soft' policies were looked down on by some of the greater Lords, but merchants and craftsmen flocked to the city! Later, despite dwindling numbers of orphans because of peaceful times, Theophraster II continued to invest in the future of the disadvantaged, by founding the Rockwail School of Orphans. The School of Orphans is not as big as it used to be at some point, but one of its most prominent and remarkable buildings is still in use today, and is maintained with funds from the royal treasury. And somehow, it's the place Exetrius Centario of Zotharith found himself in... He looked up from his reading material and gazed at the window. He put his book away for a moment and stood up to overlook the square of the Four Virtues. It appeared peaceful, a little quieter during daytime than Zotharith. The sudden thought of home, so far away, made his mind wander between the turns his life had taken ever since the Civil War, the places he visited and the people he met. Before the war, he was just a mage trying to climb the ranks. Okay, maybe not your average mage, but the second son of the wizard ruler, Onicius. Sometimes, he was sent out for a task by the Order of Zotharith, but generally he was around his home city a lot. Once, he traveled to Kyrrath to visit his aunt. That was the furthest he had ever been. His elder brother, on the other hand... Anyway, during the Nocturnus Civil War he joined the 1st Corps of Zotharith, which was hunting down Raavage through the Rakath mountains, and he eventually ended up defeating him. But if that wasn't hard to believe enough, he also got to attend the victory party in Cedrica, with Queen Ylspeth! As well as the legendary Warlords, with some of whom he discussed the future of Nocturnus, in Merodaquinas. No big deal, right? It was hard to fathom. After the storm of events, he returned to Zotharith. Luckily, he found his father, mother and sister (who served in the 2nd Corps) in good health. Furthermore, the city seemed to be completely unharmed by the war. It seemed like he would be easing into his old and familiar life again, until a letter from Rockwail came. It was a personal request from King Yurdtroth, the city's new ruler (since Raavage's occupation ended), adressed to Onicius Centario. He was looking for someone to fill the position of Wizard of Rockwail, as well as an ambassador for Zotharith, and had heard of Exetrius' hand in the victory against the Black Spire. Exetrius and his farther agreed that this could be a fantastic opportunity, thus they accepted the request. And so, within a month or two of being home again, he left for Rockwail indefinitely. From the letter, it was not fully clear what the position would entail, but that was a risk he was willing to take. Upon arrival, he met with King Yurdtroth. He was not as intimidating as he imagined, on the contrary actually. He soon learned that one of his tasks would be to teach magic at the Rockwail School of Orphans. Of all things, teaching children was somewhat daunting to him, and something he hadn't anticipated. On his first day, the stairs he had to climb to get to the oddly placed school building seemed to never end. An old wizard dressed in blue, which turned out to be the retiring Wizard of Rockwail, welcomed him. "Don't worry, it'll be fun", he said with a smirk. With the old fart's perception was nothing wrong, that much was clear... The earth sciences teacher, named Ruppert, asked him to come into the class. Still nervous, Exetrius climbed out of the study room. A little awkwardly, he introduced himself to the three kids in class. But soon, he found himself wondering why he had been worrying at all. The kids were very interested and asked him lots of questions. This wasn't so bad at all! ---- Later than planned, but here is the full build! Mine entrance part here. Figuring out the layout of this build, with the mine entrance, school and blacksmith was a fun puzzle, and I enjoyed putting my limited number of purple, magenta and pink bricks to good use. I'm also glad to be able to give an update about Exetrius. While writing the recap it became clear just how few and far between his backstory is. I don't blame you for never getting into the Exetrius Saga if you haven't. It's a mess, though it has good parts that still hold up, imo. Anway, if you read the recap, click the links and look at the images, that should give you a decent idea of Exetrius. Hope you enjoy!
  2. Silvaridis, the forest wizard home was build for the Summer Joust 2022 Gradients category. I only used green colors, teal and black, white and clear for this build as was mentioned in the category for Summer Joust 2022. It was difficult managing to make a minifig with this limited colour but I really like the wizard I came up with. Silvaridis, the forest wizard home by Ids de Jong, on Flickr

    [CatC] StoryQuest

Hello! This is my contest entry for Category B: Minifigure Lineup. Description: “For centuries, the Order of Bookkeepers kept watch over a library of thousands of ancient books containing stories and legends from kingdoms all over the world. However, many of these books disappeared throughout the ages, and their contents have been lost to history. Asimov, the last remaining Bookkeeper, sends his lone pupil Christie out into a fantastical land of magic and mystery to seek out the lost tomes and restore their knowledge to the world. Christie will brave daring challenges and make surprising allies on her quest to rebuild the library, perhaps creating a few stories of her own along the way.” Each set contains at least one “tome,” a unique book associated with a character or location in that set; they can all be collected and stored in the mid-tier set “Asimov’s Library.” This theme was inspired by my love for reading fantasy stories as a child, and designed to be less focused on conflict than other LEGO themes and more focused on exploration and discovery. Minifigures: Christie When she isn’t falling asleep during one of Asimov’s endless lectures, Christie can typically be found nestled deep in his library with a book in hand, dreaming of going on some fantastical adventure beyond the walls of her quiet town. She’s nervous about embarking on her first quest, but excited for the chance to finally live out her fantasies. Brontë As the self-proclaimed queen of the spiders, Brontë is used to getting singled out as the “bad guy” even if she doesn’t mean anyone any harm. Living in a spooky forest probably doesn’t help, but hopefully someone will come along who’s able to look past her frightening exterior. Shelley Shelley will tell anyone who asks that she dreams of becoming a famous pirate one day, but for now she’s content adventuring with Christie to seek out “tomes” or whatever they’re looking for. She wasn’t paying a lot of attention during the mission briefing, honestly. Joyce Joyce is a mischievous but kind-hearted fairy who loves playing pranks on unsuspecting adventurers. Her favorite pastime is spreading rumors about the “fierce dragon” that guards a vast hoard of treasure in the Shimmering Glade, neglecting to mention that it’s a loyal pet of hers who wouldn’t harm a fly. Asimov As the last of the Bookkeepers, Asimov wishes more people would share his passion for learning and worries that all of his work will soon be forgotten. Still, he’s proud of how far his pupil has come and confident that she’ll succeed on her journey. The Librarian’s Ghost The ghost has spent years haunting the castle where he once served as a Royal Bookkeeper, hoping that someone will come along and find the tome he devoted decades of his life to writing. Doyle Doyle’s fear of heights make his profession as an airship captain’s first mate rather questionable, but his fierce loyalty makes him a valuable ally even when he’s scared out of his wits. Captain Hemingway The honorable Captain Hemingway has spent most of his life navigating the Seven Skies in his airship, carrying intrepid adventurers on countless voyages to distant lands around the world. Set List: Spider Queen's Lair- $15 Contains Christie, Brontë, and the Tome of Shadows A black tree with spider-like roots and a hidden compartment for the tome Guardian of Light- $30 Contains Joyce, Shelley, and the Tome of Light A golden dragon with a small pile of treasure containing the tome Asimov’s Library- $40 Contains Christie, Asimov and the Tome of Tomes A book that opens up to reveal a library with a sliding ladder rows of shelves for the tomes Airship Adventure- $70 Contains Shelley, Doyle, Captain Hemingway and the Tome of Quests An airship with a hidden library in the captain’s cabin Crypt of the Bookkeeper- $100 Contains Christie, Shelley, Joyce, Brontë, the Librarian’s Ghost and the Tome of Heroes Stone remains of an ancient castle with a bell tower, a collapsing bridge, and a fireplace that swivels around to reveal the tome Thanks for reading!
  4. At Majisto's academy of advanced magic, the students learn about portal magic for the first time. Apparently they forgot the rule about making one in the ceiling directly above them and then one on the floor where they were standing... - Inspiration for this build, if not clear is the Portal game of course, where you create portals to solve the levels in the game. - Build for the Summer Joust 2022 12x12 vignette category. [MOC] Wizard's Tower

The interesting geometrical shapes of Broadway Tower in Worcestershire, UK inspired us to this MOC, which consists of approximately 35.000 elements. Made together with Ulf Andersen The layout is inhabited by minifigures and creatures from the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings universes. The MOC is illuminated by 52 LEDs from Light My Bricks.
  6. A new LEGO custom minifigure that I have included into my collection. I am glad to show you the Kaligula. Kaligula was the Governor of one of the Northern Lands. He did not bring anything good to his lands during his reign that was cruel – reprisals, vice and immorality. He wrote himself into the bloodiest pages of the Lego Custom Undead World. Dark Forces quickly noticed a Tyrant carried away by Dark Magic and lured him to the Dark Side. Kaligula accepted the primacy of Darkness, quickly and brutally cracked down on the new ruler who took his place and continued his atrocities in his native lands in the form of the Terrible Dark Magician. No one else wanted to fight for power any more because he knew that he would be instantly destroyed by Kaligula who fiercely did not tolerate any rivals and always crack down on with them quickly and brutally, only feeling a threat to himself. The lands lost their Governor and faith in a bright future for a long time. Kaligula became a shadow overseer of his lands and the Army of Darkness got into its ranks another strong Magician controlling the part of the territory of the Kingdom. 8. It had tried Majisto's patience for months, the attitude of the young wizard recently taken under the protection of the Black Knights. The new mage was constantly boasting to any tavern wench or random farm hand about how he could summon an army of demons from an unnamed void that would be stronger than any dragon the Dragon Masters could raise. Well, it was time to teach this kid a lesson--for the soul of a dragon set loose in its pure form of fire and rage is a very nasty opponent and Majisto had figured out long ago how to bind many of them to a specially enchanted lantern... My entry for the CCC XIX "Battle" category. More pics in the Album. C&C Appreciated!
  9. Welcome, Friends! I am glad to present you my new handmade work – Guldan LEGO custom minifigure. Having grown up weak and sick, the sickly orc Gul'dan, once expelled from his native clan, will return later to wipe it off the face of the earth forever. Being rejected by the Spirits of the majestic remains – the Throne of the Elements, Guldan will hear a mysterious whisper which will later change the balance not only on Draenor but also far beyond its borders. It will make Guldan the most powerful orc warlock who will receive the immense power of fel magic and almost unlimited power overall in exchange for eternal service to the forces of Darkness. LEGO does not officially produce Lego Warcraft sets. But Lego series have Orcs, Trolls, Goblins, Dwarves, Elves and other fantasy characters. And LEGO fans have a fantasy. Therefore, Lego Warcraft fans have already been making Lego Customs on Warcraft for a long time. World of Warcraft is an amazing fantasy universe which is older than a lot of its fans. «Guldan», «fel magic» – everyone knows these words, even those who do not play computer games and those who are not interested in Fantasy themes. Warcraft is the universe for all time. Many years have passed since its inception, but the fans have not gone. Warcraft, without any doubt, is one of the pillars of fantasy worlds and deserves respect. I wanted to join this world once again by creating my own Guldan LEGO custom minifigure Guldan belongs to Shamans in the Lego Custom Undead Universe. 11. Greetings Muggles! As you may know, one of my all-time favorite themes is Harry Potter and this year marks the 20th anniversary of the theme! What I love about LEGO Harry Potter is all the many adventures you can create/recreate with Harry & friends, especially inside the iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. So to celebrate 20 years of magic as part of the LEGO Ideas contest, I built a Hogwarts castle in the shape of a big number 20 comprised of 20 vignettes of the most memorable scenes from across the series with several extra creatures and characters flying around it! From the back, it just looks like a big, oddly shaped castle. I put as much detail into every room as possible. In some cases, this is hard to see because of all the figs in the scenes, so here is a shot of the interior without the characters so that you can see all the background details better. In the middle between the two "numbers" is a plaque that reads "20 Years of LEGO Harry Potter" and a boat with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid arriving at Hogwarts for the first time, featuring the appearance that they had back when the theme premiered all those years ago. It's a very nostalgic image for me. Let's take a closer look at all the vignettes in chronological order of the events. The Great Hall at the lower end of the 2 represents the Sorting Hat scene after Harry first arrived at Hogwarts. Wingardium Leviosa! Here we have the trio's first charms class where Hermione shows the others how to perform the levitation spell correctly to Harry's amazement and Ron's frustration. Meanwhile, Nearly-headless Nick phases through a bookcase nearby and Crookshanks chases Scabbers around. This is where Hermione gets attacked by a troll in the bathroom during Halloween where she went to cry after Ron's hurtful words, but is saved by the two boys. Next is Harry's first Christmas at Hogwarts where he gets his invisibility cloak when opening his presents in the Gryffindor common room. Ron watches on in delight while munching on some every flavor beans and chocolate frogs. Here is the trio's encounter with Fluffy on their way to prevent the Philosopher's Stone from getting stolen. Qhirrell's harp stands in the back where it was just playing until a moment ago. Harry makes it to the Mirror of Erised to confront Quirrell who reveals the dark lord hiding under his turban. One of the things flying around the castle is Mr. Weasley's flying Ford Anglia which Harry and Ron used to get to the school in their second year. The design of the car is mix of all the official designs that have been released over the years. It has the tail lights, hood and wheels of the latest version, but the headlights and grill of the first one with a few minor modifications. Another extra scene is part of a Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin where Harry snatches the snitch from in front of Draco Malfoy. The first Chamber of Secrets vignette shows Hermione brewing the plolyjuice potion in the girls bathroom, much to Moaning Myrtle's dismay. Having taken the potion and turned into Crabbe and Goyle, Harry and Ron go to the Slytherin common room to find out if it was Malfoy who opened the Chamber of Secrets. Here is the Chamber of Secrets itself where Harry tries to save Ginny from Tom Riddle and the basilisk using the sword of Gryffindor. "Master has given Dobby a sock! Dobby is free!" In Harry's third year, he starts taking divination class with Prof. Trelawney. Ron tries to make sense of his tea leaves while Trelawney comes over to read Harry's. A tarot card of the lightning-struck tower ominously lays on the table before him. He also takes Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Prof. Lupin this year. Here, Lupin shows Neville how to defeat a boggart by turning it into Snape wearing his grandmother's clothes. I also included a secret bonus scene hidden in the base of the castle. If you remove one of the rocks, you can see Harry walking down the secret passageway under the school leading to Hogsmeade using the Marauders Map. In Harry's fourth year, they get visitors from other schools for the Triwizard Tournament and have a yule ball. Harry is dancing with Parvati while Ron is jealously watching Hermione "fraternizing with the enemy". If you look above the castle, you can see Harry during his first Triwizard challenge where he has to steal an egg from a dragon. After the tournament ends in tragedy, Alastair Moody reveals his true self to Harry in the privacy of his office. In Harry's fifth year, Dolores Umbridge takes over the school and forces Harry to write "I must not tell lies" using a special, cruel quill during detention in her office. In response to the ministry's meddling, Harry forms Dumbledore's Army and teaches the other students defense against the dark arts, including how to produce a patronus. Here is Harry trying to brew a potion in potions class under the watchful eye of the self-proclaimed Half-Blood Prince himself, Prof. Snape. In Harry's sixth year, Dumbledore finally clues Harry in on his plans to defeat Lord Voldemort and shows him his memories of a young Tom Riddle. Harry attends Prof. Slughorn's Slug Club meetings along with Hermione, Neville, and Ginny in order to retrieve a crucial memory from the potions teacher. Finally, here we see Harry facing off against Voldemort for the last time in what would have been Harry's seventh year at Hogwarts. There are paintings of witches and wizards lining the walls of the staircase including Newt Scamander, Seraphina Picquery, and James & Lily Potter. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the stairs, Mrs. Weasley fights Bellatrix Lestrange. "Not my daughter, you brick!" Thanks for looking through this lengthy thread. What do you think and which scene is your favorite?
  12. Lego Halloween – Custom Minifigure Welcome, friends! My new Lego Custom Minifigure – Hallow, a Sealed Mystic from my Lego Custom Undead Universe. I would say it better suits for Lego Halloween Theme. Thanks to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego customs. Lego Halloween is certainly an interesting topic for lovers of tickling their nerves – inhabitants buried under gravestones, bats, ghosts and transparent cubes. And certainly an indispensable attribute of the holiday and traditional decoration is a pumpkin lamp. Let's say «thank you» to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego custom minifigures. The holiday is firmly associated with supernatural. Rituals, horror stories, legends about ancestors, children wearing role-playing costumes with pumpkin lamps, and certainly clubs and Halloween parties for adults)) Super Holiday! The roots of the holiday go back to the tradition of the ancient Celts of Ireland and Scotland which is interesting in itself. We need to say a separate «thank you» to Halloween for Halloween's attributes that make this Holiday so atmospheric! Have a look at my Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure. I hope you will like it! The Lego Halloween custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel – Here. I've already customized more than 300 lego minifigures from the Lego Dark Fantesy Direction and the skeletons of the Army of Darkness. If you like my works, feel free to subscribe to follow me! 13. Are you prepared for a battle to come??? Friends, let me introduce you my new Lego Custom Minifigure – a Two Headed Ogre, let us call him Cho'gall. We can meet two-headed characters in many fantasy worlds but it is WARCRAFT that is the first that comes to mind when we talk about Two-Headed Ogre. One of the most famous and powerful of the Horde's Ogre Magi is a Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall. Driven by the lust of power and thrill of destruction, Cho'gall is a terrifying force on the battlefield, someone who can start and end a fight all on his own ... but only if both heads work together. Born in the capital of Gorian Empire a Two-Headed Ogre Cho'gall was tuted by the most talented ogre sorcerers. Feeling a threat, aristocracy tried to kill him but he was able to escape and had to flee from the city. As Cho'gall searched the world for knowledge and weapons he came across Guldan, orc warlock. Two Headed Orge Cho'gall became one of the most powerful and respected members of the Old Horde during the First and Second Wars against the humans. This is a great story which made me add Two Headed Ogre into my Lego Custom Undead Universe. Two Headed Ogre custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel – Here. Latest Lego Minifigures I customized – Soul Taker and Baba Yaga.
  14. My new custom lego minifigure – Soul Taker. Soul Eater is found in cult games and pearls of modern fantasy worlds such as Diablo, Skyrim, Dragon Age, Warcraft, Lineage and many others. Lasting the uncountable millennia, calming down, again inflaming in the new worlds, eternal war of forces of Light and Darkness, Angels and Demons, the Order and Chaos leads to emergence of the opponents much surpassing ordinary soldiers on both parties. Certainly, one of such generations of forces of Darkness is Soul Taker. Ordinary people are not lucky to live in the middle of this war in a hearth of never-ending battle. In attempts to survive or for the sake of finding of power some of them sign the contract with Darkness forces and come over to the side of the Evil, having started practicing dark magic. In a fantasy Universe of Lego Custom Undead Soul Taker comes to the world of living by killing his reviver – the Dark Wizard. Having taken control of the book of Soul Eater and also several artifacts which the Dark Wizard collected during the wanderings and search, Soul Eater begins the way in the world of the living with one purpose – to make this world the dead. Clever, cunning and artful, Soul Eater mastered a way allowing to release the opponent's soul and then to absorb her. It is difficult to stop Soul Eater who aimed at the enemy. Having chosen the victim, he promptly starts the feast. With his spells he practically immobilizes the victim, causes it severe physical and intolerable emotional pain. And then, when the victim is weakened, he takes away her soul, fills up the magic force and comes back to catacombs to continue his magic rituals. The Soul Taker custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel.
  15. As I marched north of Qarkyr, Rhalyf wrote after the ordeal was over, the wind obstructed my path. The beginnings of a sand storm hit with no warning. Before I could find shelter, the road was obstructed from me. Within a matter of minutes, I was off my path and into the Parched Lands, Rhalyf continued. Just as unexpectedly as it started, the storm subsided, leaving me bewildered but well. I made my way north, intending on finding the road without delay, but the hills and the sand guided me ever so westward. I was obliged to this direction. I soon saw I was not ambling aimlessly, but rather a stone dais lay before me. I knew avoiding this henge in the desert would be in vain, so I approached it, prepared as one can, for what might be. “Lay down your staff!” a voice said from the stone platform as I ascended. I sized up the sorcerer I saw before me. So, this was the reason for my divergent course. I kept quiet, waiting my time. “I will not ask again, Rhalyf,” the wizard said. Still, I watched. Unconcerned he knew me, though I not him. Without additional warning, he cast a binding spell. I met the spell and withstood it, but still he persisted. “Cease your assault!” I commanded. My words went unheeded. As I gathered my strength to throw off this spell, the very stone beneath us tremored and glowed, the same evil as this sorcerer’s spell. “Enough!” I cried as I pressed back. I heard a crack and saw the dark figure fall. At the same time, the sand storm returned enveloping the stone henge, soon blocking everything from sight. When the storm subsided again, I was alone in the desert again. No trace of the stone platform or the sorcerer. This is my “Wizards Duel” entry into the Colossal Castle Contest 2020 (CCC XVIII) as well as LOLUG’s December competition. The challenge prompt did not provide a setting, leaving it wide open. The first concrete idea I had was a magical henge. Lighting seemed like the best way to convey a sense of magic to the environment and I went with trans-neon green. I am happy with the way the pillars came out, but was hoping the lighting in the floor would have been brighter and more uniform. The round edge of the stone platform uses the standard 1x3 brick and 1x1 round brick technique. The center/floor is made up of various slope pieces, tiles and plates, many not connected, but just laying there. For the sand, I borrowed Blake Foster’s technique from his amazing M:Tron Magnet Factory. Comments and criticism welcome. I'm submitting this for Petraea University's General Building (Other Techniques) -> Lighted Builds Website | Flickr | YouTube

    [MOC] Wizard's House

Wizard's House Adventurer wizard just received salary for last dangerous quest and bought new house. He doesn't know that there is a one extra floor in this property. Merchant told him only about living room with entresol, nothing more. He took the money and went away laughting. New adventure is closer than our hero thinks. The question is, what about old dweller from dungeon, which is hidden in the dark? All set is modular, so there are a lot of possibilites to use. For example living room and roof, or you can change the basement to something else, maybe treasury or laboratory? What do you think? There is a hidden door to the lowest level, hiding in the rock. 17. With the new Harry Potter sets I wondered what a new Chamber of Secrets would look like. I would like the Basilisk to be moulded so I focused on the environment itself. Including the snake entrance and the tunnels Harry escaped through in the films before confronting the Basilisk again.

[MOC] Gandalf and Thorin at Bree

This is a remake of a very old MOC of mine, and one of my favorite scenes from the Appendices of LOTR. The original MOC was absolutely horrendous so I will not link it here. If you care to dig through my MOCPages folders, feel free to suffer! Thorin tells Gandalf of his plans to reclaim the Lonely Mountain (Erebor) and Gandalf offers to find the 14th member of the company. This is based on my own interpretation of the scene in the book, as well as a painting by Ted Nasmith, rather than the scene from the movie. I tried out some new techniques and styles here and I tried to put in as much detail as I could. Overall I'm rather happy with the results. I appreciate all comments and constructive criticisms!

    [MOC] Mustrum Ridcully Bust

Here's my newest Discworld build, bust of current Archchancellor of Unseen Univeristy, Mustrum Ridcully. I've built the character in normal scale couple of times, and this bust project is rather old too - it began in autumn 2016 and was on top of a self for over two years... But when I moved recently, I decided to finally finish it, as it looked quite promising. Here's the results. I'm particularly pleased with the facial features and the expression. The beard is bit plain, but it was a conscious choice to reduce the visual noice on the model - it's a large creation, after all. As on the reference books, the hat as couple of drawers to hold fishing hooks and stuff, and there are few hand-tied lure flies stuck to it. More photos and stuff on Cyclopic Bricks.

    Future Licensed Sets ?

I've been searching a general topic in this LEGO Licensed part in vain so I decided to create my first one. Maybe it could be used as a topic for future new licensed sets before they have their own topic. Originally, my question was about the future of The Wizard of Oz with LEGO in 2019 ? With the reappearance of the license The Simpsons after 3 years without one Simpsons set and the 1939 movie anniversary next year, is it possible to have something more than 71221 (Dimensions 2015) and 70917 (TLBM 2017) ? We have great molds for the flying monkeys from 70917, we have the Wicked Witch of the West, we have Toto, we have an anniversary next year (1939-2019) but do we still have the license next year ?
  22. Hello guys, For the last month, I've been working on my Dark Wizards Tower on and off. I really want to go through with this moc but I need your help to finish it. So far I have completed the exterior of 2 sides (Not enough parts for the other 2 sides) and next I am going to be building the interior. There are 5 floors and they all come apart. I need suggestions for 4 things; 1. A Name for the Tower (If I really like it and end up using it, I will send you a free copy of the instructions when there ready :) 2. Ideas for the 4 floors of the tower (Plus the dungeon) 3. An idea for the top, something really cool. 4. Overall feedback on the exterior of the tower and things I can improve. Thanks so much for looking. I'll be updating this thread as I go along.
  23. I decided The Nexo Knights Volcano Lair playset needed a little something extra... I added a Skull tower with a throne and a platform for adding ingredients into a cauldron for mixing up magical mischief... Work in progress image... Best picture I could get of the throne

    The Elf-Witch Cottage

The Elf-Witch Cottage In the depths of the enchanted woods, where reality and fantasy meet, an elf-witch has lived since forever. Nobody knows her name or her exact age, maybe 100, maybe 1000 years, but it doesn't matter, she's part of the woods she lives in now. She's always busy with her magic potions and her studies… fascinated by nature's incredible colors and shapes, she keeps on living in her house, away from the rest of the world. I've always been fascinated by nature, by its colors, and by the fantasy universe. In this project I tried to put it all together, using unusual parts and colors that I'd underestimated before. I'm very satisfied with the result. Oswald the Ordinary

Oswald strives to be ordinary. You think all wizard workshops are rickety and colourful? Well you are wrong there my friend. For you have obviously never meet Oswald, who is the one wizard in all the land who prefers the laws of gravity to imagination. Entry for R1 of the LCBTC. Hello everybody, its been a while. And it may seem I have been rather inactive but in truth I have been busy building things that just cannot be posted yet... I don't mind this, it's not really a wizards workshop that much. No bright colours and wonky angles (hense the name). Oh well, hopefully i will do better next round (if I get through that is :p) Hope you enjoy and C&C Needed.
