Eagles from space: 1999 TV show

That is the work of Designasaurus post on EAGLETRANSPORTER.COM. He put into pieces his own old Mattel Eagle and rebuild it like new. He did the same with these minifigures.

You're right. I didn't had one myself when I was kid. I used to play with my older brother's kit models. But you have your point after googling, you're right, the scales may match. I always wonder, why the eagle toys, from Mattel or Dinky, have the main engines painted in red ?

I post here my last suggestion for improving this project. Some printed parts, I would like to produce by people who use printing pad process. If somebody in this forum knows some guys working in this field, please let me a comment. Don't forget to support this on LEGO.IDEAS.

It's nice to meet a double fan like me. I admit to be fascinated by your Tintin's rocket, quite inspiring. http://www.swebrick....hp?topic=8451.0 Thanks for supporting too.

Come on guys, this one is a easy one. And to make instructions is not a easy pastime. Grantpassmore alias Eiffleman (Lego.Ideas) did well on is own. http://www.eagletransporter.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161659

Funny, since I put my building instructions online, some hazardous improvement from the original design appear here and there.

Sadly, I think people supports what they already know, I mean a recognizable idea. The young generation has never seen the show, so...

    [LDD MOC] Space Cargoship

I not so sure that this last version was made with real bricks. The #48310 part wasn't produced by Lego in red color ... Nevertheless, the new nose is very appealing. Great job and bravo. Some of your renders on Flickr are looking like so real and you have so many different references of parts in scene. Which software did you use if I may ask ?

Eagles from space: 1999 TV show

Who doesn't love the Moonbase Alpha Universe borns during the TVShow aired from 1975 to 1977 called "SPACE: 1999" and produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson creators of other cult series like the Thunderbirds and UFO. The eagles are iconic spacecrafts from the serie which I always wanted to build in Lego. Since few time Lego production give me the opportunity to get some parts which fit perfectly with the design of these. Of course I made them take part of Lego.Ideas in order to make a real fleet, one day... You can support this project if you want. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/119421
