I love the use of green army men as oxidized copper/bronze. Good stuff!

Good to know... I used to use that foul-smelling brew on my Warhammer figures, but I wasn't sure if it'd react the same way to ABS. Thanks!

I work at a board game cafe, and we have just about every one of the Lego board games in our collection. However they're basically never playable, as kids will open several of them and sack them for parts to build insane rainbow warrior creations (an instinct I admire, but it doesn't help the next folks who want to play the game). So I'm looking at gluing them together (except, of course, where required by gameplay). But what glue is best for a truly permanent bond between bricks?

I'll be there all weekend working in the Snakes & Lattes games room, but I'm looking forward to dropping by the Lego goodies.

The shaping around the eyes is top-notch. Good stuff!

The pilot light is a great touch.

Nice! I like that, despite the contrast between the big chunky carrier and the sleek little scout, they still clearly belong to the same family.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

Great find! A few thoughts: -That bride is going to be in high demand- Lego wedding cake toppers for everyone! -I can't not wonder what's under the piper's kilt. -I'm dying to see more of that evil black knight. If his armour is as cool as the bits that are visible in this shot, I need a whole bunch of him. Edit: CallMePieOrDie, I'm pretty sure the 'shipwreck survivor' is Tarzan... -
Sherway Gardens does have a PaB wall, though I've never seen 1x1 plates there. When I was there last week they did have 1x2 plates in black and 1x2 tiles in lime green, both very useful...

MOC: Royal Assassination

I love how clear the story is; from the assassin's pose I can clearly see the moment prior, and that's a tough thing to capture. Good stuff! -
MOC: The Nex: A Seven League Class Plane

It's definitely a weird piece with limited use, but it's a perfect fit with the overall shape of this craft. Great work! -

Very nice work- the shape is a good balance between a plausible aircraft and a menacing sci-fi thing. What element is the cockpit windshield? -
Nice! I really like your use of those ribbed bricks on on the walls.
