  1. In memory of Benua Sokal IMG_20220322_164231 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr I wanted to publish this MOC on the day of the release of Stberia: The World Before, but... well, it's better later than never. MOC consists not only of Locomotive itself, but also of rails, train platform with wind-up station and Yukols' Winch which was used by Kate to pull the train into the cave in the second game. IMG_20220321_102639 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr The train itself has three important features. First - it tries to look as close as possible to the one from the game. IMG_20220322_211220 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr IMG_20220321_103140 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Second - it really IS a clockwork train. It has two pull-back motors in the rear section and an intricate mechanism, which consists of gearing up and flywheel so the spring can unwind slowly and clutch, so you can wind-up spring with no need to drive wheels backwards Trainsmission by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr The lever in the cabin engages the clutch and the lever above the right bumper locks and unlocks pullback motors' driveshaft IMG_20220321_103034 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Third - it has a linear actuator on the inside which pushes out what should be a steam generator exhaust as it was seen in the second game. To drive the actuator you have an axle which can only be driven with a special voralberg's key IMG_20220321_103556 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr IMG_20220321_102654 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr IMG_20220321_103604 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Stand on the platform has an axle which winds up the train. To push it into the pull-backs' shaft you turn the lever on the left of the stand IMG_20220321_103322 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Finally, the winch is just a nice looking winch Here is the video: I hope, you liked this train and I hope you like the game of Syberia

    [MOC]#76 Racing Arcade Machine

LEGO MOC#76 Racing Arcade Machine. When I saw the screen panel in the #10731 set, I immediately associate it with a racing arcade machine. Therefore, I designed this MOC. If you are interested to build one, you can watch the instruction video: More MOC on my homepage: https://www.bricksboy.com/moc

    [MOC] Age of Empires

These are actually old designs by me, which I have resubmitted on Lego Ideas, so if you like these mocs, please support on: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/3d35d6a4-9261-4dbf-af20-533b0b7bac8d https://imgur.com/ij7skqQ
  6. Always loved the unique design of the Arwings from Starfox. Many cool Arwing MOCs already out there but with this I especially aimed for the classic blocky design from the original game (which is the best, imo) and I tried to keep it as small and simple but also as recognizable and playable as possible. Now that Lego has partnered with Nintendo a Lego Starfox franchise might be a thing?!?

  9. Let me introduce you to my latest creation. I put it on the Lego Ideas website : Dominoes box Play dominoes and lego at the same time ! This Lego set includes a small storage box and 28 dominoes. The box can be closed completely and the 28 dominoes can be easily stored on three levels, 8 dominoes at the bottom of the box and 10 dominoes on each of the other two levels. A play mat completes the set. This creation allows domino lovers to play and is a beautiful object for lovers of beautiful Lego creations. Thank you for your feedback :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/cd68de34-2484-4a5e-b6d7-6bf2116f93d6 Dominoes box by Galerie d'Antha, sur Flickr
  10. Flameo my fellow Avatar fans, I’m a huge fan of ATLA and I need your help. Recently I have submitted a project on LEGO IDEAS, it's the Spirit Oasis from Avatar: The Last Airbender. As you might know LEGO IDEAS is a website which allows users to submit ideas for Lego products to be turned into potential sets. So If my project reaches 10.000 supporters it may become an official LEGO Product. Many Avatar Fans including me would love to purchase another LEGO ATLA Set since the original sets from 2006 are not available anymore. Check out my project: The Spirit Oasis Project on LEGO IDEAS All you need to do is press the support button and create a free LEGO Account if necessary. Thanks a lot, Every supporter counts!
  11. Hello everyone! Earlier this month I made a close 1:1 scale Sony PlayStation 2. It includes 1626 pieces, and it has features like an openable disc tray and an interior. The build took over a month to design and build. The console is based on to SCPH-30001 model of the original PS2, and this model includes a heatsink, motherboard, optical disc drive and a power supply board, which are removable. The model also includes an expansion bay. The controller was the biggest challenge to make, as the controller has handles and overall a bit complicated shape, but I am happy on how it turned out. I decided to include a disc just for the disc tray feature. The vertical stand was sold as a separate accessory, but I decided to include it if the model was to be displayed vertically. The stand doesn't have the best build but it was the best I could do. I hope you liked it, and if so, consider supporting it on LEGO Ideas. 12. Molly Jackson was walking with her husband Brad through the town square to her book club with their child when she had a bad feeling. "Babe," she said. She was right. A masked figure, wearing a non-descript, no game-giving away (no clues in pictures) banana outfited figure attacked them. "What are you doing?!" Molly shrieked. "Oh no!" her husband screamed as he was hit multiple times. "It's stale! I'm being beaten by a stale croissant! This is some fabuland-style deaths!" And then, the figure ran away. Molly ran to her husband, leaving their child unattended in the carriage. "Who was it? Did you see who it was?" "It was..." Brad started," It was..." And then Brad expired. "No!!!" Molly screamed. "That's it, Barbara! I knew it was you this time. That was my fourth damn husband you've killed! I was so close to making it onto Desperate Wives of South Dayton with my book club, but you were too jealous! Your knitting club has to take precedence. I knew you've been after me since the poisoning of my second husband! You'll see!" Molly went to work. She quickly removed the town fountain and established a podium, raising her above the group. She said, "Fellow book club members, we have been infiltrated! After the death of my second husband, I've been cautious of people like Barbara Melvin. i refuse to be like her. She sent someone to kill my darling fourth hubby. And the only way she was successful was by having rats in my perfect bookclub. She sent her own knitting club members into here to spy on us. It's time for us to find out who is a traitor and who is loyal to me and being hip with reading. The Rules 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Book Club (Town) or the Knitting Club (Scum). To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Scum, while the Scum needs to outnumber the Town. Third-party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting is mandatory. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. Failure to vote will incur a 2-vote penalty the following game day. 3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached after 72 hours. After the day has been concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 20 hours of the night stage. 3.5. Players may not target the same player two nights in a row, and may not target themselves. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the "Off-hour"/night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next "Hour"/day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to or from you in PM with the game host, or in PM with any other players. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. 13. Mrs. Molly Jackson is the head of the town bookclub. She loves reading and is desperate to remain young and hip. But as she gets up there in age, she realizes she gets closer and closer to living in a rest home with the old and grouchy Mrs. Barbara Melvin the Granny who runs the dreaded Knitting Club. Gross! Normally, she wouldn't mind, but Molly has caught wind that some of her bookclub members (and their significant others and kids) might be joining the Knitting Club and are aiming to destroy the bookclub from the inside out! Come play and help Molly root out the scum, or be a scum and make sure knitting becomes the favorite past time of the town! 1) Have you ever played Mafia before, and what's your experience? If not, have you read some of the games we've had on here? 2) Can you commit to the game timewise? 3) What do you prefer to read? The game is designed for 10-12 people. After that, we'll have a reserve list. For your convenience, the rules (modified and stolen from Kintobor, who in turn stole from def) have been attached below, so everyone knows what they're getting into. The Rules 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Book Club (Town) or the Knitting Club (Scum). [GAME] Classic Space Adventure

I hope that it is ok to make a post about a game that I have created (perhaps some of you already have played it). The game is called Classic Space Adventure and is a free web game programmed in HTML5 that you play in your browser (Chrome or Firefox) using your keyboard. It is inspired by the Classic Space theme so you will notice many of these sets in the game. You can play the game here, or check out the webpage for the game here. There is also a Facebook page for this game and it would be appreciated if you wanted to follow it. I make posts about the game there now and then. In total there are more then 60 different characters and enemies, and the game takes approxamately 4-5 hours to finish. It is written in the programming language Javascript and took me about two years resulting in almost 400 pages of code. The music I have composed in Famitracker, a program where you can create Nintendo 8-bit music. Hope you will enjoy it and let me know if you have any questions regarding the game! Below are some of the sets that you will find in the game that I have recreated in a pixelated style. This was how the game looked like at the very beginning of the development, compared to when it was finished in 2018/19. The resolution was lower and with much fewer details and colors. Here are some of the enemies that I have built in real LEGO. For most of the enemies and characters in the game I built them first in real LEGO-bricks. Box-Kloss is the first boss you will encounter! For the game I also needed to develop a game editor where I can easily build each level by just placing bricks, characters and enemies where I want them. It is not that pretty though. :)
  17. Previously on 24 Mafia... Jack pulled Officer Lewis into the interrogation room for some "questioning." "Where's the bomb? WHERE'S THE BOMB?" Jack asked quietly and then demanded in a loud voice. "What bomb?" asked the security guard. "Isn't it just moles?" "Damn it, we're running OUT OF TIME!" The lead CTU agent slammed his fists on the stainless steel table. "There's no cameras in here, I removed them against protocol, so I can do what I want. So tell me what you know." Barry received an IM that somebody wanted to meet him in the armory. So he went. What could go wrong? A lot. A lot could go wrong... and did. "Oh it's you." The analyst began to feel very uncomfortable. "Oh come on," the figure said. "It's not going to be that bad." THWACK! Poor Barry's skull was bashed in (can they show that blood on network tv?) At the top of the hour, Jack called people into the bullpen. "Well we've got good news and bad news." Everyone waited for Jack to continue. "The good news is, I still have my interrogation skills. The bad news is both Barry and Officer Lewis were CTU. This can't happen. How are we supposed to protect the country when there are moles in CTU? Did I mention I also had an affair with one?" 18. The following creations were built to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 1999 Lego Racers computer game. Pieces new and old have come together to form these newly revised versions of the 8 boss cars. Please enjoy! 1) Captain Redbeard As you can see, Captain Redbeard's new ride uses the microbuild of his ship from set #40290 as a base for this off-road beast of a racer. But it still retains the large exhausts and rear mounted pirate flag from his original car. The sails make this the tallest vehicle in the collection so far. .
  19. *Clock ticking* The following takes place between the beginning of sign ups and the end of it. Events occur in real time. Some moles have infiltrated CTU, The Counter Terrorist Unit headed up by Jack Bauer, the man who famously does not eat or use the restroom as he solves world problems in a single day. He needs help finding the moles who would do the world harm. Are you up to the task? Or are you one of the moles? 20. As you may know, 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the Lego Racers computer game. I doubt that Lego themselves will do anything to celebrate it (I mean, there's still no word on the progress of The Billion Brick Race) Which is why I want to. And here's a little preview of how I choose to start the celebration.... Yup, as you can see, I have created a modernised version of Rocket Racer's car. I've also done the other 7 boss cars too which will be revealed on January 2019. Also, I can finally reveal that over the past couple of years, I have commissioned MINIFIGS.ME to create custom minifigures of both Rocket Racer and Veronica Voltage. (As you can tell by the helmet.) I hope you will enjoy the other racers as they come. And don't worry, the final photos will be in much better quality. I just wanted to make a flashy teaser image with my blue lighting, that's all! I also want to host a contest themed around this wonderfully unique kart racer! Would anyone be interested in entering if I started one?

    Tlachtli; The Aztec Game

I thought I would post a build from a month ago here to get the hang of how to post pictures. This was made for the Summer Joust, and I built the way I thought the Aztec game of Tlachtli might look. Hope you like it! An athletic player takes a shot for the ring! Comments and critiques are appreciated!
  24. How come LEGO Universe never got a line of sets? Considering it had a story, the factions and the Nexus could have been the main focus, with spare pieces to use on customizing minifigures. Heck, when the game was out, I envisioned LEGO adding a line where you could buy packs of minifigures that featured different weapons, armor, clothes, and accessories that either fit into LU generally or where part of a faction, like a proto-Minifigure line. I forget if my idea was based around mystery bags or not, but another idea I had was a set that had a collection of minifigures and small builds with tons of weapons and armor from in-game like the boxed collections of minifigures. But childhood ramblings aside, why didn't they promote it like they did with the LEGO Movie with sets? At the very least they could have added onto the price like it was a licensed line and diverge the extra money to the game itself to pay for moderators and admins (maybe even give some free time in the game so kids could try out the wider game, and maybe give their characters a collection of pieces to add to their existing collection in the freebuild islands, cars, and rockets). I remember seeing all the cool gear you could get in-game and how cool the enemies looked, and wondered why they didn't at least make the pieces available in some smaller line so kids (i.e. me and my friends) could use them in their builds and allow them the feeling of making stuff in the game. Wouldn't you like making a mech while having official pieces that had your faction logo and had a 1-to-1 recreation of your actual character's appearance and high-level gear with his pet skunk co-piloting? The only reason I say this is because there were instances where elements would show up in LU and there wouldn't be any real life equivalent, either because the designers took liberties with the pieces and their connections (even though ironically some could have been made real easily as the pieces were just edits of existing ones) or because they designed stuff, like the faction and enemy pieces, that don't have a clean, official real life counterpart. I don't even care if LU can't come back as an MMO, considering how hard it is to run a family friendly one without the world's best team of mods, admins, and (because it's LEGO) software algorithms, but considering how popular it was in general, making the move to sets and another medium for story, like a single player/local multiplayer game, tv show, or full line of comics wouldn't be outside the realm of a possible success. And it wouldn't have even been a bad idea to release the full code (I wouldn't even care if I had to pay for it) for the game to more easily let its own community continue hosting the game by letting them set up their own servers a la Minecraft. I just feel that there was too much wasted when the game ended and TLG left it fully in the dust with little to nothing salvaged.
  25. Yes, it's finally happened! And I'm surprised no one has done it before, especially considering how many Flappy Bird clones have been made... If you only want to download the game, click the image below, otherwise just keep reading... I've been wanting a Lego version of Flappy Bird ever since I found out about it, I hadn't planing on making it myself, but after I started learning Unity (after trying GDevelop), I decided I needed a nice simple project to get started with, and that I could easily finish (unlike my previous Miniform game, which I have put on hold for now). It was then that I remembered about my "Bricky Bird" idea, so I searched for a simple tutorial to have as a guide (this one), and once I understood that, I got to work... That was 2 weeks ago... Now, it's almost finished* - I've recreated all the main stuff from the original game in Lego using MLCad, written all the code from scratch, and edited all the images pixel by pixel... But anyway, enough talking, time to show you the game! (and it's nowhere near as bad as my last game ) Screenshots: More screenshots in spoiler below: I have so far only made this game for Android, as it's much better suited for a touchscreen. You can download the ZIP file (which contains the APK file) by clicking the link below or the image at the top of the page. Download - Current version (0.8.4): https://bricksafe.com/files/mocbuild101/my-games/bricky-bird/Bricky Bird v0.8.4 (Beta1).apk.zip Software used: MLCad - for making the models. GIMP - for editing all the images. Unity (free) - the main game engine. Additional features added: (not in the original game) Parallax scrolling (google it if you don't know what it is ) *I will hopefully be adding some more extra features of my own soon, to make it less of a clone, and more my own game. That's all for now, go play the game! - and don't forget to comment if you like it!
