Huzzah! quite impressive! i did something similar in terms of modular design but you pulled it off perfectly! I especially love the fact you can see three levels into the thing allowing for perfect playing space and alot of room to add small details! You should put a padlock or guard detail near the rum supply congratulations on a great piece of work!

The new soldiers, what shall I do with them?

You could: 1. Royal Marines 2. Palace Guards/specialist unit 3. Provincial Unit raised by "The Brickish" to protect overseas colonies -

Osprey Men At Arms 289: King George's Army 1740-1793 (2) Has a plate of Royal Marines from 1740-1775. the 1740s marines are wearing red great coats that are cut just above the knee, and striped or grey gaiters. They also wear the cloth mitre caps that were worn by grenadiers of the same period. -
the only constructive criticism from me is INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE? amazing mod keep up the good work!

you're 100% right! i drew inspiration from the Blacksmith Shop set developed by Daniel Siskind. My idea of a pirate island was more of a Royal Caribbean colony, that had (on the far side of the palm trees) a pirate base where the pirates could make overland raids into the town, or use a small river to attack it. come to think of it, it does sorta clash....

2 years ago I re-located from my home in Long Island, New York to a new residence, started college and a new carreer. This of course left no room in my schedule for Lego (gasp). But after hearing recent news of a new Pirate line, along with perusing some fine inspirational MOCs on this forum, I thought I'd share what I have. More will be posted as I discover things of note in "cold storage" Enjoy!
