  1. Entry # 30: Grimm tales Hello, I would like to introduce 3 sets, 2 smaller ones and a bigger one. My idea was inspired by the Grimm Brothers and their fairy tales. I think due to their popularity these fairy tales could become themes of LEGO sets. Although some female charters of these tales have already appeared in the theme ‘Disney Princesses’ , from my point of view these stories deserve to become even more popular with help of LEGO. This way, children could not only read or watch these stories, but they could also build some famous scenes from them. Set 1: Little Red Riding Hood The smallest set depicts a scene from Little Red Riding Hood, where the Wolf is hiding in the bushes watching the little girl on the way to her Granny. Mini figures: 2 Part count: 88 Set 2: Sleeping Beauty Due to the curse of a cruel and ugly witch Sleeping beauty has been fast asleep in her father’s castle for 100 years when a handsome knight finds, kisses and saves her. The spinning-wheel, plants and spider webs are important parts of the scene, too. Mini figures: 2 Part count: 359 Set 3: Hansel and Gretel One of the most famous tales of the Grimm Brothers, the story of two poor children who after being left alone in the dark forest find a beautiful and even delicious gingerbread house. The only problem is that the owner of this tasty cottage a bad witch is. The little children are eating happily not knowing anything about the intention of the witch. This seemingly beautiful cottage has horrible secrets in store for them. This is depicted in my creation. Mini figures: 3 Part count: 646

    [MOC] Custom Tatra T817

Hi guys! Thank you for your responses. I have made a mistake while uploding the pictures of the clutch but I have alredy corrected it. On 4L axle with stop there is: That bush holds the gear. There is a picture of the underside of the truck. You are right. The crane could have been plated in a better way but I didn't have any more parts. Maybe in my next moc :)
  3. Hi everyone! I would like to display you my custom TATRA T817. I worked on it for 3 years. During these 3 years I had to spend some time on looking for parts, too. Although some colors and other things are still not perfect, and there are a few things I would do in another way, I think I have done it for now. First I wanted to make a trial truck with a Tatra like suspension system. I wanted it to be easy to recognise and good to play with. I think it's really difficult to achieve all these things at a same time. I don't know how much it weights but it's quite heavy. :) The first 4 half axle are my own creations but they could have been done with unimog portal axles. :) A few words about what it can do: I can drive it through my foot with slippers in first gear ratio without crackling gears. Due to its not so good ramp angles I wouldn't take part in TT races. :) At every half axle two yellow springs carry the weight. I have created a small clutch that takes the drive to the supporting legs. It has a battery box and a V1 reciever and another V2 one. I have masked them as cargo on the platform of the truck. Motors: 2 XL, 2 M One M is used for changing gears and another one for steering. Other functions are carried out by XL's: driving, v8 fake engine. The gearbox has 3 stages: 2-N-1. You should switch between functions in N stage. These are: winch, compressor, turntable, actuator, moving the 'hook' up and down, supporting legs. I wanted the switches of the functions to be easily recognisable so I used 'green apple' pieces. It has a pneumatic pump as well so that we can quickly get a lot of air. 4. Thank you! :) matelegotechnic: If you wish, I can send the ldd file to you.
  5. Thank you! Yes, it does really not exist in real life but i wanted to built something that is different from the orginal ones.
