  1. Looking to trade my AT-TE. The set comes with the instruction booklet, is 100% complete, and in great shape. Only some scuffing/scratching on the stickers (see picture). I am looking for POTC sets or minfigs as well as smaller SW 2011 sets as a fair trade. Location Europe (Croatia)

What's your favorite LEGO license theme so far?

    1. Star Wars 2. Batman 3. SpongeBob 4. Indiana The list will probably change when I purchase a couple Toy Story sets. I think Toy Story will make it to number 2 on the list.

    7140 X-Wing Fighter

Hello Lego Star Wars fans! I decided to do this review because I noticed that the review index needed one and also I wanted to contribute to this great community we have here, so here it goes. I got this set the other day by trading one of my Attakus Star Wars statues for a couple of older SW Lego sets. It is my first X-Wing and I must say that I am impressed. It is a fairly simple and straight forward build. Once built it is very sturdy and has no problem handling swoosh maneuvers. Here are a couple of random pics of the instruction manual: As we all know, Luke in Hoth uniform is one of the most produced minifig Lego has made to date so here are some more pics just in case you missed out on the others: Here is the little train, at least that's what i like to call it. It a very simple design but fun to pull/push around. Love the end part where you can put all of the tools. The X-Wing is great. The foils can be locked into attack position without any problems. The wings are also very well built and do not come off even after several movements of the wings. Can't help but compare this to Anakin's latest Jedi Starfighter and think how well Lego use to build these older sets. Foils in action: I love the fact that the display in the cockpit reads out like the trench on the Deathstar! Oh, and no stickers in this set. Only printed pieces!! Here is where R2 fits in: A note to Lego: Please build future sets like you have in the past. Storage space is essential for weapons!! Here is what we get for weapons and tools. I received a grey tool but I do believe that all of them should be black: The whole set: And for fun:

That's a great picture. The fire looks amazing!
  6. Yeah, I was really surprised by their limitations in displaying a normal stance.

    Toy Story discussion thread

I am glad to see that this theme is being discussed so much. Toy Story is such a classic movie. The only movie that my 2 year old daughter ever sat the whole way through! That is a testament to how good it is. The only thing negative about it is the fact that it might mean less Toy Story sets in my country due high demand. Which in turn will mean higher prices than MRSP on EBay. Which will ultimately destroy my wallet. I was negative about Buzz and Zurg building sets but after seeing the close ups of these sets I feel that they are looking pretty good. Love the fact that Zurg will be able to use his canon/blaster. Really cool touch that will enhance the set. It was the first thing my son asked when I showed him the pictures "will he be able to fire...". I am disappointed that the sets will be coming out in March though. I was so hoping on December, you know in time for the holidays, even though it was listed as 2010. I guess that leaves time for me to save up some more money and get all of them at once. Keep posting new info...

    Review: 7103 Jedi Duel

Thanks for the review. I have this set and like it but I find that the crane is a complete miss. Not even my son bothers to take it out to play with and he's eight. They should have either left out the crane or added some more detail/bulkiness to the speeder. At least there are no stickers.

    Review: Set 6212 X-wing Fighter

Thanks for the review. I love it when a reviewer has lots of pics and comments. I never new that there was an X-wing that had so many minfigs! Add to that the fact that they are fleshies, seems to me I have some shopping to do. Set 6212 will soon be added to my list!
  10. Well I was bored the other day and decided to take out some of my Attakus statues and compare them to their appropriate minfig cousins. Here are some pics and comparisons made by me: Darth Vader What can you say about he ultimate bad a$$ in the galaxy. This version that Attakus made does not have the best stance in the world (looks like his gonna hit a backhand in tennis) but none the less it is still impressive when seeing it in front of you. Minifig stance: tried my best but it is hard to do a backhand with a Lego minifig My Vader minifig does not have his belt nor does he have his chain for the cape. I say that this one goes to Attakus for detail but playability goes to Lego. Darth Maul Almost the best thing to happen to Episode I(first being the release of Episode I). Such a shame that Obi had to cut him in half. Minifig stance: completely nailed the stance on this one I am going to have to state the fact that Lego had completely forgot to put in Mauls horns. The designers must have been drinking to much that day. Again detail goes to Attakus but playability goes to Lego again. Boba Fett To much coolness for words to express: Minifig stance: impossible to replicate A big mistake here again. No cape, wookie braids, bullet holes and so on... No surprises here fokes. Detail Attakus. Playability Lego. Hope you enjoyed my 2 cents. If this was posted in wrong forum please remove accordingly.

Thanks for the pictures. Love the look of the sets so far apart from the Zurg and Buzz "construction" sets. These two sets do not do it for me... yet. The round up set looks like a winner from my children's viewpoint. Lots of little things to play with and the whole town acting as the play set. PERFECT!

    Review: Tantive IV, 10198

Nice review with beautiful pictures! Thanks for this. I think it is a nice set but after reading the opinion of other members I also feel that the set offers to little. The thing that changed my mind the most (on whether to buy this set now or wait a year or two) is comparing it to the republic cruiser 7665. I do not own the republic cruiser, yet, but it is one that is on my wish list. So I think that 7665 will take priority over 10198. But Antilles having two faces is a VERY nice touch. just my 2 cents
  13. Thanks everybody for the reply! Yeah, step 8 was where I missed it. I looked over the instructions 3 times before turning to the forums for help. Guess I need to check my eyesight. Good thing it was an easy fix and I can only imagine missing a step on a big build such as the death star and then trying to go back and fix it. Head ache galour! Happy building everyone!!
  14. I agree that we always get extra pieces but it says 6x that brick in the instruction manual. That's why I am stumped!?! Thanks for the reply...
  15. If posted in wrong section please move to appropriate forum. I just finished building this set (well my son did) and I have no idea where the these two bricks go. There are 6 of them that come with the set and for the life of me I have no idea where the other two go. Here is a picutre of where four of them go. Any help would be great. Thanks
