    REVIEW: Fabuland 3675 General Store

Nice review! Fabuland is still one of my all time favourite themes! I too have done a review on this set you can see it by searching my posts with my many other Fabuland set reviews. This set retailed for $49.50 Canadian Dollars in 1987. Long live Fabuland and hopefully someday LEGO will give us Fabuland Fans a LEGO Legend Fabuland re-release.

    [Review] 7189-1 Mill Village Raid

Terrific review, this set is a certain must buy and did anyone notice the return of the Pitch Fork since it has not been manufactured since the 90's? I am happy to see it make a comeback!

    Review: 3679 Fabuland Wind Mill

Thank you for your kind remarks on my reviews, there is still a lot more Fabuland reviews coming!
  4. This is the Fabuland Play Ground. Come spend a fun filled afternoon with Max Mouse and Bonnie Bunny in the park. Set Nr: 3659 Released: 1987 Pieces: 19 Figures: 2 Price: $24.50 CAD The front of the box. The back of the box showing Max and Bonnie having fun in the park. The contents of the box in the inner plastic tray. The elements and figures. Bonnie and Max. The front cover of the instruction book. Getting to know Max and Bonnie, the introductory page. There is minimal "building" so the park is built very quickly. Although there is really no building to this set it is a great addition to the Fabuland town scene. This is the first appearance of the Fabuland swing. I think this set was rather expensive for the time, I paid $24.50 CAD in 1987.
  5. The Fabuland Airport is certainly one of the best Fabuland sets ever made. Luckily a few years ago I obtained one for my collection. The box is somewhat sun faded, however, the contents are like new. This is the Korean version and contains 3 Fabuland figures, Max Mouse, Morty Mouse and Joe Crow. Set Nr: 3671 Released: 1984 Pieces: 59 Figures: 3 The front of the box. The back of the box The contents in the inner plastic tray. A picture of the insert catalogue that shows other Fabuland sets. The front cover of the instructions. The green runway baseplate with all the stickers neatly applied. Wall elements with stickers. The introductory page getting to know the characters. Random instruction page, building the control tower. Another random page showing the completed model. A picture of Joe building his plane. The back of the instructions with a beautiful picture of Fabuland. The elements. Max, Morty and Joe. Accessories and Fabuland elements. Starting the build. The plane elements. The finished plane. A side view of the plane. Joe posing with his plane. The finished airport.

    Fabuland, should it come back?

IMO The Mickey Mouse sets were poorly designed, the buildings were facads and didn't even have side walls. There were no stories or proper instructions included and the figures were bad. Those sets were good for parts to add to my Fabuland collection though. I hope that if LEGO were to bring back Fabuland they will do it right like they did in the 1980's.

    Review 3625 Fabuland Sandy Seagull

Actually, I spent days taking pictures of my collection, I don't find them overly blurry. However, maybe my eyes are not as focused as they used to be. Sorry if you are having trouble seeing them clearly, I will try to ensure that the next pics are more focused.

    Review 3625 Fabuland Sandy Seagull

Thank you, I am pleased that you like my reviews, I enjoy sharing my Fabuland collection it is my favourite theme. A lot more reviews to come.
  10. Welcome to the General Store for all your needs and outstanding prices! Set Nr: 3675 Released: 1987 Pieces: 105 Figures: 3 MRSP: $49.50 CAD The box The inside flap. The box contents. The back of the box showing alternative models. Standard bricks with the 24 x 32 baseplate. Fabuland elements and Boris Bulldog, Hannah Hippo and Freddy Fox. The front of the instructions. Getting to know the characters. Random instruction page. Another shot of the instructions showing the completed model. Stickers applied to the elements. Starting the build. Boris, Hannah and Fredding building the shelves. Hannah and Boris attaching the roof pieces. Freddy building Boris' mail car. Interior pic of the store. The completed model. This set is extra special for me as it was a gift from LEGO Canada inc. in Stratford, Ontario in 1988 before they moved their location to Markham, now Richmond Hill, Ontario. I befriended the manager of Consumer Affairs and she new I was a huge Fabuland fan so she gave me this set when I came to spend the day at the office to do a school project. Great memories. Thanks LEGO! In addition, this set is special because it has the blue and grey roof pieces.
  11. Meet Sandy Seagull he likes to do tricks in his plane over Fabuland. Set Nr: 3625 Released: 1985 Pieces: 11 Figure: 1 The box. Inside the flap, getting to know Sandy. Contents in the box. The back of the box showing Sandy building his plane. The parts and Sandy. Sandy getting ready to take off. This is great plane, love the "swooshabilty" factor and it is a great addition to the Fabuland Airport set Nr:3671. It is a shame that Sandy only came in this set though.
  12. This is Walter Walrus and his Motor boat. Set Nr: 3633 Released: 1986 Pieces: 13 Figure: 1 The Box. The inside flap. Contents in the box. The back of the box showing Walter building his motor boat. The finished model, Walter going for spin around Lake Fabuland. Final thoughts: Walter Walrus is one of the coolest Fabuland characters and I really like the motor boat. Sometimes the smallest sets can be the best sets.

    Fabuland, should it come back?

I really don't understand why you believe that old Fabuland elements would not be compatible with a new line of Fabuland. LEGO used the wall elements and other special Fabuland parts in 2000 with the Mickey Mouse theme. Various Fabuland elements/utensils are still being used in the Harry Potter, Castle, Sponge Bob and Belville themes such as: flowers, support post, wind guage/net, baguette, wine jug etc. So what exaclty would be the problem? All Fabuland elements are completely compatible with standard LEGO bricks. I don't see an issue.
  14. This is another gem from my childhood LEGO collection, the Fabuland Wind Mill with Harry Horse and Marjorie Mouse. Set Nr: 3679 Released: 1986 Pieces: 79 Figures: 2 The Front of the box: The back of the box: The contents in the inner plastic tray: Bricks, plates and flowers: Fabuland elements: Harry and Marjorie: Front cover of the instructions: Getting acquainted with Harry and Marjorie: Random instruction page: All larger Fabuland sets contained an inspirational story after the model was built: Harry and Marjorie start to build the wind mill: Harry gets a little help from Marjorie and in no time at all the roof elements are snapped into place: Harry making some final adjustments on the wind mill: Marjorie starts to assemble the delivery car: A few more parts and the car will be complete: The completed wind mill: The wind mill is unique with the big wind mill blade and flour sack printed tiles. I especially like the updated versions of Harry and Marjorie with the new style eyes and printed aprons.
