  1. I don't see why you need to comment this here, but I have a good explanation to your question so here we go. I might be a special example, but in 2016 I made a Scania truck that I was planning to sell instructions for. Having worked at Scania for three years and being positioned at different locations in the factory made me know exactly how the truck was being built, and how assemblies were mounted to the final truck. More on this later. The official Lego Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a prime example of a set where you follow the assembly process of the real thing, including the very important marriage of the chassis and body of the car. The engine was made separately and then put in the car, at the same time as in the real assembly process. This is what I was looking for when people were building my Scania model. I wanted to create the frame of the truck first, then the surrounding elements of the frame, the engine, and lastly the cab. This isn't a bottom to top build, and it requires special made instructions to be able to tell the story at the same time as building. My Scania isn't just an RC truck, but it is an experience for the builder. For someone who has never been to the factory, or someone who has been standing there for years. For this kind of thing, an LDD model isn't enough. Blueprint has been the perfect Lego instructions generator for me. The instructions look great and the flexibility is awesome. The lack of updates is a bit worrying but overall the program works like it should. I have to this day sold over 40 sets of instructions for this truck. It's not that much of a number, but it has made me more money that twice the cost of the pieces in the model itself. This is important for any creator as it gives the possibilities to continue with the ambition. I could not have but a premium price on a LDD model, only with real instructions. I hope this made sense to you, and you now understand who the instructions generator might be for. It takes time to use, especially for large models, but sometimes, it's definitely worth it!

Are you able to post a download link to your LDD model? I'll see if I can make the front look better. :)
  3. Hello, I have already posted a comment here, but you seem to have missed it. I thought the logo you are currently using is in very low resolution. I have made a new one if you are interested. It's based on the current logo but made in higher resolution and without the blue box around. Please tell me if you like it or not. :) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByoPK0wFutEDWGdPODNjVFI2Uk0/view?usp=sharing It is in a slightly different angle than your current logo, but I have made one that is at the same angle too. Just tell me if you want to see that one also. :)
  4. Wow! I found this just now and notice that we saw the same video and decided to make a lego version of it! Didn't even see yours! Here is mine if you are interested: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-6740/ThinkCleverAndSmart/waiting-hand/
  5. Hi! I have had this issue too, but there is an easy fix! Scroll through your steps and look for a line between two steps that are thicker than the other ones. Those are usually appearing near a submodel. Now create a new step to the left of this thick line, and move all of the bricks inside of the step on the right, to your new step. The thick line should now be to the left of an empty step. Delete the empty step and you will see the thick line disappear! It happens that these lines appear multiple times in your model, so check all of it. This happens sometimes when deleting steps inside of a submodel. I have told msx80 about this bug already. The regenerate button should now work! :D
  6. I got the Mac version in the link that Malou posted. You can find that link reposted by msx80 on the previous page (11).
  7. Hi msx80, I just installed the program on my Mac, and it works very nicely. But I did think about the logo as it's in a very low resolution, and it has that big blue box around it. So, I thought about making a new one for you, if you want to use it. I based it on the same blue 1x1 plate as you are currently using. I did however change the angle a bit to make it fit in with peoples programs in the Dock (mac) or in the TaskBar (windows). Are you interested in using it in your program? If so, can I post a link directly here so you can see it? //ThinkClever

    Lego NextGen Scania Truck

Well, that's true. There's a ton of websites that have featured me, so just two comments isn't a lot. :) Also, I was trying to make this as fun to build as possible, so I made it as similar to the real truck as possible on the inside (the chassi). I have been working at Scania for a long time and know almost everything by now. ;) https://www.scania.com/group/en/first-lego-new-generation-scania/

    Lego NextGen Scania Truck

Well, if compared to the model with the grey grille, it's easier to see that they are actually very straight. I know what you mean, but I don't think it is possible to create that small of a hight difference in lego technic. Also, it has the wider bottom fog lights, it has the DAF like lights on the roof, the lights in the grille, and it has the new roofline etc. etc. These are details that make the new model differ from the old one. I just have to ask. Are you going to build your own version of this? You seem to be complaining on it on more than one forum I've posted this on. Don't get me wrong, constructive criticism is a good thing.
  10. The Next Generation Scania was presented in August, and I knew that I was going to build it. I was hoping to be the first in the world to make this Next Generations Scania out of lego, and I think I am! Instructions is available at my site: https://sites.google.com/view/thinkcleverandsmart/lego-instructions?pageId=102920453997454125884 Video is on youtube:

Hope it looks good. Time to make my first post. :D
  12. Great program! I'm currently using this to create instructions for my new Scania truck. I have sent you a private message here on eb. Can you take a look?
