  1. Man this takes me back. Back to when I used to be able to make these mini guys in between work.
  2. Great to see all these creative tree building techniques. Thought I'd also go for an interesting approach (the decorations didn't work as well as I'd thought). Anyway love the community spirit and great to get my building mind into gear after such a busy year. EDIT: Fixed image size to requirements.
  3. Thanks heaps CopMike! The Phoenix guy is all sad now that the Tiger has found his wings!
  4. Wow that's amazing CopMike. Happy New Year to all.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

Man I was at the NZ Armageddon Expo a while back now and I saw these Decool figures. There was a stall there that had the figures unboxed on a stand and was selling them for $5 each as Lego mini-figures. I actually thought they were Lego until I got up close to them. It just 'irks' me that these people were selling these to parents and kids as Lego figures when they were not. I hope they were able to tell the difference like me. I did appreciate the likeness they were able to achieve and the variety of characters however.
  6. A-AoNZ!!! Haha this reminded me of the Key and Peele - Substitute Teacher video where he calls out the role and says: "A-Aron" instead of "Aaron". So cool Prize B! I haven't any Chima figures but I've been watching the show heaps recently so great to finally get some! Huge thanks to CopMike and I will check back daily to see the winners entries for entertainment! Good Luck All!
  7. Long time no see fellow Eurobrickers Great to see the Christmas spirit once again around here! With work bogging me down year long it's great to finally break out the Lego again for a little bit of fun. What do I want for Christmas? "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" Enjoy!
  8. Wow it's been a while and so many new sets out. Just was wondering if anyone knows of any good stores around New Market Auckland that sell Lego? I am looking for the Lego Simpsons Minifigures in particular. I checked out the Warehouse there but couldn't seem to find any (less I overlooked them). Thanks
  9. ToyWorld having a Waitangi sale. 20%-50% everything in store. Lego will probably be at the 20% end. Ends tomorrow

EB Xmas Raffle 2013: Now on!

Thanks for the clarification CopMike and for organising this once again. That is indeed a lot of prizes now! Good to know there's still a chance and will eagerly check tomorrow. Merry Christmas to all!

EB Xmas Raffle 2013: Now on!

Congratulations to all the winners so far! Just noticed on the calendar now that all these names have appeared next to bonus. Could these be the remainder of entries that have not yet won? If so I feel a bit disheartened to have not been entered, checking the calendar eagerly everyday to hopefully see my name was fun but now knowing I would have never won is a bit of a dagger. It has nothing to do with the certain missing pages thing either cause people right beside my post have been lucky enough to win. Anyway I can share people's frustrations here (the excitement of thinking your able to win all the way up to now torn away) so would just be good to know in future who actually is entered and who is not. Despite all this I love hanging around Eurobricks to keep up to date with everything and enjoy scrolling through all the entries to all the various contests and raffles held here so thank you. Have a good Christmas

Great to see the Christmas spirit of Eurobricks arise once again! Lord Pig Vader getting into the Christmas spirit! Grumpy Sparrows Star Wars are a great compliment to the Lego

    3D Printing

Though people can print anything they want there is still a demand for a sufficient skill level to actually model the pieces. I think people will end up selling designs of various Lego pieces, which in their point of view is ideal printing whenever there is demand.
  14. Congrats to all the winners! Really great ideas and really well presented.

    EB SW Xmas raffle 2012

Congratulations to all the winners! It was very exciting checking back day after day and much suspense was built for me when the server was down those couple of days. Next year may just be my year but a huge thanks to CopMike for providing such entertainment
