  1. With Star Wars Celebration going on right now, I thought it would be a good time to make a fun little Star Wars MOC, so I imagined what Star Wars themed mighty micros would look like. Star Wars Mighty Micros by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr The most fun part about this project was making the minifigs. I used some of the older, simpler torsos as they are a great fit for the cartoony style of the Mighty Micros. Superman's and Wonder Woman's heads were perfect for Han and Leia, and Aang's head fit surprisingly well for Luke. There wasn't much I could do for Boba and Vader, but I was able to use Hobgoblin's over-exaggerated face for the Emperor. Unfortunately the only white short legs come in the Gremlins set which I don't have, so I had to use gray for Leia, but I think it kind of works. SWMM Minifigs by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Let's take a closer look at the sets! First up we have the showdown between the Skywalkers: Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader. Vader's car resembles his TIE Advanced while Luke is driving a wheeled version of his Landspeeder. SWMM: Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr SWMM: Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Next we have Han Solo in his tiny Millennium Falcon being chased by Boba Fett in his Slave I car. SWMM: Han Solo vs. Boba Fett by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr SWMM: Han Solo vs. Boba Fett by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Lastly, we have a recreation of the opening scene of A New Hope with Princess Leia being chased by a Star Destroyer which in this case is piloted by the Emperor. SWMM: Princess Leia vs. Emperor Palpatine by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr SWMM: Princess Leia vs. Emperor Palpatine by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Let me know what you think and what other themes you'd like to see in the Mighty Micros style. And may the force be with you.
  2. Totally inspired by Sariel's Mini Cooper videos, I present 42043: Crawler edition! Features 4x4 drive and steering while retaining the functionality of the cabin. Thanks so much for checking it out! C&C PLEASE! BrickbyBrick
  3. Jamie Davis Heavy Rescue is a towing company based in Hope, BC Canada (about 2 hours from where I live) whose main operations are on the Coquihalla Highway and are featured on the TV Show "Highway Thru Hell". I posted my Jamie Davis Rotator back in 2014 and said I wanted to eventually try to do the same truck in 7 wide. After seeing 4000022 I wanted to try to use those techniques on a new 7 wide truck but around that same time, I heard that Jamie had sold his prized truck the Rotator. When Season 5 of the show started airing last fall I started building the next biggest truck in his fleet which is even newer, a 50-ton Tri-Drive Western Star along with a smaller tandem unit and a Toyota Tundra for Traffic Control. Heavy Rescue 117 is a Western Star Tri-Drive Century tow truck with stabilizers, and a side puller (3rd winch on the driver's side). Used for recovering Semi-Trucks and other large vehicles. HR 116 is a Western Star Tandem Tow Truck with sleeper cab. Smaller than 117, but tandems can do just a much work as the biggest trucks. IR 104 is an Incident Response Truck for flagging traffic control. Toolbox in bed. Dispatched to secure accidents before the bigger trucks arrive or roadside service to smaller passenger vehicles. Full Album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/tim_tosino/albums/72157681702229046 Still working on Al Quiring's Truck aka "The Green Monster" which is unit as big as 117 and a VSA Highway Maintenance Snow Plow (all in 7 wide) and I may just tackle Jamie's Newest Truck HR 126 (which hasn't made an appearance on TV yet) in time for our local con (http://www.brickcan.com)

    [MOC] Hot Springs Keeper

My friend challenged me to make a MOC using hockey bodies as the base, so I cranked out this centaur. He watches over a sacred hot spring high in the mountains, and has both fire and water powers. His weapons stow neatly on a double pin at the base of his torso. I couldn't find a fourth blue Toa Mata foot, so for now I'm substituting a white one in. This is my first MOC using "double" limbs, and I'm very happy with how sturdy it makes the legs. He's still a handful to pose, though. The play action is pretty simple, opposite-swinging arms like in lots of Mata and Nuva figures. Building the gearbox itself was tricky, but I'm very pleased with how the Matoran feet pieces and angled knob axle worked out. The connection between the two hockey bods is nice and sturdy, and the whole torso feels very solid. Here he is with Kopaka for size comparison. He's big enough to ride! Come to think of it... Saddle up! Onward to victory! All in all, I'm very happy and excited about the way this MOC turned out. The legs are a little finicky, but the details and construction reflect what I think is some of my best work. He still needs a name, though! You can view more pictures over at my Bricksafe. Critique would be very much appreciated!

MOC: City Train Passenger Car #1

I finally took the plunge and bought my first PF train set. And I'm not ashamed to say I'm now addicted to making train things in LDD and Stud.io. Here's my first completed train car. A passenger car to match the colors of the Cargo Train set engine. As always (well most of the time), the build guide is available at charlesp.org

    [MOC] Jedha

Hello! Today I want to present you my newest MICROFIGHTER MOC. It is my entry for round 2 of the MOC-Olympics-Contest at my German LUG. A base of 32x32 was the limit. For this MOC I also created two new Microfighters, an AT-ST and a hovertank. What do you think about this? I hope you like the city of Jedha as much as I do. Two mechs [MOC]

And so mechbuilds begin. This first one is a more mobile suit with twin napalm throwers. Secondary weapons are anti tank missiles on the shoulders.. The second one is a medium class mech with a much more heavier arsenal. Equipped with long range missiles at the chest and short range missiles at the hip. Hip cannon that has heavy armor piercing rounds. Arm mounted medium lasers.

    Temple guardian [MOC]

Here's another moc i made. This one is just showcasing the rare mask i have. Every limb is twin jointed. It was pretty flexible and sturdy mechanically. Heavily armored too. A mysterious figure is watching.. Oh i also wanted to add, all my mocs are already disassembled. I tend to build them and then disassemble them immediately after pics are taken. If you want to ask anything, i'll try to remember what i did back when i had this moc.

    Easter Bunny and Egg

It is soon Easter, so what would be more appropriate than building something for the season? This time I have tried to venture into the theme of BrickHeadz: The bunny is almost following the BrickHeadz standard. I took the liberty to place the eyes a stud higher, and let the belly drop a bit in the front. The egg is similarly squared to stay in the style of the theme. It is decorated by my girlfriend. Here is an additional photo with the tail should you want to build your own: Happy Easter :)
  13. Hello, I thought I'd share my creation, the Defender-class light corvette, with you guys! I had tried my hand at replicating the corvette in LEGO before news leaked of the official set and subsequently stopped improving my own design, hoping the TLG version would be as awesome as the Fury had been. Alas when the pictures finally leaked last week, I couldn't help but be disappointed. So I present to you now my own (finished) design; My favorite shot. The crew and view of the ramp and landing gear. It's a bit impractical but I really wanted to include a ramp for my figs, so the corvette sits a bit higher than I'd like. The landing gear itself also folds up neatly (forgot to take a picture of that). The pilot's seat can rotate so he can actually get out and take a nap when I'm not looking. The medical beds can slide out so the injured can be transported safely, or they would anyway if those damn troopers would stop watching TV and let them pass. A picture of the "airlock" hatch open. The floor slides out revealing sweet sweet death or maybe a space station airlock if they're lucky. The engines where the hardest for me to translate into LEGO, I'm quite happy with the final result. Maybe some trans blue dishes though. My creation's approximate dimensions are; 41 studs long (not counting laser cannon tips), 34 studs wide and 13 studs high (with landing gear folded up). It consists of 1222 (or 1226 once they update the parts list) parts, not including minifigs and weapons. You can download the "instructions" here. I've used normal red as a junk color so those bricks can be any color. Also if you're building it replace the yellow 1x4 tiles with the 1x4 light bley stud plates. Thanks for taking an interest, khatmorg, on Flickr
  14. Full post here Hello everyone! I built this MOC a while back but completely forgot to post it. But better late than never, so enjoy! This is a Modular Building MOC. The lower level is a Chinese Restaurant while the upper level is an Indian Restaurant. Overview of the entire Modular Building There is a fence around the building. The stairway leads to the Indian Restaurant. There are opening windows. Here’s the back view. It’s a lot plainer but there are still opening windows for the Indian Restaurant’s kitchen. This is the interior of the Indian Restaurant. The floor is made of Nexo Knight shield tiles. Here’s the kitchen of the Indian Restaurant. It’s rather cramp. The chef is using some of his spices. Here is the interior of the Chinese Restaurant. It has a checkered floor. Looks like someone just ordered rice! The chef is working hard! Look at the yummy ducks in the back C&C welcome as always! Thanks for looking!

  17. Another reveal from my Sydney Brick Show CS layout, the LL351 Conquest. The LL351 Conquest is the flagship of the CS fleet. Equipped with four hyper-drive engines the LL351 is capable of exploring the furthest reaches of the galaxy. With plenty of weaponry the Conquest is able to defend itself with ease and provide protection for other ships in the CS fleet. In addition to the ships four crew members there is also a planetary scooter that can be launched from the ship for short range reconnaissance missions.

    [MOC] Classic Space P.M.R.

For this year's Sydney Brick Show at the end of April I'm doing a classic space layout. This is one of the vehicles that will be on display. P.M.R. - Planetary Mining Rover The Planetary Mining Rover is a mass produced rover used extensively throughout the galaxy. The equipped dual drilling arms are capable of breaking through some of the toughest materials known to man. A cargo compartment in the rear of the rover enables the P.M.R. to transport materials back to base. I hope to get some pictures of some of the other vehicles online over the next few weeks.

  20. I was hoping to be the first. Not quite done but now there are others I will share.
  21. My latest modular is a townhouse with a shop of the first floor. There is no interior for this one yet. I have a few modular buildings in the works and I don't know when I'll get back to this one to fill out the interior. I'm thinking of making it an Optometrist office, but I'd be interested in hearing if you have a better idea! :) Close ups of the shop and balcony: And here it is next to my candy stop for comparison: Thanks for looking! I'll post again when I have an interior.... one of these days.

    [MOC] Kenner MTV-7

Hi folks. This is my first post here; hope I'm ticking all the boxes. This is the first in a series I'm calling "Mini-rigs for minifigs," the MTV-7 (Multi-Terrain Vehicle). In 1981, Kenner, in an effort to save on plastic costs, began releasing small, one-action-figure Star Wars vehicles that weren't featured in the movies but were designed with the same aesthetic. Since then, some of those designs have actually appeared in official Star Wars stories and games, but I'm basing my builds on the original toys, or rather what I imagine the original models that the toys were based on would have looked like. For this build, I'm most pleased with the solution I came up for the spring-loaded shock absorbers that were most of the fun value of the original toy. I used rubber Technic dampers threaded onto the axles at 90° to each other, which give the legs plenty of play but still return them to their default upright position when the pressure is released. If I hadn't won an "Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter" in a Legoland Discovery Center contest, I never would have known those dampers existed! 23. Hi Everyone, I would like to share my WIP MOC which I am currently working on. It is inspired by the V8 sedan Lexus GSF. Oh, and this is my first ever MOC project. It will have: - front mounted fake v8 engine with rear wheel drive. - manual transmission with H pattern shifter - separate modules, it can be easily put together / taken apart back to individual modules, mainly because I like to tinker with them. For example if the suspension is not working, I can modify the front axle / rear axle and hopefully it will still fit in with the rest of the build Things still undecided: - PF / Remote or fully manual - how to build the body >> this is where all the other threads are great for inspiration! The modules I have done so far in LDD are front axle, back axle, fake v8 engine, transmission/gear box, and frame. There will be more modules for dashboard + steering wheel, and body. Here is the LDD screen shot of all the modules together. Screenshots of the Individual modules are in flickr. step 6: put all components together by Andy Tanuwidjaja, on Flickr I spent a lot of times on the gear box, it is scratch build because I want it to as flat as possible as it will sit underneath the seats. Then, I move on to real bricks (this is where the fun begins), and so far I have front axle, v8 engine and gear box. There was a lot of modifications which I did on the fly as there are issues with the LDD design, like the gears won't connect properly or there wasn't enough bracing. Questions/comments/inputs are greatly appreciated.

    Hat Store

Hi to everybody! this is the first MOC I "publish" here on Eurobricks, Not quit a modular building but something similar. It' my Hat Store! As you can see the building is ruled by the Hat Master, a bizarre human kind... There are three section: on the ground floor there is the store, where you can find each type of hat you need. Here you can have a quick look at the furniture. Then the first floor with large windows and gentle details. And the roof (probably my favorite one) with the clock and the big yellow hat! Final pictures of the whole building. Hope you like. Please feel free to comment or give me some suggestions! Hope you enjoed! p.s. Finds more in Rava Town! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/145537-rava-town/
