  1. (Afoland Castle Game. Meronia) For a couple of weeks, King Edric had not seen his archmage, Odrimorn. He decided to visit him in the tower and find out what caused his absence. Entering the wizard's room, the king found Odrimorn, who was fumbling in the notes and muttering something. He kept talking about something inevitable, not paying attention to the king. Edric went up to him, touched him by the shoulders and asked why his old friend was so worried. Odrimorn came to his senses and told the king about his fears. All these days he has been haunted by disturbing dreams in which the lands of Meronia are in danger. Unfortunately, the source of the threat is not visible and there are no leads. Various spells and ancient scrolls also did not help shed light on the threat. One thing is clear - these are not just dreams, but something really is coming. We need to prepare... At the end, Odrimorn added: “You know who we need!

    [MOC] Mage Tower

It's been almost a year since I posted my tavern, so it's time to introduce the latest MOC. This time it's a magician's tower, inspired by Goethe's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". On one level of the tower, the water mage's apprentice made a "small" mistake in the summoning. The rooms were flooded and he just made it onto the balcony. The apprentice has not noticed that on the other side, the Kraken summoned into the tower is about to break out. The other mages of the tower have now gathered to defeat the beast. The Fire Mage has summoned an elemental, while the Storm Mage has taken to the skies and throws the first bolt of lightning towards the Kraken. The black mage has summoned a wraith to fight for him while the white mage is still gathering his power. The dryad has grown a tree so her elemental can fight at the right height. Despite the uproar, the astrologer has not allowed himself to be distracted from his studies. His power is certainly not needed that much... Meanwhile, the church has sent a stoic inquisitor and his two guardsmen. The water magician herself is at the market and hasn't noticed all the hustle and bustle. The tower is approx. 85cm high, unfortunately I don't know the number of parts used. The tower will be integrated into my medieval town, probably on a hill opposite the church. 3. A new LEGO custom minifigure that I have included into my collection. I am glad to show you the Kaligula. Kaligula was the Governor of one of the Northern Lands. He did not bring anything good to his lands during his reign that was cruel – reprisals, vice and immorality. He wrote himself into the bloodiest pages of the Lego Custom Undead World. Dark Forces quickly noticed a Tyrant carried away by Dark Magic and lured him to the Dark Side. Kaligula accepted the primacy of Darkness, quickly and brutally cracked down on the new ruler who took his place and continued his atrocities in his native lands in the form of the Terrible Dark Magician. No one else wanted to fight for power any more because he knew that he would be instantly destroyed by Kaligula who fiercely did not tolerate any rivals and always crack down on with them quickly and brutally, only feeling a threat to himself. The lands lost their Governor and faith in a bright future for a long time. Kaligula became a shadow overseer of his lands and the Army of Darkness got into its ranks another strong Magician controlling the part of the territory of the Kingdom. Kaligula custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides – Here. My latest customs on Eurobricks: Dark Wizard (Mage of the Army of Darkness) Ragmar, Elder Witch (also known as Mad Princess) Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure (Lego Scary Movie) Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall Warcraft Baba Yaga Custom Lego Minifigure (Russian Folk Tales) Soul Taker
  4. A new LEGO custom minifigure from Dark Fantasy theme that I have included into my collection. I am glad to show you the Dark Predictor. Magic Rope Staff and Bone Stick in hands. Star Robe, Rag Cloak and Royal Rune Headdress covering the body. Dark Predictor custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my YouTube Channel – Here. My latest customs on Eurobricks: Ragmar, Elder Witch (also known as Mad Princess) Hallow (Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure) Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall (World of Warcraft) Baba Yaga Custom Lego Minifigure (the witch, directly from Russian Folk Tales) Soul Taker (Skeleton Mage)
  5. Welcome, Friends! I am glad to present you my new handmade work – Guldan LEGO custom minifigure. Having grown up weak and sick, the sickly orc Gul'dan, once expelled from his native clan, will return later to wipe it off the face of the earth forever. Being rejected by the Spirits of the majestic remains – the Throne of the Elements, Guldan will hear a mysterious whisper which will later change the balance not only on Draenor but also far beyond its borders. It will make Guldan the most powerful orc warlock who will receive the immense power of fel magic and almost unlimited power overall in exchange for eternal service to the forces of Darkness. LEGO does not officially produce Lego Warcraft sets. But Lego series have Orcs, Trolls, Goblins, Dwarves, Elves and other fantasy characters. And LEGO fans have a fantasy. Therefore, Lego Warcraft fans have already been making Lego Customs on Warcraft for a long time. World of Warcraft is an amazing fantasy universe which is older than a lot of its fans. «Guldan», «fel magic» – everyone knows these words, even those who do not play computer games and those who are not interested in Fantasy themes. Warcraft is the universe for all time. Many years have passed since its inception, but the fans have not gone. Warcraft, without any doubt, is one of the pillars of fantasy worlds and deserves respect. I wanted to join this world once again by creating my own Guldan LEGO custom minifigure Guldan belongs to Shamans in the Lego Custom Undead Universe. Guldan custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides – Here. My latest customs on Eurobricks: Kaligula (the Governor of the Nothern Lands) Dark Wizard (Mage of the Army of Darkness) Ragmar, Elder Witch (also known as Mad Princess) Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure (Lego Scary Movie) Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall Warcraft Baba Yaga Custom Lego Minifigure (Russian Folk Tales) Soul Taker
  6. Lego Halloween – Custom Minifigure Welcome, friends! My new Lego Custom Minifigure – Hallow, a Sealed Mystic from my Lego Custom Undead Universe. I would say it better suits for Lego Halloween Theme. Thanks to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego customs. Lego Halloween is certainly an interesting topic for lovers of tickling their nerves – inhabitants buried under gravestones, bats, ghosts and transparent cubes. And certainly an indispensable attribute of the holiday and traditional decoration is a pumpkin lamp. Let's say «thank you» to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego custom minifigures. The holiday is firmly associated with supernatural. Rituals, horror stories, legends about ancestors, children wearing role-playing costumes with pumpkin lamps, and certainly clubs and Halloween parties for adults)) Super Holiday! The roots of the holiday go back to the tradition of the ancient Celts of Ireland and Scotland which is interesting in itself. We need to say a separate «thank you» to Halloween for Halloween's attributes that make this Holiday so atmospheric! Have a look at my Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure. I hope you will like it! The Lego Halloween custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel – Here. I've already customized more than 300 lego minifigures from the Lego Dark Fantesy Direction and the skeletons of the Army of Darkness. If you like my works, feel free to subscribe to follow me! 7. A place of knowledge and refuge, guarded by arcane power and a dragon. In the early stages of the war, it was the site of many councils between Avalonia commanders. It was here that the planning was carried out for the relief of Albion in the First Great War. The Citadel remained in the mages hands afterwards. Hope you like it. Thanks for watching. 8. My new custom lego minifigure – Soul Taker. Soul Eater is found in cult games and pearls of modern fantasy worlds such as Diablo, Skyrim, Dragon Age, Warcraft, Lineage and many others. Lasting the uncountable millennia, calming down, again inflaming in the new worlds, eternal war of forces of Light and Darkness, Angels and Demons, the Order and Chaos leads to emergence of the opponents much surpassing ordinary soldiers on both parties. Certainly, one of such generations of forces of Darkness is Soul Taker. Ordinary people are not lucky to live in the middle of this war in a hearth of never-ending battle. In attempts to survive or for the sake of finding of power some of them sign the contract with Darkness forces and come over to the side of the Evil, having started practicing dark magic. In a fantasy Universe of Lego Custom Undead Soul Taker comes to the world of living by killing his reviver – the Dark Wizard. Having taken control of the book of Soul Eater and also several artifacts which the Dark Wizard collected during the wanderings and search, Soul Eater begins the way in the world of the living with one purpose – to make this world the dead. Clever, cunning and artful, Soul Eater mastered a way allowing to release the opponent's soul and then to absorb her. It is difficult to stop Soul Eater who aimed at the enemy. Having chosen the victim, he promptly starts the feast. With his spells he practically immobilizes the victim, causes it severe physical and intolerable emotional pain. And then, when the victim is weakened, he takes away her soul, fills up the magic force and comes back to catacombs to continue his magic rituals. The Soul Taker custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel.
  9. This model started out as Vader's castle, a upcoming 2019 Star Wars set (number 75251). But I'm going to retrofit it for my Space stuff, specifically, the home of my techno-mage, Analog and his fellow band of runaway rouges from the corrupt Space Police IV regime. My backstory for the building is as follows: The Black Castle and the planet it sits on were once the epicenter of a ancient mega-empire of aliens from an age long past, known as the First Ones. They were ended nearly three billion years ago in a cataclysmic event simply known as The Great Event. Their Empire was besieged by a entity from beyond time itself, possibly from another dimension altogether, which turned the entire city world the castle sits on into a volcanic wasteland, with the shining ivory tower turned black and scarred, it's water feature turned to lava, in a final battle to destroy the evil entity, in which the empire's defender's succeeded, but only just barely. The empire, which spanned the entire LEGO galaxy, fell completely apart without the capital planet. Local species rose up to take over their own planets in time, but by that point any traces of the old empire were only a widespread myth.... except for the legend of the Black Castle. You many know it as the legend of Atlantis, as that was the name of the home planet / city before it fell apart into the volcanic wasteland. (The eons of time and many translation errors may have gotten the name of the method of it's destruction wrong, but it still sank into a sea of liquid, right?) More recently, rouge Blacktron III scientists stumbled across the castle, and set up shop there, performing experiments using equipment from the castle's ancient, - yet still very highly advanced - medical bay on unlucky captives, creating techno-mages, changelings, and many more things that would make even Dr. Frankenstein weep. In a desperate move, these captives rose up from their shackles and destroyed the all the Blacktron that knew of the Castle, thus keeping it's location secret. This ramshackle group still keeps the castle for their own, with group leader Analog and his car Shatter-point running supplies, new recruits, and news back and forth across enemy lines to and from safe houses and the castle. This space base is not complete, as it is lacking set 75251, (Darth Vader's castle) which is supposed to go in the bottom left corner. But until that set is recreated in LEGO Digital Designer, this will have to do. The base model you see here is an amalgamation of several sets, including 75098 (Assault on Hoth) for the blast doors, 75203 (Hoth Medical Chamber) for the medical bay, 7879 (Hoth Echo Base) for the sensor array and gun rack, and 8089 (Hoth Wampa Cave) for the secret exit. Also, the control booth is a custom made design that was pulled from my imagination. As you may have guessed, this base was originally set on Hoth or a similar ice planet, and was mostly colored white instead of dark tan and dark gray volcanic one it sits on now. (This model has been seriously gone through to be 100% build-able in the chosen colors as shown.) This medical bay has three recharge ports for techno-mages to sleep / recharge and connect to the base computer at, if they wish. The healing tube is for those too seriously injured for the wearable healing suits, such as those missing entire limbs or over 60% 3rd degree fire burns. The mailbox is also in this section, though as this is a secret base, it is unused. The base's brain and nervous center is the control booth, which control everything in the base, from the blast doors to the hallway lights. The huge windows overlook the base's hanger, where the hover-car known as Shatter-point usually is parked. The sensor array is highly tuned to be nearly undetectable to enemies sweeping the star system looking for civilized worlds. It is also able alert the base to long range threats, so they can shut down and go silent, just in case something picks up the scouts interest and they land a probe team on the planets surface. (usually when such a thing happens, they officially "lose contact" with the orbiting ship due to "radio interference" of "volcanic clouds" and are never seen again. In reality, they are physically eliminated by ground forces after radio contact is lost due to the sensor array imitating the clouds. The orbiting ship then assumes the lava has swallowed the team up and moves on to another planet.) The hover car is a mashup of set 5973 (Hyperspeed Pursuit) and a fantastic MOD of set 70907 (Killer Croc Tail-Gator) by user @hachiroku24 as seen here. Fictional background info: This craft (named Shatter-point) was originally owned by the criminal aliens known as the Skull Twin, and was sold at auction to a man known as "The Collector", back before the dark times began. Eventually, the heavily remodeled hover sedan was given to The Collector's young techno-mage friend just before the Collector disappeared into the bowels of the capital city planet to escape the Space Police IV and it's corrupt ways. The techno-mage (known as "Analog" for his love of pre-computer revolution machinery, like record players and radio tubes), then discovered the truth about his friend The Collector. The Collector ran an underground railroad-like system of resistance groups to the SP IV regime and the OCTAN Super Secret Police program, which was headquartered in the volcanic remains of the long-lost city of Atlantis at the Black Castle and had subsequently given Analog the job of keeping the secret railroad running in his absence. Together with unlikely allies, menacing foes and possible double agents, Analog will work to restore freedom for his friends, expose great tyrannies in the OCTAN Corp and in his rag-tag group, and all the while running from the law for the reason of just existing! The car was synced up to Analog's tech implants and made to be an extension of his mind, up to the point of having it's own artificial intelligence by itself, calling itself "Shatter-point" after it's supreme hacking abilities and it's ability to fly better than even cyborg pilots, leading to shattering blockades(and pursuing ships) into a thousand pieces. The vehicle can seat one figure comfortably in the drivers seat. The vehicle also features clean nuclear energy provided by a Mister Fusion (patent-pending!) reactor run by scrap metal. The car's roof opens up to place a figure at the controls. (the canopy doesn't actually stay up like shown, but is being held up by my finger just out of frame.) As usual, Comments, Questions, and Complaints are always welcome! EDIT 1/31/18: added new car pictures, working on updating the building's screenshots. EDIT 2/7/18: I just finished revising the building to be like set 4996 but in red... real pictures of the building coming soon! EDIT 10/9/18: add castle and backstory to the main post. more pictures coming eventually (hopefully soon!) EDIT 10/10/18: added full base to first post

  11. Hello everyone, I recently bought a copy of set 76108 - Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown, with the only intent to turn the Sanctum Sanctorum part into a modular building. I had liked it from the moment I saw it, and liked it even more when I saw the first mods that added another floor. So that's what I did. I bought the set without the figures, so I got it pretty cheap. That also provided a nice excuse to come up with a new backstory for it . More on that with the pictures... Diverging from my usual modus operandi, I didn't plan anything ahead this time. Since I had bought a couple of sets for parts over the last year, and also have a lot of pieces left over from all the modulars, creator houses I slaughtered to get parts for my previous MOCs, I just sat down with my parts collection and the set and started building. I finished the entire thing in less than a week, and had lots of fun doing it. While it can be maddening when you miss one part, building with bricks and sifting through your parts get's the creative juices flowing quite differently than planning in LDD. I'd estimate that the finished model consists of maybe 1500-1750 pieces (I used lots of large panel pieces for the side walls). There's no instructions, and no LDD file. If you prefer to view the pictures directly on flickr, clikc here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/131278188@N08/albums/72157693939752522 There's also a few more than I show here. The front facade is pretty much unchanged from the set, only set on a standard baseplate according to modular specs, and extended by one additional floor. I was pretty much scraping together all medium dark flesh bricks I had for the additional floor. Still had to use three dark orange bricks to complete it, but it works out fine, I think. The back went through several iterations. It takes some cues from the front, but is plainer. Detail view of the small balcony up on the top floor. Inside, we see the self-proclaimed mage that lives here. The ground floor has a dazzingly red floor. Had these tiles on hand, didn't know what to do with them, so in they went... Otherwise, it looks normal enough...cozy armchair under the stairs in front of a large TV... ... small kitchen area and a place to eat. The second floor houses the mage's bed- and bathroom. Still, nothing too out of the ordinary to see here. Wondering what's in the chest? Me, too...unfortunately, she keeps it locked at all times. Next floor... For the first time, we meet the mage. When you ask her what she's doing, she'll go on about how she's tapping into the arcane lifeforce that surrounds us and permeates everything. She does "research" on which materials are a good source for it (or "congenial vessels of the earthmother's pulse", as she puts it), and how it can be extracted. If you ask her neighbours about her, they'll say things like "Oh, her?! She's just batshit crazy! Let's just hope that when she eventually burns down her house, the fire department gets here before the fire spreads!". We have arrived on the top most floor. Here, the self-proclaimed mage does her 'experiments', which usually involve grinding and burning stuff. As on the floor below, the shelves are packed with arcane books, some merele esoteric, and some pretty occult. They also contain precious artefacts she collected over the years - usually paying way too much for them at yard sales... Finally here's a comparison shot with the Pet Shop: Looks a bit too high, or maybe the Pet Shop is just too small... There, better So, that's it . Hope you like it, let me know what you think! As I said there's a few more pics on flickr, so check them out: https://www.flickr.com/photos/131278188@N08/albums/72157693939752522 Cheers, Tobias / Roger_Smith
  12. Hello and welcome! Here's my latest MOC, in which I experimented with colours currently somewhat defunct in LDD that I attempted to restore. The Axen Octet is a congregation of eight spirits sent forth upon Earth by Sepulchure. The group never parts and accomplishes tasks jointly, materialising out of thin air and disappearing just as swiftly. The characteristic trait shared by all axenocts is a single unblinking eye, roughly level with the shoulders. The Octet always moves in complete silence, communicating through means not known to man. Upon appearance, each spirit takes physical form with is retained until retreat - the form has been reported to consist of metal-like material on the outside, as reported by those lucky enough to overhear or survive a battle. Each axenoct is entrusted with the task of observation, but on specific occasions they bear instructions of carnage and destruction, which is when their axes come to prominent use. The carnages are exactly the reason the Octet - and their axes that brought about the name - are so dreaded by those who know anything about these spirits. Some have linked the instances of their appearance to the passing of the Emissary of Sepulchure, however these rumours remain unconfirmed. The Knight Well-armoured, fast and bearing a heavy axe, this axenoct posesses ram-like capabilities and is often seen at the forefront of an attack formation heading for a fortified target. With a shield to deflect attacks and a pair of bells hanging off its shoulder, the forewarning sound of which alone is enough to intimidate most, the Knight is a force to be reckoned with. The Duke This moderately-armoured axenoct towers above all in height and handles a halberd-like axe that gives it a great range in combat. Another tactical advantage to the Octet stems from the Duke's ability to self-illuminate and effectively blind the enemies, overall making this axenoct an important strategic asset during assaults. Its calm nature also makes it a good observer and, possibly, strategist. The Demon The fiercest of the bunch, this blank-eyed axenoct carries the fearsome double-bladed axe with a handle shaped like a trident, neither of which the Demon is shy to employ. If that was not enough, it carries out its assaults with intense rage, spitting forth bursts of flame and soon turning the area into a towering inferno. The Imp While not as intimidating as its elder "brother", this axenoct bears no good news. Possessing no special abilities and welding only a basic axe, this minion is often sent on mundane tasks to act as support and to carry out minor carnage. Despite its lack of fire mastery, the Imp can occasionally - albeit uncontrollably - release a ball of fire, which on many occasions has been sufficient to start serious fires. The Magus The smallest member of the Octet is not to be overlooked. Although neither its figure, nor its axe suggest the ability to wreak havoc, it is the other end of the axe that is used in deploying energies known and not-so-known to man. A rumour has it that the artifact on this axenoct's right arm has something to do with its abilities, and that it is indeed the Magus who facilitates the sudden appearances and vanishing of the Octet. The Teitan This axenoct's slow speed and somewhat humorous appearance are swiftly wiped out of the enemies' minds with the heaviest of axes dropping on their houses, heads and other kinds of property. Extremely heavy armour and an immeasurably heavy axe that doubles as a shield - and the ability to handle the aforementioned gear - have reaped the Teitan the reputation of a true titan. A lethal opponent in both attack and defense. The Spectre This ghastly axenoct sports a ghost-like appearance, and to the demise of its targets handles the most dreadful weapon among the Octet members - the spectral axe, capable of severing and entrapping living souls. Physical damage can also be dealt with it, albeit to a lesser extent, but its main capability is what makes the targets tremble and run as far as possible before giving the Spectre a chance to hit them. Which is where the chains come in handy... The Wraith This axenoct is the true dread machine that both looks and functions the part. Being of spooky appearance, with the habit of camouflaging itself and then jumping the victim, the Wraith is also the fastest of all axenocts. Before the threat is even realised, the deadly long-hilt axe is sent swinging in every direction faster than an eye can follow, truly making it the perfect device for intimidation and spreading panic. The entire Axen Octet. A rare sight best avoided altogether... Thank you for your attention, and I hope you enjoyed your stay!

  16. Phase 1: Sparring: Trying out the clear plates and olive leaves bandwagon!
