    De Fiori Armory

Weapon makers both by trade and inclination, the de Fiori's armory is always sure to be well-stocked and sharp. Although swords are their field of expertise, they do not confine themselves to them entirely, and their armory is packed full with weapons of all descriptions from the de Fiori forges. A closeup: The chandelier: And a last couple of pics: Hey all! Another Varlyrian build from me, this time a full interior scene of the family's armory. Also an entry to CCC's interior category. And since it ended up a lot larger than an 8x8, I went ahead and used the opportunity to introduce quite a number of my Varlyrian characters. Check them all out here! Just have got a couple of them left and I think I'll have all the living family members covered (except one old lady who I only plan on pulling out if everybody else in the whole family dies ) The scene was inspired by this awesome picture, in case anyone was curious Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  2. As Mophet grew, so did the need for arms and other items a blacksmith could provide. Hid'ad had grown up in Mophet and seen the place transform from a sleepy little oasis into a blossoming community, not something seen very often in the badlands...He had gotten more and more busy lately and as he continued to go about his everyday work, his wife had gotten the bright idea to expand the business. After a little persuasion, they ended up being responsible for Mophets first armory. Although that didn't change life much for Hid'ad, as he still spent most of his days in the Kali-heat working the metal into some of the finest swords in the region. Khabaz the baker is also a recurring sight for people visiting Mophet. He might not be the best baker i Kaliphlin (in fact, he's average at best...) but he makes up for it in enthusiasm and an infectious laugh that keeps his business going. Hid'ad working on a sword which is to be delivered to the Mophet guards along with other fresh supplies. So this is another addition to the collab, and to Mophet of course. Had a fun time making the blacksmith-area and fairly pleased with how it turned out. For the armory I tried to get a bit of a different look on the facade, but looking back I'm not too sure about the red patterns...The ground is again a bit sparse, at least in the center-section, but again the idea was that it's mostly just gravel there. Outside of the square is a bit of "pavement" but I'm a little unsure about how well that worked out. If I were to redo it I would probably add roads as an additional border but I must admit I was running out of pieces at this point in the creation of Mophet... Anyways, a fun build and I hope you guys like it. Cheers!

    Batcave MOC

Here is our LEGO Batcave. I realize there have been many amazing Batcave MOCS, but I wanted to give it a go anyhow. This is about 2 months of my LEGO building time. Lights are from Brickstuff. The biggest building challenge, besides the pure size, was to try to have decent rock work, and lots of different angles going on. Not sure the photos do that justice, but I was pretty happy with the overall result. I drew inspiration from some other MOC's I a have seen, and various incarnations of the Batcave in the comics. Also I have some minor homages to the previous LEGO Batcaves worked in, the Sewer from the first one, some of the details from the new Classic Batcave, and ..... very little I suppose from the 6860 set. I tried to go for a 'working' Batcave. Something with labs, work-spaces, etc. The wood section is supposed to be a leftover from the original foundation which was simply built up around. And I thought it was nice to add a little different color visually. There is a working elevator to an updated Wayne Manor that sits directly above the Batcave, I'll be adding photos of that soon. 4. Previously: A: The Bull's Eye B: River encounter C: The Siege of Falconstone Now Davok has finished his whole story, the Mitgardian commanders that gathered in the armory on Glorfindel's command, also joined, together with the Falcon spy that handed Davok to the council. Sir Glorfindel spoke first. "So, this is how the king died, and you are a convict in this. but how is this so important for this moment, for you know as good as we do that we have to muster our forces as soon as we are allowed to." "Its that mage, milord. I didnt know his name at that time, but I DO know the name now. And it matches all together milord, the description, the timing, everything." "Could you please tell me the name, because we are quite in a hurry, im afraid!" "Raavage sir. The mage who killed the king, who hired us. It was lord Raavage." Now, every attendant started to talk at once. "SILENCE!" The voice of sir Glorfindel rose firmly above the others, without any need to shout. "Thank you milady", Glorfindel smiled, as he turned his head to the girl in the falcon tunic. "It seems you have delivered us a spire rebel!" Nemayra, the spy, made a little bow. "Alas I was not in time to get reinforcements, all I could do was warning our city..." "So, what to do with this man? How about we execute him and..." "SIR!", Davok tried to say another thing. "Milord this was not all! I could not prevent the death of the king, but I saw something, and gave my commanders orders to distract the view of the mages. During the aftermath of the battle, someone tried to escape from the city. It was a woman, her clothes told us she was with the king before. Milord, she.., she..." Davok had gotten their full attention now. "she carried a baby. She made it out, we covered her. The baby was carried away." Now Nemayra's eyes lit up. "She made it? But milord, that was the Queen's nurse, with the heir! I know where they were heading for!", and she whispered something to Glorfindel, a bit affraid of the other attendants. Immediatly Sir Glorfindel made up its mind. "Athron! you will lead the army. Layra, you and the Guard will go on a task force to Kaliphlin. We have a chance to unite. To unite all of Historica, once more. "Davok, you will join command of this taskforce to proof yourself. You might have done treacherous things, fact is, you successfully laid siege to one of the Plain's greatest cities. We need every good commander we can get. You can take a select few of your best men as well. Nemayra, you will lead their way." Both women now protested. Layra: "You want me to share command with this suspect of High Treason? Milord!" From the side of Nemayra, there were some words about having an enemy amidst them, as well. But Glorfindel gave one last command. "Mitthral! Send word to the Dragon Masters in Avalonia. The heir has been found!" l to r: Davok (my sigfig), Sir Glorfindel (SoccerKid), Colonel Athron, General Layra, Captain Mitthral, a Mitgardian infantrist in standard outfit, and Falcon-scout Nemayra I got myself some green/yellow minifig arms and oh I love them! :)

    Nordheim Armory

The 5th module of my large collab with Isaac, for BrickFair Virginia 2016. See the others: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. The Nordheim Armory supplies the Nordheim Watch with their weapons and armor, in addition to storing to storing many of the weapons for the bustling city, in case of attack. It also houses a small forge area outside, where the weapons are made. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated

    MOC - Tony Stark's Garage

Quite some time has passed since I promised I'd share this MOC. Life and such got in the way, but here we're now. So, Tony Stark always calls it 'the Garage', no matter where it is (Stark Mansion, Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, wherever...). It is the place where he makes his magic and builds the Iron Man suits. Some call it (or parts of it) 'the Armory' or 'the Hall of Armors'. Here's my rendition of what we see in the Iron Man 3 film, based on few posters and screen-caps from the trailers (plus what my memory retains from seeing it almost one month ago). StarkGarage_004 di LuxorV, su Flickr I tried to give it some life by putting up the tables and tools on them. Since I find the official LEGO 'Dummy'-like robot-arm model quite poor, I made my own. StarkGarage_003 di LuxorV, su Flickr Of course, I had to include the stereo and the iconic scene when Tony experiments with the new Mk. 42 armor (as this scene is in the trailers, I don't think I'm spoiling anything for anyone). StarkGarage_002 di LuxorV, su Flickr At the back, you can see the 'Hall of Armors' itself, with the seven suits seen in Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Avengers films. Some of these already appeared in a MOC of mine last year: the Stark Workshop. Most of them are purist, the Mk. VI is the only completely original one, while the Mk. VII uses a custom painted BrickForge Powered Assault Armor to bulk it up. I'm pretty happy with the Mk. III, where I used a Rowan soldier torso to simulate the battle scratched chest piece (admittedly, the arc reactor should be a bit higher up, though... ). Hope you like it.

    Lake Town Armory MOC

Hi guys, just wanna share one of my ideas to create some add on to the current lake town set (i had many of them but they are containing a huge number of pieces, and I like to create something what can actually fits to that set) So just prelims, but I accept your suggestions. If anyone have some good idea for creating some other buildings to lake town (in the set size) I will be glad to hear them :)

    Sci-Fi Armory

So, obviously it's the start of an armory I want to build an armory, mainly for my Space Police 3 and Galaxy Patrol figs. I'm simply kicking around ideas for now, please feel free to submit your own designs! Eventually I'd like to have a big room for them, with shooting range, lockers, etc. Here's a nice generic design that's easily moddable. -The individual 4-wide sections can be linked with 1x2 grill tiles. -The row of 1x1 plates allow clips to move anywhere along the line to fit all sorts of weapons. -You can put whatever you want under the bench, or remove the bench completely to clip more weapons to the wall.
