  1. If I get it together in time this will be one of my exhibited models at Brickvenion 2015. It has no tyres yet proposed features: Working 90o DOHC V4 engine with 4 valves per cylinder Working rising rate link rear suspension Gearbx with neutral and first with working foot control Steering Lights F & R PF L motor to turn engine / wheel This took me 4 months to design part time, it's been polished up here and there since finishing over a year ago. I can't wait to bring them to life in real bricks! Now how do I organise a 10,000 part bricklink haul

  5. you may like to try Lego Digital Designer, it allows you to build and try different things without breaking parts and fingers from building and rebuilding Great job for a first MOC
  6. Fantastic, the use of gears makes perfect XJ220 wheels :D
  7. All lego except the pneumatic tube tyres which is a very close match in size, but much more affordable. Also, the motor valve train failed to work as designed, the next giant harley I make will surely have working valves, rockers, pushrods, cams, crank, rod and pistons
  8. Hello, Eurobricks Technic, Mindstorms and Model Team! I have been without internet for some time, and just logged into Eurobricks again. I cannot embed an image, so here is the image location on postimage org: I am Kieran Chamberlain, and I present to you a rendering of a Harley Davidson custom designed using LDD that I will be building soon. It is my first LDD to POVRAY rendering, and uses the default render settings. The tyres in the render are for representation only, the real model will have tyres synthesized from pnuematic tubing, etc. 98% complete, It comprises a heady 3000+ parts at 65cm length, with the following functional features: -45 degree single cam V-twin engine with two pushrod operated valves per cylinder -Front and rear brakes with hand and foot controls -Springer front suspension -Foot gearshifter with nuetral and first gear -9v motor in gearbox, battery pack disguised as oil tank -Steering Enjoy!

    Modulex bricks are coming back!

Thanks for the link, I'd never heard of Electromechanical Machining. I reckon you're right, it would explain the extremely high costs of lego molds we hear of.

    Modulex bricks are coming back!

My primary school had a few modulex bricks, in the lego bucket. I was always amazed by the novelty of their tiny size. In the photo on this twitter post, it looks like they are using original molds! They are clearly not new. https://twitter.com/ModulexBricks/status/504264049903669248?utm_source=fb&utm_medium=fb&utm_campaign=ModulexBricks&utm_content=504264049903669248 How on earth does one grind a square shoulder ito the corner of a steel mold Brilliant metalwork!
