My basic expectations for this set is that the reworkings of it will make it much worse than the orignial concept (they simply can't give us something that good), but that it still will be well worth buying. I'm happy that this picture seems to confirme thay at least keept the basic arm design (you can see a little of the elbow design and it too resembles the original, even if it's modified).

LEGO Ideas: 21110 Research Institute/Female Minifigure Set

Wow, I'm really suprised to see this topic being flooded with misogyny... not. 10/10 to the set, will buy. -
Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Futureā¢ Time Machine
insurrection replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm not a fan of BTTF-fan and wouldn't buy this model anyways, so the minifigs dosen't change my opinion much and instead I must say I thinkt the model is just quite uggly. The original cuusoo-project wasn't superclean either, but the officiall version is just so much worse with the steped hood. I'm a little suprised by how much the opinions of the whole set changed just by the addition of the minifigs... -
But is it a real part? Ah, cool!

A black horse is more realistic than a horse with a incomplete barding, as there actually excists black horses whitout blankets, but there is no horse blankets that looks like the PoP one. There is also horses that can pose like the lego horses, even if they are not locked in this pose. Adding detail is not the same as increasing realism. But I can still see your point, it's not like I'v got something against a greater varity in horses, and it's not like it buggs me to bits, only just enough to post about it

Recently bought all sets except the Quest Against Time and like them, especially the figs and their torsos. But about the printed horse: isn't it kinda lame that the printing is missing on the top? I mean, it supposed to be a blanket, right? Now it feels a little like Dastan glued some textile on the poor animals flank and shoulder. Also the fill-in for when the sadle is off are in black, which looks lame to me, would have been better with sand blue...
