Listening to the album Mabool by Orphaned Land
-
Those sound effects came from Age of Empires and Rise of Nations if I remember right. Great film but seems to be overlooked

Actually I just noticed something I have to bring up; if the pirates brutally slayed their captain, then why did they construct and place a cross for a grave marker? For that matter, why would they even bother burying him? The plot thickens...

Which movies can you watch over and over again?
JeffD984 replied to Bobskink's topic in Culture & Multimedia
My list would be: Star Wars IV-VI('nuff said) Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Dumb and Dumber Spaceballs Transformers the Movie(original cartoon one) Team America A bunch of Swarzeneggar films Happy Gilmore Billy Madison I guess I'm mostly a fan of the 80s-90s movies since that was when I primarily grew up. There are probably a lot of films I left off though -
That castle looks great! I have high hopes for the PoP line

We got very lucky in how we filmed this. A lot of the scenes we pretty much just made up on the spot and were fortunate enough to have the music work with video. Matt and I have made four movies thus far and have enjoyed creating them as well as learning little tips and tricks from them. That being said, we hope you have enjoyed them!

Quite menacing!

"Glory of the Empire" by Circus Maximus. Great song retelling the story of the film Gladiator.
-
Looks great, Matt! Very regal.
-
Oh the humanity! A cruel but fitting end
-
Hmm, I'm looking for Vic Rattlehead on the deck but just don't see him Very cool ship though, has a clean look and doesn't look cluttered at all

I saw this movie in 3D today with my cousin. Initially I was skeptical of the film and started off with eyes wandering just looking at everything. But as the movie progressed, I had to consciously tell myself to blink! The film is entirely engrossing, it lives and breathes! Being the product of a generation that grew up with the advancement of video games, I can say that this film expressed those thoughts that echoed in my adolescence; "Wow, if only I could be Cloud from Final Fantasy 7...I wonder what it's like to experience the travel of different and distant worlds like Luke Skywalker?...What adventures await on the next page?" Avatar reflected that longing to wake up in a foreign land, that desire for escapism that so many of us can long for at times. It seemed like Cameron was able to accomplish that quite well as Jake certainly gave off the impression that he only lives when he dreams. Ultimately, when the movie ended, I was taken out of my teenage fantasies and back into adulthood; where I have to work, study, and overall just have to be patient. A marvelous film, not without its faults though, that I would highly recommend!

A World Lost to Nature - Discovered
JeffD984 replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great atmosphere here, the overgrowth of the plants looks natural as it is lush with vivacity. I think you captured that sense of wonder quite well! -
This looks like a lot of fun! Who knew that pirates were also highly skilled engineers that are able to discreetly move slabs of solid rock to reveal a cannon!
