  1. Category B - From the office of...: On a maximum footprint of 32x32 create the home work environment of the classic Johnny Thunder characters. From Doctor Charles Lightning's study to the Library at Sinister Mansion, everyone has a space to prepare for future adventure. As with the main category, the figures have to be recognisable as the Adventurer characters as best as possible. The prize up for Grabs is 100 Euro to spend on LEGO sets on the LEGO online shop. Rules Recap: No clone brands but custom figure parts/prints are acceptable. Digital entries are only accepted for the Ride to Adventure category. This must be a new MOC or otherwise significantly different to previously posted builds- For example, a nice statue build already shared can form an element of the new MOC, likewise a desk/bookshelf design. As long as it is not the main or largest part of the contest entry, recycling is allowed within reason. If a vehicle is present as part of the larger categories, it cannot be entered into the Ride to Adventure category. The Great Adventure and From the Office of builds do not have to be assembled onto a baseplate, but must demonstrably be within the stipulated footprint. A scale shot has to be included extra to the entry photos that shows the footprint (ruler, plates, outline. Anything that can be used to prove the MOC sits within the required footprint for the category). Reasonable overhang is limited to incidental points no more than 4 studs over the boundary. A tree branch, flagpole or other small features. Hight limit can be defined if it must, but for now it simply has to be a stable build that does not topple. Entries are to be posted in their own thread with up to three photos to showcase the MOC, not inclusive of the scale photo if required. Further photos can be shared in the MOC thread, indicated to be extra to the chosen entry pictures. A link for your Category B build must be shared here in order to be considered for the contest. Entries posted until 0:00 on 18/08/2023 will be eligible to enter. Discussion of the rules can take place Here. Entries may be frontpaged or shared on social media to promote the contest.
  2. Category C - Ride to Adventure: Some form of vehicle for an adventurer. From All terrain truck to Dog Sled, an adventurer has to get to their goal. This one allows for Digital Entries and figures that don't have to be Adventurer theme characters. The prize up for Grabs is 50 Euro to spend on LEGO sets on the LEGO online shop. 4. Welcome to the LEGO® and Eurobricks Turtle Competition Entry Thread To celebrate the coming release of the LEGO® Ideas Exo Suit by Peter Reid, The LEGO Group is teaming up with Eurobricks and we’re going turtle crazy! We invite you to build the coolest tiny turtle you can and submit it to our Turtle Competition! You can win a signed copy of the Exo Suit, a very cool Exo Suit T-shirt or maybe your turtle will be on an exclusive turtle poster that will be given only to those whose turtles are included or who attend the fan event at Skærbæk in September. Contest Rules The contest is open to all users 18 years and older holding a Eurobricks account. To submit an entry: Entrants must design and build a turtle (the creature). The turtle may be generic or based on any non-licensed LEGO theme. Additionally, it must fit onto an 8x8 stud square with no overhang. Your turtle must be photographed on plain white background. (please do not photograph the turtle on the base, the 8x8 base is just a size guideline). Multiple entries are allowed. Post each entry in a single post in this thread. Only one picture is allowed per entry, but you may link to other pictures (eg. on flickr). Text background to accompany your entry is allowed. Only official, unmodified LEGO® parts may be used: no clone brands or customs please. No decals are allowed, official or custom. No digital entries please. The contest begins July 15, 2014 at 15:00 Central European Time. The competition is open for submissions until August 10, 2014 at 15:00 CET. Entries submitted to Eurobricks after this date and time will not be accepted into the contest. Eurobricks members who joined on or before July 14, 2014 23:59 CET will be eligible to vote for their favourite entries between August 11 and August 24 2014. The top vote-getters will form a shortlist to be judged by The LEGO Group's jury between August 25-September 1. TLG reserve the right to include any turtles of our choosing in the final round. Winners will be announced September 5. This is a collaboration between The LEGO Group and Eurobricks. Both parties reserve the right to adjust these rules as necessary. Prizes 1st prize - Signed Exo Suit set and exclusive T shirt 2nd prize - Signed Exo Suit set 3rd prize - Exclusive t-shirt Runners-up (the number yet to be decided) will be included on a poster. The poster will be sent to all of those whose turtle makes the poster and will also be distributed as an exclusive gift at the Skærbæk Fan Event in Denmark in September. All entries will be entered in a raffle for a signed Exo Suit set (excluding the winners who receive a set). We ask that you please keep the set built in case further photography is required. The Jury will consist of: Peter Reid, creator of the Exo Suit Mark Stafford, the LEGO Designer who created the final model Karen Frost Sørensen, Project Manager, LEGO Ideas. Please read the rules in full here. If you have any questions, please ask in the Discussion Thread. Happy building!

Winners will receive a special tag!

  9. Eurobricks in collaboration with The LEGO Group is proud to present a new Direct to Consumer (D2C) Building Contest: Pimp My Camper! The idea is this: take the LEGO VW Mini-Camper and customise it! Create a theme version from any LEGO Theme - Star Wars, Friends, Pirates, Castle ... whatever takes your fancy! Make a Steampunk version, or a futuristic Sci-Fi camper! Give it legs or wings instead of wheels! Keep it firmly down to earth as a Town version, but just soup it up! The possibilities are endless. All we ask is that you keep the basic dimensions the same: the body must be no larger than the original (10 studs by 4 studs; height 13 plates) but reasonable overhang and appendages will be allowed; and the body must be recognisable as a VW Camper. Only LEGO elements may be used, but custom decals are permitted. You do NOT need to own the official LEGO version to build this. The instructions for the VW Mini-Camper are available to download and attached to the first post of the Discussion Thread. The Prizes (kindly provided by The LEGO Affiliate Programme) First Prize 10220 VW Camper + 40079 Mini VW Camper Four Runners-Up Prizes 40079 Mini VW Camper The Rules The contest is open to all Eurobricks members except staff. Members may enter as many models as they wish. There is no restriction on the number of parts. The model must be based a shell of around the same dimensions as the LEGO Mini-Camper: 10 studs long by 4 studs wide, 13 plates high and must be recognisable as a camper, but any further additions are permitted within reason so long as the result is a vehicle. There is no restriction on part count as long as the above criteria are fulfilled. Post your entries in this thread. Use a separate post for each entry. No other comments will be allowed in the entry thread - a separate thread will be provided for comments. Up to four photographs are allowed, maximum size 800x600 pixels, but you may link to a folder of further images. No digital backgrounds please. Text descriptions are encouraged and we recommend you describe the theme you have chosen. Use LEGO elements only: no clone brands or aftermarket products (BrickArms, BrickForge etc.). No cutting, sculpting, painting or other modifications of parts is allowed with the exception of flex-tubes which may be cut to the desired length but not modified in any other way. Custom decals are allowed as long as you have made them yourself. Official LEGO stickers may be used. No digital entries, diagrams or renders please. You may edit or adjust your entry up until the closing date. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to these rules or where any abuse of the spirit of the contest or of other members occurs. Closing Date for entries is 30 September 2013 Please use this thread for Contest entries ONLY. If you wish to comment on entries, use the comments thread provided. Discussion Thread Comments Thread Have fun, and good luck! 40079 Mini-Camper Instructions Attached to the first post of the Discussion Thread.
