  1. Fantastic build! really well done.
  2. Yeah followed the instructions page by page, they were very good, no problems encountered. Of course I had to deviate where I was missing a part, and I did not have the bionicle part you used at the rear, so made it as you had described in purple pieces. worked fine :-) With the smaller tyres it's just geared a bit better for running on carpet and in smaller spaces, and wheelies more.
  3. Built the chassis tonight, though missing a key part (48496) for the trailing arm, but managed to substitute with the 87408. No body built as yet, but had fun trying it out. Daughter love it. I preferred it running with the 68.7x34R tyres though, picks up speed quicker and wheelies more. Rear suspension works great!
  4. VMLN8R, you star. thanks. My AAA battery box arrived today. I'd built my own version using an AA battery box, and the chassis wasn't far off, but this will allow me to see your rear end properly.
  5. Love it. it's super cute and fairly capable for a mini TT. want one!
  6. I got the Argos heads-up this afternoon at 4pm from reading this thread... None in my local stores, but managed to find one in Leeds Headrow store. reserved, then drove out to get it, so had it by 5pm today. I did wonder if i'd just got the only one in the store? it's ace, got some great ideas for the new parts, now i've finally seen them. I started and finished the cab, section/bags no.2 so I could finish part of it before we went out for the night and rest of weekend. I finally registered and joined here, after reading anonymously for 8 months+, picking up lego again after some 22 years. Prompted by becoming a father and buying *lots* of Duplo for my daughter. Of course the Unimog is for her, when she's old enough ;-)
