  1. 2022 Black Friday deal and managed to score a 42128 (Heavy-Duty Tow Truck) for €78.
  2. Best deal ever, only today in Luxembourg brand new set costs 84.5 euros. Simply amazing.
  3. +1 best Technic set 2016 Until now I have always bought only one set from annual line up and obvious choice have always been the flagship. This has now changed, as I didn't choose neither the BWE nor Porsche. Claas is in it's own class and as I got the set less than EUR 100, it's also a very-very good price/quality ratio.
  4. I thought that the current design is already a stair-top design or have I missed something? Hopefully someone from SBrick team can explain the difference between £60.000 and £100.000 goal's design.
  5. I'm one of the £29 pledge backers. Fingers crossed the project will materialize :)
  6. Thanks for the hint. Mine is ordered and it cost €194 incl shipping to Estonia.
  7. Congratulations rm8. I'm really looking forward to add this unique set into my Technic flagship's collection but unfortunately I live in Estonia and we don't have LEGO shop@home nor LEGO official store.
  8. My wild guess it's meant for switching on/off the battery box.
  9. I know it sounds too late but by the end of Lego World Copenhagen (16.-19.02) we most probably have 1st real life pictures. Until then I really hope that we'll see "traditional" pictures from dealer catalog including preliminary description about the sets.
  10. I'm quite sure that the Off-Roader is the 2012 flaghsip but I want to believe that there are something special under the Off-Roader hood and it's not revealed yet, otherwise it doesn't seem anything special (except it is the first official RC wheeled LEGO technic set).
  11. Just noticed descriptions of new 2012 sets in Brickset: 9396 {heavy-lift helicopter} 9398 {remote control off-roader} Hopefully in coming days first preliminary pictures of the 2h 2012 sets will emerge. EDIT: First pictures are already available and you can read first thoughts at TechnicBRICKs
  12. After all your very positive comments and recommendations I didn't have another choice but to order the youngest brother of 8459 :) MISB 8439 should be on my way soon
  13. Turning wheels while standing still is almost impossible and depends on heavily the surface type.
  14. Yesterday I tried out the M-motor solution for steering and I have to say that at first I wasn't entirely happy with the results because "thanks" to the clutch-gear the wheels didn't turn as much as they could. Please note that my Unimog has snow plough and crane attached and the plough applies great amount of force to the front wheels. Due to the above-mentioned, the wheels didn't turn almost at all or they turned badly. So I decided to implement some modifications and to see whether the steering improves if I remove the plough. After the removal of plough the wheels turned better but it wasn't a solution for me as I wanted to keep the plough attached. So I decided to remove yellow knob wheels and replace them with 12-20 gears. After that modification I have to say that steering improved quite a lot but it isn’t as good as it might be. My conclusion is that XL-motor version gives you a maximum performance/turning radius but without clutch-gear the gears will slip and it’s not good for your lego parts. The M-motor version with clutch-gear guarantees that you don’t break your parts but the turning range isn’t as good as with the XL-motor.
