    REVIEW: 4182 The Cannibal Escape

Great review, Thanks very much. By the way am I tripping or have you added elements to the box to make it look 3D? That's the same for me

REVIEW: 4192 The Fountain of Youth

Thanks for the review I'd agree about the size of the set and the pricing. Completely agree about adding in some red coats, two in the whole theme seems a tad poor. I think this is the first set I haven't voted outstanding in the theme yet. Thanks again for the review

Damn! I pre-ordered via the states for that too, just incase they didn't have em over here. I think I'll just wait like everyone else in the UK the next time. Thanks for sharing

    SET REVIEW: 4191 Captain's Cabin

Thanks again for another great review I was going to hold off buying this one until I got my other sets, but after reading this review and the pretty pictures, I'm going to have to get it straight away. I love the detail and extras they have given us in such a small set, great! Thanks again.

6285 Black Seas Barracuda current value?

It might be, but with no box or instructions I'm not sure if I got the 1989 or 2002 set! cannons are crossed at the top so it could be the last of 6285 from 1992 or the legend set, although they did advertise it as 6285. If anyone knows of a way I can tell the difference, I'd love to know There have been a fair few deals going this week on ebay to be honest, I managed to get the following, which all arrived as described the day after the bidding ended: Black Seas Barracuda: No Box, No Instructions: £55 Enchanted Island: Box and Instructions and 10 extra pirate minifigures: £32 Forbidden Island: Box and Instructions: £22.25 Castaway's Raft: No Box, Yes Instructions: £2.54, just bought the box on bricklink for a fiver! ALMOST snagged Fortress Eldorado Box and Instructions for £42.50 but it jumped upto £82.96 in the final 10 seconds.......still won it tho Somehow managed to win Fort Legoredo: No Box, Yes Instructions for an amazing £26

Available in the UK through Amazon for sure, just order a set that will get to me this saturday through their lego store. Called up Lego, adviser first told me that launch wasn't until June, but apparently she was looking at the swedish site for some reason. So no official release date other than "soon" from Lego and if you're in Sweden lego expect it to launch in June!

HA! Gutted, looks like the £210 on QAR and Whitecap and an expected £53+Parcelforce handling of £13 is going to be a complete waste of money and time Just called up the TRU in Edinburgh and the lady paused a bit before telling me all they had was megablocks and krack'n attack'n, might just pop down later to see what the script is.

    Newbie from Scotland

Thanks Fugazi, you from Edinburgh too I take it? Yeah this place overall is really friendly and inviting, it's great to have such a community around I'm just waiting to get some pirate sets that haven't been reviewed yet so I can actually start making a contribution around here haha. Thanks for your welcome, hope this finds you well.

So much for the UK being a major growth market that their keen to build on! or maybe their trying to build up all this anticipation for us Brits to go panic buying them all when they eventually get released here I suppose .............................but i hate waiting on mail!!!! I like to buy the large expensive sets first and work my way down, it's always nicer to think you don't need to spend as much as you already have, plus it's nice to spread the excitment of a theme over a period rather than all at once

    REVIEW: 4193 The London Escape

Thanks for the review, I like others, am pleasantly surprised at how the tavern looks. I think I must have a problem or my lego judging skills aren't upto much, but i'm unable to vote anything less than 5 on all the sets so far, hell, I think i'd vote 6 if there was that option haha! Thanks for the pictures too, great job
  15. Haha, you're not wrong there matey :0)
