It's very cool and definitely resembles a lizard. I would suggest some downward or rotating engines for thrust required to lift the cargo. Great build and photography!

I like the review and thanks for the video of the underside. Since the pole is not working I'll say I think this set is outstanding. I will be buying day one. I will get rid of the mini-figures, maybe sell them on Ebay, because I really think their inclusion in UCS sets are just an ugly distraction. Also I'm not a fan of the pictures of the parts before each module is build. Makes for a picture heavy review. If you're going to include that many pictures I'd prefer the pictures to be of more angles of the completed build. Thanks for taking the time to show us this ship.

Are those two little wings secured to the side wings in any fashion and if not do they move out of place if bumped? Also is there front landing gear and if so how well does it work?

The UCS Hype. What will 2017 bring? (40th Anniversary)

I don't thing TLG ever claimed they were making a Millennium Falcon. They try to keep it as secret as possible prior to an official press release. -

I noticed that Brickset.com had a 2017 Star Wars set listed for the longest time as the UCS snowspeeder. It has now changed to just a regular unknown Star Wars set. Usually Brickset is not wrong when they post a listing. Anyone suspect that TLG is leaking false info to throw us off for the big release of the Millennium Falcon? Or maybe the Millennium Falcon is false as well and they have something completely unexpected planned for the 40th? -

I have no interest in piece count or price per piece, for me that has always been a none issue. As an AFOL I am just wanting a good looking set that appeals to me for display. For example Big Ben. It is very appealing to look at, but at the same time I realize that it is a very repetitive build. So I ask myself do I really want to spent that much time building it when the concept of Big Ben could have been captured just as easily in a architecture set. I guess my tastes are just changing and I don't have the desire to build something that big when the building process is mundane.

I think if they would have done a large architecture Disney castle, skipped the minifigs and interior all together they could have made a much better looking and intricate display piece. Such as the United States Capitol building, which I'm starting to prefer over all there recent big structures, i.e. big Ben, ghost busters headquarters, and this one. So on the plus side there's no temptation for me to spend money on any of these monstrosities.

The simplistic nature of the build with large pieces and boring ugly colors makes this very underwhelming to me. Glad to save my money though, so thanks for that Lego.

Very cool!! I bet it's really fun to play with. -
Yes, very impressive! I will be getting this. Between this and the technic Porsche 911 it's going to be an expensive year for me with lego. Not to mention Cinderella's Castle which will probably be just as amazing and a must-have.

Cavegod UCS AT-AT Instructions | "Walker Assault"
Dapper-D2 replied to Cjd223's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Personally, if I were to build it I'd just use glue. They do it in legoland and it's not like you'd ever want to dismantle it. -

I don't know much about the well-known facts of the model. Just thought you might be interested in the review and wasn't sure how close you were to completion of the model. Good luck with it though, no doubt it looks nice!
