Heroica RPG - Quest Masters' Lounge

First of, I would like to start by saying thank you for an amazing quest WBD; your quests are always fun, and this one was no exception. I truly enjoyed the story, it was pleasant and easy to follow, the twists were great, and there were no complicated or convoluted endings, which is refreshing. I do however have to apologize for my incompetence in solving the puzzles (as they are kind of a staple in your quests), but that is not your fault, its mine - that is the reason I never got into Professor Layton games (even though I think they are pretty good games )... As for Thalion, what you said is true, he is suffering from the "good guy syndrome", but I started playing him like that when I joined Heroica, and I didn't want to have him make a radical alignment and personality shift for no apparent reason (as I think that would be just poor role playing), but I should probably make him a somewhat more stout character now that he is a knight; while still trying to maintain his good-guy traits. We'll see how it will turn out. Thank you for your kind words everyone, I was my pleasure to fill in the role of party leader. My fellow players were all great, and it would be my pleasure to go on a quest again with any and all of them. I will, however, point these things out: Monk was an absolute powerhouse at some points in the battles, and the same goes for Matthias in regards to healing and keeping the party alive. Great job guys! I really enjoyed Vindsval's dedication to his deity and never missing an opportunity to role playing with it. I was very sorry to see Nerwen (Chromeknight) had to leave us mid-quest but I believe there were good reasons for that; I always enjoy Thalion-Nerwen synergy, as I think they make a pretty good team. P.S. I apologize for my absence in the last week, I wanted to reply sooner but things have been a little hectic at work.

Heroica RPG - Quest#155: The Grunch Who Stole Grogmas

"Master Monk, I believe this is yours..." Thalion hands Monk back his Magic Compass. "I would like to return these children to their homes as soon as possible, as I believe they have been through a lot; but I guess we could all use a little rest before that journey. Thank you for your kind gifts, they are exquisite. Merry Grogmas to everyone!" OOC: WBD, what should we do with Small Presents that we received near the beginning of the quest? Are they relevant, or just an RP item, because I would like to have Thalion give one to Lindy as a farewell gift before the quest is over, if that's OK!?

Heroica RPG - Quest#155: The Grunch Who Stole Grogmas

Thalion nods at Grunch's words, ""Indeed you are right master Grunch, and I would be happy to have you with us as we escort these children to their homes. Since you know of the Thunder Ram tribe, what do you say we start with getting their kids home safely first?" Thalion turns around, "Children gather around and say goodbye to Lindy and the others, we are going to get you to your homes soon! I think first we will be going to the Thunder Ram tribe.", he says out loud.

Heroica RPG - Quest#155: The Grunch Who Stole Grogmas

Thalion rummages through his backpack and finds a second grating stone, "Sorry, looks like I forgot this... Master Monk, here." He hands Monk the grating stone. Thalion looks at the children and ponders for a moment, "It is as Lindy says, we do know her parents. And you are also right Mindy, we are of Heroica. My plan now is to go and get Lindy back to her parents, and then we will bring each of you to your homes and your families, no matter where they are in the world. You have my word! Does that sound good?" He looks at all the children awaiting to see if they are willing to let the heroes escort them back.

Heroica RPG - Quest#155: The Grunch Who Stole Grogmas

"You dont need to worry Lindy, they are all gone." Thalion picks up the loot and, along with the loot from the party's last battle, distributes it as follows: Matthias: Grating Stone, Elixir, Grand Tonic, 100 gold Vindsval: Undead Antlers, Bag of Wonder, 150 gold Monk: Bright Polish, Scrap Metal, Grand Potion Thalion: Undead Antlers, Winter's Whip, 150 gold Afterwords, he addresses the party, "We should get these children back to their parents in the village as our first priority." He turns around and looks for Grunch, "Master Grunch, do you think there are any more of those things around?"

    [MOC] Funicular railway

Having recently visited Zagreb and seeing "Uspinjaca" in person, I can say this is an excellent representation of it in LEGO form. Great job Sven!

Heroica RPG - Quest#155: The Grunch Who Stole Grogmas

Thalion repeats his attack. "Grunch and Mux, you should continue with your attacks on the same enemies." Same battle order. OOC: Monk gave his compass to Thalion, for safekeeping, way back after the battle with Necro Baker so he shouldn't have been able to spirit away the automaton.
