  1. After 9 month of work, I present the completed version of my latest Moc, a 2019 Subaru WRX STI It features : AWD, with lockable central differential 6+R Sequential gearbox Fornt McPherson Suspension Rear double wishbone suspension, with anti-roll bar Working fake boxer engine Opening doors (front one with handle) Opening hood (or bonnet) Opening trunk Interior with detailed dashboard Decorated engine bay Render of the gearbox : Full driveline The belly shot The interior, with some detail, such as aerations. Engine bay, made to look as close as possible to the real one : It can also be built in white, with some minor adjustments. I also created Instructions for it. The instructions are made for the black one, but can, with minor adjustment be used for the white one. The instructions are 1218 pages long, handmade with Stud.io 2.0. You can download a sample here. Or look down here. You can Buy the instructions on Rebrickable. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-38243/Toucanx/subaru-wrx-sti/#comments And of course a video : I Hope you like it. If you have any question, don't hesitate, I will try to answer quickly. After this line, starts the WIP thread. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Hi everyone, It's been a long time since I haven't posted on this forum, but today I would like to share a new project that I have started not so long ago. It's a Subaru Impreza WRX STI car that I will make. The list of what I will put in the car is the following : Awd Boxer 4 engine McPherson suspension for the front wheels Indépendant double whisbone for the rear wheels Lockable central differential 5 speed sequential gearbox I searched a bit for 5-speed sequential gearbox but I didn't found any. So I took a 4-speed gearbox design by @Rage_Hobbit (found there) and I added a 5th speed. Here is the result : You can download the .lfx. Note that you are supposed to place rubber band linking the orange pieces to the black one under the blue triangle. I have already made the boxer engine and most of the chassis. It will use these wheels : It's the one that are used in 42077 rally car. However I ran in a problem, it seems that the gearbox can not support the force involved in the transmission. The gears do a lot of skipping noises (doesn't sound healthy for the pieces). So I wanted to know if anyone knew a reliable 5-speed sequential gearbox / a 5+r sequential gearbox. That's it for today. More updates coming soon.
  2. Hello! I'm Bogdan Kazak, I'm new here. I want to introduce you to my very old model. Built from an old lego technic - a Subaru Impreza WRX STI in the hatchback that Ken Block had once ridden Thank you for watching!

  4. I'm back with my latest model, a lifted bugeye Subaru chopped into a ute! Subarute by VKTechnic, on Flickr First off, the features: Remote control drive with 3-diff AWD, central differential lock through a lever in the cabin, and fake boxer 6 engine Remote control steering with linked steering wheel Opening air-shock hood, doors, and liftgate, all with latching mechanisms Headlights, foglights, and taillights, with an in-cabin switch for foglights Fully adjustable seats, with under-seat lever to move seat forward and back Front McPherson strut and rear trailing arm pneumatic suspension Custom flags representing Axial (maker of the Ripsaw 1.9 tires) and Mighty Car Mods (the main inspiration for the car) Subarute by VKTechnic, on Flickr This model was a fun one for me. After seeing what Mighty Car Mods could do to a 2002 Subaru WRX wagon in less than 3 days, I wanted to take my own spin on the Subaru ute concept. The first main challenge was suspension, as I had to design a McPherson strut with drive, and the rear trailing arm suspension was completely new to me. I did have to compromise -- using CV joints in the suspension meant I could get everything compact, but the off-road performance tanked. Definitely a little disappointing, but I think I made up for it with all the other fun features. Subarute by VKTechnic, on Flickr Every opening feature of the model has a latch on it. The hood has an air shock, and can be released from the driver's side footwell. Door handles were based off an old design by Nicjasno (aka LPEPower), which I managed to slim down to fit within 2 studs of the door panel. The tailgate latch is probably the least realistic since it's activated from the inside of the bed, but I mainly did this to keep the continuity of the bodywork. Subarute by VKTechnic, on Flickr The seats were also something new for me, and it's an area I've struggled with in past models. I did manage to make these seats fully adjustable, with a lever under the seat to slide them forward and backward. Aside from that, the cabin also has a lever to lock the central diff, and a switch for the front foglights. Subarute by VKTechnic, on Flickr Overall, I'm happy with how the model turned out. I think I captured the bugeye look fairly well, and all the manual functions were fun to try out. Of course, it is disappointing that the model didn't perform too well off-road, but I can say for sure that my next model will destroy everything off-road! P.S. I did make a video of the functions, thought it would be short but it turned out to be almost 10 minutes. Enjoy!
  5. UPDATE: Changed the title of the thread, since people have already guessed the model! Hey guys! Feels good to be back with a WIP. This is one that I've been developing mostly digitally, since the Koenigsegg is still assembled, and I spend most of my days at uni. Anyways, if you follow me on Flickr or Facebook, you've already seen some LDD screenshots and perhaps this photo of the front suspension: Prototype Front Suspension by VKTechnic, on Flickr As you can see, the front axle has McPherson strut suspension with drive and Ackermann steering! Took a lot of tinkering to get the wheel hubs just right without modifying anything, but I'm happy with the result. Moving on to the rest of the chassis, I've decided to try a few new things. Inspired by the LPEPower E30, I've made the B-pillars and roll-cage structurally sound, so I can roll the model (and pick it up by the roof) without worrying about anything coming off: Virtual WIP by VKTechnic, on Flickr Over the past few days, I've been working hard on building a physical chassis, and similar to the Koenigsegg's WIP, I'm using odd-colored pieces to fill in the pieces I'll need to order in white: Mystery WIP! by VKTechnic, on Flickr At this point, the chassis is driveable, and the majority of the functions are, well, functional. The rear suspension is another new one for me: proper trailing arms! I've mounted two XL motors in the very rear of the chassis along with the batteries and receivers. There's also a manually locking central diff, and a fake engine that I've removed for the photo (it'd spoil too much ). Front end is in the works, but I may have to do the rear end first to minimize spoilers
  6. Hi everyone! Today I want to share my new creation - Lego Technic Subaru Forester Specifications: SBrick for remote control 2 L motors on four wheel drive Servo motor on steering LED lights Small battery box Boxer engine Fully functional body More detailed model can be found in my blog
  7. I don't know if this builder posts here or not, but this certainly deserves a thread... One small thing that I love are the blue Subaru emblems that he did with the "star" being the cross in them... Outstanding... Full Brickshelf Gallery Video: He really detailed the engine too...

V-LV-52F Can't afford a real one? Live fast in the Minifig lane! 4-wide interpretation of the (pick your favourite brand) Subaru BRZ Scion FRS Toyota 86 Or, if you prefer, the model is simply a "generic" sports car, and the inspiration point was the Toyo-baru 86....
