    Bionicle 2015 Discussion

Thought I may have been. I only saw people talking about Onua before this post exploded so got excited that it was my thing haha. You could have pretended I found it first :(

    Bionicle 2015 Discussion

Having stared intently at the leaked pics - I'd wager that all the Toa have gears. Tahu clearly seems to have some back technic going on. I'd imagine it was similar for Kopaka but we don't have a good angle. Interestingly, I also spy some technic on the smaller Toa - i.e. Lewa. Look between he left arm and shoulder- it seems some small gears are there. Now, if I am corect in seeing this, I reckon there will be action gears in place which will move the arms up and down, while also having the same range of motion as a non technic action figure. If Lego have managed to successfully combine the two, then this really could be an exciting new development, and possibly the biggest change since the new building system. Also guys, hey haven't been here in ages. BIONICLE OMG

    Hero Factory 2014 Discussion

I have logged on for the first time in about 6 months just to say that I very much enjoyed Pacific Rim - and while this wave of sets bears many similarities, the fact is it opened up a new and very exciting window to building Lego action figures. I believe, kind sir, that others having a differing opinion from yours does not make them any less valid.

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion

So, I haven't bought a Lego set in over a year and I haven't commented on this site for a good sixth months, but oh my word, I think this may be the best line of sets Lego has come up with. There's so much creativity, so much originality and cracking designs. The only flaw I can really think of is the fact that there are so many sets that look around the £20-£30 range which will push people a little, but wow, I think I may just have to get back into the Lego hobby for these beauties.

Well exactly. Until Lego find a suitable method of hiding gears away in the body of Hero Factory figure or at least so it's not sticking out the back, they shouldn't be employed.

    REVIEW: 44003 SCAROX

Barring some nice gold pieces and a good helmet, a thoroughly uninspiring and dull figure. That motion gimmick ruins the figure as with Bruizer. Thanks for the review though!

Oh, what a shame about the right arm. Stupid gimmick (admittedly, not as awful as Scarox), that does nothing but distract from what was actually quite an interesting design.

You can also see the Balrog in that image. Very exciting news.

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion

Just seen the prelim pictures for the next wave. Sauruman vs Gandalf is a great way to get Sauraman on the cheep. Interesting choice to play the pirate ship as the main set. I wouldn't have thought that as one of the obvious choices, but, fine by me. The battle at the Black Gate definitely includes the mouth of Sauron which is very exciting. The council of Elrond looks nice, and will probably be the only way of getting Arwen for figure collectors like me. I haven't picked up any of this wave, but I believe Haldir, Theoden and Eomer are the only main characters not in the 2013 wave, so I might just order them for completion's sake. Don't think I have room for Helm's deep alongside the Hobbit sets.

    Review: 44004 Bulk

Cheers for the review. :) I am a very big fan of Bulk's face, but the figure feels somewhat lacking. I think it is the small shoulders that feels off, and the weapon is pitiful. Still, worth a purchase I think.

    Favorite G1 Bionicle Set?

I know I'll probably be alone here, but any one of the Mahri toa really were great imo.

    Hero Factory 2013

Just saw that. Interestingly, seeing the figures in animated form has made them grow on me. Maybe I was too fast to judge. I like the little glimpse of the Ice-Pyrox dude at 0:36. Cool figure there.

    2013 Galaxy Squad

I really like these sets, apart from the robots. I don't know if anyone else feels this, but I feel asthetically they just don't fit in with the sets.

    LOTR & The Hobbit 2012

Faramir! <3 I'm so happy now.

    Legends of Chima 2013

TV show looks good. I enjoyed the NinjaGo show and this seems to aim at a bigger scale. I will look forward to that. Oh, and what are constraction sets? Doesn't everyone mean construction sets?
