  4. Yes - we know. We just wanted to get a full set of seven notes (similar to the Euronotes). Arrested by Secred Service! Haha ... or think about the situation at an US Airport ... "No sorry ... counterfeit money producer ... you are not allowed to enter the USA ..." Thanks - nice to hear! Just send me an Email to lego@t-reichling.de. We made some printing proofs on white and tan tiles one year ago but the tan tiles looks much more familiar compared to the real money. Me, too ;-)
  5. GBP ... nice idea ;-) Have to think about it! The printing is very expensive, because the ink is nontoxic but scratch resistant!
  6. Hello everybody, some of you already know the Euro Banknotes we made in 2009. Now, two years later, we got all the permissons for printing the US Dollar Banknotes, too. United States Secret Service Hope you enjoy them :-) You can find them in our Bricklink Store, too: TASTER BRICKS Best Regards, Tobias Euro Banknotes - Printed on 1x2 tiles in white! - Seven values: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 Euro! Greetings from TASTER

Yes we used PicToBrick for coloring the map and for a material approximation. The 3D effect was made manually. Thanks ;-) I am registered since several month, but in the past i have not found the time to be here continuous. I hope this will be better in the future! Nice to hear that ;-) I can try to tell it in some easy words: 1) We searched the web for a good source picture of the European map. 2) Then i made some modifications with Photoshop: Converting the picture to Grayscale (lowland in white, highest mountains in black, the rest in different gray colors between). 3) Then we used PicToBrick with the Slicing Algorithm to set the colors: This method cuts the color scale of the picture (from white to black) into a given number of equal parts and you can choose a color for each part. 4) After this we built the map with different heights for each color. 5) 20 people from all over Europe helped us with building the fantastic little sights :-) In the moment the map is shown in a childs museum in Cologne. However it will be shown at the Legoworld in Copenhagen (02/2011) and/or at Fanabriques in France (06/2011), too. Hehe ... you can see the contents of the parcels here: http://www.t-reichling.de/pictures/euromap/euromap_113.jpg It is the architecture set "Guggenheim Museum" and an engraved 1x8 brick "Euromap Builder". This present was given or sent out to each helping hand! Best Regards, Tobias
