    REVIEW: 7198 Fighter Plane Attack

Sorry for beeing a bit rude and cynic; I would not use the word "sophisticated" about the controls in a fighter from the Second World War. The controls often consisted of a primitive joystick with a single trigger button.

IJ: The Gun is Even Mightier than the Sword

Haha!! I couldn't agree more: it is a really fun scene and this little background story makes it even better! Indy Jones rules! LEGO Indy is superior...

    Post Apocalyptic Outpost

Really nice!! I suppose it took some time to build it...

    7676 Republic Attack Gunship

Hmm...let's see; has TLC made an earlier version of the Republic Attack Gunship, a smaller one? I think I can remember something like that but I'm not sure, please help me clear up my mind! I think this set (7676) is really interesting but a bit too big. I like the stickers to this set especially the two stange pairs (the rat-like thing and the "pin-up") which I think are supposed to recemble the paintings on WW2-bombers, really nice! Well, well I will never come close to buy such a beast but I could always dream about it.

Ideas for Future Indiana Jones Sets

I want the Flying Wing, a tank and a submarine base since I am a kind of a military fanatic. Streetfight scene sounds good to. Some jungle mountain trail with traps and natives perhaps.
  6. Really detailed and interesting, the submarine is very 'cute'! Well done!

Indiana Jones - the Flying Wing

Sorry hehe the MG turret do blend in to the background so well that I didn't spot it... Is there an official/TLC Flying Wing and in that case where can I find it!?

Review: 7626 Indiana Jones - Jungle Cutter

I think it is meant to illustrate the Jungle Cutter being hit by Indy's RPG (which is terribly ugly by the way...)

    German Headquarters

    Really nice vignette, well done!

How things have grown in 20 years...

I think I see a ambulance helicopter in the background of the third photo. I am a bit interested about it. The most MOC I do orbits around war and I am wondering if the ambulance helicopter could be used as a military helicopter since I think it is a great TLC design. Whats your opinion? What I am most interested in is if the cargo space is adequate. Is it 4x4 as I have guessed, or? If one could switch red bricks for green it would be perfect. Sorry for this strange comments and questions but I am just curious.

    ideas for the new Soviets

I am doing a little project; which I call "LEGO At War: Classic Combat" and involves the Indy Jones theme. The Germans form the Orange Army and the Soviets form the Purple Army and then they are supposed to wage war against each other. Small arms consists of BrickArms' arsenal (long live BrickArms! www.brickarms.com) The strange thing with this project is that it is only in my mind (I do not own one single Indy Jones set! ) and it is free to take my ideas as long as you take some photos so I can see the result Orange Army Units MC (from Motorcycle Chase): 1 "guard" MC with side car (from Motorcycle Chase): 2 guards with Mk 48 Jeep (from Race for the Stolen Treasure): 2-3 guards with Mk 48 and RPG Truck(from Race for the Stolen Treasure): 5 guards Check Point (from Motorcycle Chase): 2 guards Small arms C96 SW500 MP40 M47 Mk48 PSG-1 RPG M24 Maybe a modified G36 without the grip with integrated sight. Purple Army Units Jeep (from Peril in Peru): 1-2 guards Small Tracked Vehicle (from Temple of the Crystal Skull): 1 guard Amphibious Vehicle (from River Chase): 2 guards with Mk 48 Tank or APC (modified Jungle Cutter) 2-6 guards Riverine Patrol Boat (from River Chase): 1 guard with Mk 48 Sniper's Nest (from River Chase): 1 guard with PSG-1 Small arms M1911 AK47 Mk48 PSG-1 RPG M67 Headgear for the soldiers include the cap the guards wear, the CITY officer cap and the CITY prisoner knit/cap in matching colour, the Indy Jones MC helmet. Some more vehicles such as the Flying Wing, a light helicopter and a howitzer would fit well into the plan. A base or camp would also be good including the Indy Jones tent and a bunker. The German truck could have differnt "modules" on the truck bed like command vehicle (box with computers/radioes inside and antennas on top), engineer (crane), ambulance (red cross marking and a stretcher inside). If come up with more ideas I will post them here.

Indiana Jones - the Flying Wing

Yeah!! Looks great! I have wondered why TLC didn't make their own Flying Wing, but it seems they have, or? But since TLC sets use to be a bit 'bulky' I think your Flying Wing looks way better. I like the cockpit but I can't see the MG Turret well well nothing to bother about! Well done!!
  13. For being your first one it is superb! Well done! Do you use BrickArms MP40s?

    Review- 7738 Coast Guard Helicopter

I completly agree! It looks great! Sadly enough it will probably take a while until I can find it in my local little toy-store up here in Sweden... I am experimenting a bit with militarizing LEGO and this set could fit pretty well in my project.
