[MA-23 - Nature is after you] Dangers of Umbara
Mr.Macgyver replied to Oky's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Love the energy here! Totally pulls me into the feeling of those amazing episodes. The road stones are a great touch and the little Millicreep Droid looks great. -

This contest inspired me to post for the first time in years. Here's my entry (it's 11:47 PM here East Coast USA lol): So many amazing builds. Thanks to everyone who's shared!

Felucia can be a most perilous place! It's been years since my last post! I'd been considering posting again and this contest and all the entries inspired me to make the jump. Felucia is a remarkable aesthetic and very inviting for unusual parts usage. I had blast building this scene and hope you enjoy.

Thanks everyone! I would definitely love to try my hand at another, and hope you get a chance to make one soon! What type of Ent would you like to see? A taller or shorter one, maybe more leaves... brighter?

Very cool! It looks great, this would make a great set. You have my vote!

Amazing! The detail works perfectly with the scale, just beautifully balanced!

Hello all! The lack of Ent moc's recently has been disturbing... so here's my part in filling the void! Meet Beatenbark, he is partially inspired by the models in the Lego LOTR game. He's fully articulated, neck, arms, elbows, hands, waist, legs and knees. Let me know what you think, and please, I would love to see more people build some Ents! Thanks much- Mr.Macgyver

Robin Hood with friends at the inn
Mr.Macgyver replied to Captain Flint's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Awesome! I'm loving the placement of the stones in grass! -
I concur entirely! Even the color scheme is great, very earthy and realistic tones, Kingdoms is good but the colors are very bright. I really hope people get into this range with MOCs and serious armies, the pallet for locations is almost parallel with Star Wars (ok, not exactly parallel but close enough ) .

For Christmas I received "The Art of Captain America: The First Avenger" and was really inspired by the Hydra Mini Tank. It's Totally sci-fi yet it maintains the feel of vehicles built in the 40's. So here's my interpretation, and you can view another angle and the reference image at my Flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrmacgyver/ .

I agree. There is no waste in this set, with 257 pieces and as you said 6 fig and a horse, the price/parts ratio is really good. Here's hoping these will be is stores when Toys R Us runs a B1G1 90%

I just picked up the Clone VS Commando droid battle pack which is just outstanding! I also recently got 9494 Anakin's Starfighter and I have to say, for minifigs, this IMO is the best set of the year so far.

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
Mr.Macgyver replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
I know it will never happen but I would love to see golden age heroes like Captain Marvel Jr., Spy Smasher, Bullet Man and Captain Nazi. Maybe even Green Lama -
How cool! It looks like a lot of fun!
