    [MOC] Local Post Office

Here is my Post Office MOC. It is intended to be a small local post office to serve the modular street needs. The ground floor is the post office itself and the upper two floors are an apartment for the postal worker to live in. Here is the MOC with some of my other MOCs and the Parisian restaurant.
  2. Welcome to The Little Post Office. The little post office is my newest MOC it is based on france bouwsteil, I designed the project for the Bricklink Designer Program series 1, if you like the project leave a smillie on bricklink if you want :) https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/377/The-little-post-office Please let me know what you think in the comments. I'm very curious what you all think of my project ground floor You can hand in all your parcels and letters at the post office or pick them up at the counter. The postman can weigh your parcel and then sort it into the post crates. The letters are sorted in a postal sorting rack with house numbers indicated in different colors, you can guess which buildings they are. Electric step charging station At the E-step charging point you can get a fully charged electric step to drive past all your favorite modular buildings. There is also an electrical inverter hidden under the stairs from the solar panels on the roof. In the Tech shop you can buy the latest technical gadgets including smartphones, telephone covers, computer with speakers, or an OLED TV. first floor The pharmacy is the place where you can get all your medication such as vitamins or pain relief. There is also a rack with bandages or plasters, there is also a cosmetics rack. In the office, every working day starts with a nice hot cup of coffee. The office contains an extensive interior including a. Copy machine Coffee machine Cabinet with folders Desk with two computers. second floor There are two apartments on the second floor. The left apartment has a kitchen, a dining table for two, a bed with bedside table and night lamp. In the apartment on the right lives a woman who likes to play games. In her apartment you can find a full bathroom, there is also a kitchen and a bed, but of course you should not miss the game chair and game station. The roof On the roof you can find three pairs of solar panels that can power the building. function All the balcony doors can swing open inwards. This modular building has a unique connection option. Normally you can connect a modular building as a straight street or in a corner of the street, this building has both options so that you can choose where you want it in your street.
  3. So I woke up the morning of Sept. 22nd, 2022 to the news Winter Village set 10308 - Holiday Main Street had been revealed. I liked some of it (Trolley FTW!) but the buildings were lacking "something". So, I tried to recreate the music store in LDD to fix what I thought I needed to fix. That quickly turned into full-blown MOC only slightly inspired by the set with a fold-open back wall and vastly different interior. More recently, I revisited it to add in a bay window, elongate the second floor, and revise the troublesome roof with a design inspired by set 10246. (Detective Office modular building) The lower floor has got a sales desk with old fashioned cash register, a scale for weighing packages, and a couple safety deposit boxes. The poster on the wall above the boxes will be a "most wanted" mugshot, for a true post office feel. Moving on, the upper floor is the sorting room, with bunches of drawers for route maps / address change requests / etc., cubbyholes for outgoing mail, and trashcans for dead letters. The table is for where the postal employees do the sorting. The rear of the building has a service door to give access to big trucks for delivery / pickup of cross-country mail. The 8-wide postal delivery vehicle was heavily inspired by free instructions for a 6-wide hi-rail vehicle (called the Stud Inspector) I found at the bottom of this page by Brick train Depot. It really is a cool model, and a neat callback to the "Rivet Counter" trucks you sometimes see on (non-LEGO) model railroad layouts. I added a opening rear loading door, a different color scheme, and (of course) revised it to 8-wide. Thoughts, anyone? EDIT 2/3/23: Revised model, added new pictures. For comparison, here is the original MOC:

    [MOC] Post Office

Finally it's done! For the past 10 months, whenever I've found the time, I've been working on my new project "Post Office". My first corner house from the Modular Building series. Besides the challenge of 45° angles in Lego to build nice and stable, the biggest challenge with the corner house was certainly the small space. You can also see the whole project under MOC-88507 - Post Office on Rebrickable. There you can also buy the building instructions as PDF. Best you make yourselves a picture of it, enjoy! As already mentioned, the Post Office is a modular corner building. The MOC consists of an old post office on the first floor, a design agency on the 1st floor and a small yoga studio on the top floor. The MOC has a lot of details on each floor. It is built on a standard 32 x 32 baseplate and includes 11 minifigures and a small mobile flower wagon. Ground Floor - Post Office On the first floor is an old classic post office with two counters. In the post office there are many details like a copier, a packing corner or postcard racks. Outside there is an ATM and a flower seller with a small flower wagon. 1st floor - Ninja Design - Design Agency On the 1st floor, next to the passage to the outside spiral staircase to the top floor, there is a small, fully equipped design agency with work desks, eating area and sitting area. Many details such as posters of print campaigns, awards, a bookshelf and a water dispenser enliven the modern furnished office space. 2nd floor - Yoga Studio Small yoga studio on the top floor with a locker room, a gong and a water dispenser. There is an old clock on the outside that can be operated from the roof. Roof From the 2nd floor, a ladder leads to the flat roof. The roof is deliberately kept simple next to two air conditioners has made a small bird comfortable on the roof.

    [MOC] The Village Post Office

Hi everyone It's been a while since I've posted a MOC on Eurobricks, in fact this is my first new MOC for over a year and the first building I've designed for almost 2 years. Anyway this is my latest creation "The Village Post Office". The model represents a typical British Post Office from the early 1930's and also features a vintage mail van. At first glance it may look like a modular but it is not. The model features an open back design and the different levels can't be separated. The base is also much different in size and design to a standard modular building. In total the model contains 2262 pieces. Here are some shots of the exterior... Notable features include an iconic red phone box, pillar box a bench and a tree. A series of steps at the side give the minifigs access to the first floor. INTERIOR DETAILS As mentioned earlier the building has an open back to give access to the interiors. On the ground floor is the main Post Office itself. I've tried to give this a rustic, vintage appearance with wooden floorboards and wood panelled service desk. Details include a cash register, lable dispenser, a set of weighing scales and shelves behond the desk for sorting all the mail. Opposite the desk is a parcel wrapping station. The idea for this was stolen borrowed from the Elf Clubhouse set. On the first floor above I've added an apartment which is home to the couple who run the Post Office. This is packed with everything they need including a bed, fireplace, kitchen and an antique gramophone. I didn't have space to include a toilet - but at least they have a bucket. VINTAGE MAIL VAN The mail van is a traditional red style truck as would have been used in Britain during the early 1930's. It is 6 studs wide and features opening rear doors and a removeable roof. The emblems on the van and postman are bespoke prints I created for this model. MINIFIGS AND OTHER DETAILS The model contains 4 mnifigs, a postman, customer and the husband and wife who run the post office and live in the appartment above. I've also included a bike and several animals. LEGO IDEAS My reason for designing this with an open back and with a unique style base was to try and distance it as much as possible from the modular buildings and hopefully give it a better chance of success on LEGO IDEAS. My hope is that if this was lucky enough to reach 10K then LEGO would view it as a standalone building in a similar way to The Old Fishing Store, and not something that would conflict with the modular building series. Anyway I hope you like the model. I had a lot of fun designing this one.. Feel free to let me know what you think. I'd also be massively grateful if anyone would be kind enough to support it on LEGO IDEAS as well. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/16ae1e95-cf30-41dd-ae23-36e07668df05 Thanks very much.

    [MOC] BRICK SQUARE POST OFFICE

Hi everyone I'd like to present my latest MOC, and the follow up to my previous Modular, "The Queen Bricktoria Pub". This time I've designed another British style building, a Post Office, set some time during the late 1950's. There is much more to it than just a Post Office though. Read on to find out more... As you can see this modular building has 3 floors and is built on a 32 x 32 base plate. I have designed it to appear as 2 separate buildings situated around a small town square. The post office is intended to be the main focus of the model but the building on the right also contains a fish & chip shop and other businesses. The Minifigures I've included 6 minifigs with this MOC. From left to right they are: Post Office Worker, Post Office Manager, The Postman, Chip Shop Owner, Cafe Barista and a Business man. Brick Square and Ground Level Details Both the buildings are arranged around "Brick Square". I've included a small flowering tree in the centre of the square and outside the post office there is a pillar box, bench, rubbish bin and flower pots. Outside the fish and chip shop is a table with parasol. The Pillar box is a simple build made up from 2x2 round bricks, plates and tiles, stacked up and held together with a technic axle running through the middle. The shaped slot section towards the top is made from a red wheel flipped on its side. Sandwiched between both buildings is a shared stairwell which can be accessed from the street. This is how the minifigs access the upper floors. The Post Office The pictures below show the interior of the post office. Mail Sorting Office On the floor above the post office is the room where all the mail gets sorted, ready to be sent out. This room is accessed via the stair well outside the post office. Fish & Chip Shop Another iconic British building - a fish and Chip Shop. The shop sells chips, battered fish, burgers, sausages and drinks. Coffee Shop Above the Fish & Ship Shop is a little cafe with a coffee machine, cake stand, table and seat. In the corner of the cafe is a stair case leading up to the top floor. Office Above the cafe is an office used by a local businessman. I've included a desk with drawers, telephone and paperwork. There is also a grandfather clock and plant pots. Mail Van I have also included a vehicle with this MOC, a vintage style Mail van. The Finished Model Here is a shot of the Brick Square Post Office, alongside my other modulars, The Queen Bricktoria and Convenience Store. If you'd like to read more about these other MOCs then follow the links below. Convenience Store Queen Bricktoria Thanks very much for reading. If you'd like to see more pictures of the Brick Square Post Office then head across to my Flickr page, I've added over 60 pictures of it there. I hope you like my latest MOC, feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think. EDIT: Building instructions for this MOC are now available from Rebrickable at the following link https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-22101/Bricked1980/brick-square-post-office/#comments
  7. Location: Stormhaven Type: Small Artisan? Task: Mangrove Madness, No. 12 Corrington's mail system allows for speedy communication through the colonies. A post marshall ensures that letters are kept confidential, and that the proper amount of postage is added to each letter. Even the mighty, WTC obeyed the rules of the post office, it was far too risky to risk losing canned Horse Meat orders. Fin Thanks for viewing my first build in like forever. I thought I'd do something stormhaven related to warm up, and I hope that this works too get my skills back. C&C appreciated. Prepare for shenanigans.

    [MOC] CHRISTMAS AT BRICK SQUARE

Hi everybody This is my latest creation, a special Christmas edition of my MOC modular building, "Brick Square Post Office". Hope you like it. Twas the night before Christmas... ... and all the kids at Brick Square were getting excited, building snowmen and putting up the Christmas tree. The children had been busy writing their lists for Santa. They handed their letters to the postman, who was loading up his van ready for the last mail run of the day. He set off in to the snowy night with his precious cargo, but by now the snow was falling thickly. Then there was trouble! The post van hit a snow drift much bigger than usual. Stranded in the snow, the quick thinking Postman grabbed his phone and telephoned ahead. Meanwhile back at Brick Square everything was silent and the children were feeling anxious. It was getting late and the Postman should have returned by now. Just then a friendly whistle sounded in the distance and the air was suddenly filled with the sweet smell of steam It was Santa. He had ditched his reindeer and sleigh and instead opted for good old fashioned steam power, courtesy of The Old Workhorse Traction Engine. Don’t forget The Old Workhorse is on LEGO Ideas. https://lego.build/2vRfVGL Please spare a couple of minutes to give it your support if you’d like to see it made as a real LEGO set. Anyway, shameless self-promotion out of the way, lets continue the story ... The Old Workhorse arrived at Brick Square carrying Santa himself and all the presents for the children. And just in case you wondered what happened to the Postman. Don’t worry, he made it back home in time for Christmas Day! THE END! I hope that you've enjoyed reading this and looking at the pictures. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone on Eurobricks a very happy Christmas, and all the best for 2019.

    [MOC][WIP] Post Office

Hi, Long time reader, first time (proper) poster. I'm working on adding a post office into my modular street (I loath to call it a town, as it's not even close to some that I've seen on here!). I was originally building it up in LDD, but have since redesigned it using stud.io. It's a WIP at the minute, but I'm looking for a bit of feedback, as this is my first proper MOC. I'm planning on using 7731 in the driveway, and 60100 for the helipad that will be on the roof. Any constructive feedback would be great. https://flic.kr/s/aHskxeK1gH Link to Flickr album, as it won't let me upload images > 20kb!

[ MOC ] Mail Box at V City

Finally! This is the Mail Box! I took quite some time off from my last creation, and now I finally realized what was in my hand for quite some months. This yellow building is my latest modern architecture creation, and clearly, it is the place where you post your letters and get other mailing services, the post office! Many people would use up most of the inches for a corner building design, but I want to reclaim the space for the people. How about a negative building? I decided to remove the walls along the pavement, and create a nice, welcoming semi-outdoor space. Then the building will start to "climb" onto the remaining walls, as if they are inserted into the planes. I used grey for the horizontal box indicating that this is the public area. You can do your mailing at the counter or get help. You can also buy postcards and other mail products. The above is the black box, which is the office, the staff-only place. You can post your letters outside. Note the local and air mailboxes! The blue one is stamp vending machine. Buy, stick and post! On the other side of the yellow wall is the loading bay, and you can see things are just scattered around, with parcels pending delivery...the other side is the lift shaft, with a workable lift! The mail car parks here, and ready to be loaded and go! The first floor is the office where the postmen sort the letters. Looks like they need to have OT today... The second floor is where the manager sits. You can also find special delivery section here. They are brainstorming about how to deliver these silver bricks. Who is that artist? He is the designer for the post products, like the first-day-of-issue! The computer? For the drones! Yes, the drones! With these little robots, speed delivery will be really...speedy. No need to wait for any man or car to send your urgent letters! Hope you enjoy this! Now start posting!

  13. So its been about a year since the last time we took stock of Godwins Hollow's growth and all in all it's been a pretty good year. We've renovated several areas - the Red Brick Pizza Oven, the costume shop, courier, and sporting goods store. We've added a travel agency and post office. Lockridge Estates and Lockridge Farms both got a makeover and we're sure there's a few other things here and there. Anyways, this is where are little city stands today. For all of the pics please feel free to stop by our Flickr page.

    [MOC] Winter Village Display.

Hello EB Members! On the 4th of November 2014 I began construction of our LEGO Winter Village Christmas display. 8 days and 7 late late nights (2am/3am) later I have finished!. This has been my biggest MOC to date. Not that I have done many... This is my 2nd major MOC, but I have done about 7 small little 16x16 baseplate sized ones. The size of this display is Three 48 x 48 and One 32 x 32 baseplates wide and Two 48 x 48 baseplate deep. (1410mm W X 770mm D) It's lowest point sits on the actual baseplate, and at it's highest point it stands at about 34 bricks high! (330mm H) The whole thing is modularized and each building is easily detectible like a floor level on a "modular building". Throughout the build I have added in some things for the kids to look for like a Where's Wally/Waldo. They have to find: 8 x Elves 5 x Reindeer 4 x fire hydrants 3 x Owls Find everyone that is doing a sport ie: snow baseball, Ice hockey etc.. Everyday I move Bad Santa around and the Kids have to spot him in his new location. (since taking these Photo's the kids also have to find 6 toy Soldiers, the very same ones in the October bonus S@H set) The carousel works with power functions and the motor is hidden in the "shed" and the battery pack is underneath the shed in the underbelly of the foundations. Below are a few Photos of the display... You can view more photos in myFlickR Folder here. Thank you for taking the time to look. C & C are most welcome!
