  1. Hi All, Here's a dragon MOC I made a few months ago. You can build it with 42066 (Race Jet) and 31313 (Mindstorms). It can walk forward, backwards and make turns. To my best knowledge, not many LEGO quadrupeds have this range of movement. Enjoy! I also did a making-of video. You might be interested in all my bloopers: I didn't make building instructions, but there's an LXF file here. I'm not a really good builder - I'm more of a programmer - so I would be interested in your suggestions and improvements: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3p... Programming the dragon is not really easy, because you need to sync and resync the legs. Here's program file to get you started: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3phDY_OwOU9VEdMLUQzNUFBLW8/view
  2. Legonardo

    Eldorado Outpost

Inspired by set 6276 Eldorado fortress, by designer Daniel August Krentz, who passed away last week. Was started some months ago as an entry to my local lugs 'classic set redux' challenge, but my course got in the way and I didn't get round to finishing it. Not too much special in techniques and part usage (the one bit of NPU isn't actually visible in the photo) but some cool colours I think work quite well going on, hope you enjoy! David
  3. Space Police XVIII

[moc] (set 6883) 8x8 space truck

6883 was my second Lego set, here's a brickset link for anyone curious, and I remember really hating it. Which was okay; it was my first 'picking this just for the parts' choice. Recently I felt like revisiting the idea, just making a big eight-wheeled articulated cargo vehicle, so here it is. It started with that big hinge assembly, I had it laying around for a few weeks before I figured out what to do with it. Suspension was next, lots of articulation for rock crawling. There's a little drone for scouting the terrain ahead, some accessories for the pilot, and the back section is mostly a big cargo container. This one holds a little quad vehicle and the white satellite thing from the original 1987 set.
  4. Hi guys, Salut tout le monde, I'de like to share here some links to The NXT Step blog where is presented the ROBOT REMIX #1 challenge, where the MINDSTORMS team challenged some of the MCP (MINDSTORMS Community Partners) to come up with creative ways to remix a given Technic set and the Home edition of the EV3 set. for ROBOT REMIX #1 the Technic set is the brand new Sea Plane, a great Technic set that happens to be in the same color scheme ;) In this first post, is explained in a bit more details what is ROBOT REMIX http://www.thenxtstep.com/2015/08/robot-remix-1.html Then this week was presented the first of 4 remix, this one from master Isogawa http://www.thenxtstep.com/2015/08/robot-remix-1-exhibit-helicopt3r.html Stay tune for the presentation of the other 3 remix in the coming weeks. : . . baz
