I was a huge Lego fan growing up in the late 80s/early 90s. When I became "too grown up" for Lego I went into my Dark Ages from about 1995 until 2010. I didn't pay attention to Lego at all during that time so I didn't know I was missing. After I graduated Optometry school in 2010 I had time to tinker with LDD waiting for my state license to go through and fell in love with Modular building. Then that fall the new Harry Potter sets came out and sucked me back into the world of Lego. Then I got into Kingdoms and had to get everything that I missed while it was available. Now all of a sudden I have LOTR, Star Wars, and Super Heroes collections on top of it all. Thankfully my wife is very understanding and supportive. Whenever she sees sales she asks if I need any of them. And my almost 3 year old daughter loves playing around with the pieces too. It does take up a lot of time and money, but it is fun at the end of the day.
