I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but the Wal-Mart SKU for the Nya and Zane Wu Cru training polybag 30425 is 900715204. I found some today while out clearance hunting with the family. Also I noticed that some Wal-Marts/Targets had most or all of the ninjago movie sets or they had near empty Lego isles. Seemed kind of weird. -

And another reason to think this guy is the greatest!

There should be a Thanksgiving set as it is celebrated the month after Halloween. No worries!
-
That is too cool!

It appears that through the gates is supposed to be some sort of haunted house against an orange sky or something. I like that it has three dimensional depth past the gates. Definitely a must have.

Today, I went with my wife to the LEGO store and we got this. On the back of the instructions we found this. This year's Halloween set. Looks awesome! Can't wait.

Agreed, the four weapons at the four corners are a great accent for the base and the water effect works really well. The sails are awesome and the hull expertly done. It is super great that you have done this. I am very impressed!

This is very cool! The overall flow of the mountain rocks with the temple is just great. Excellent color choices as well.
-
Super nice! The robot arm as a door pull looks great and the flower placement "freshens" the look of the scene overall.

Looks great! Really digging the brick built buds. As that old song goes "it must have been the roses"

[MOC] Snake Emperor Pythor & Samurai Samukai
LegoLeroy replied to Exetrius's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very nice! Pythor's brick built tail is great. Samukai should have looked more like that in the show. The dark green really makes the armor look authentic, especially the helmets on the shoulders. Cool use of the bucket handles. Most of all I like how posable Samukai is, great pics. These are awesome display pieces, great job! -
Do people outside of the US even know of (and like) the movie "A Christmas Story"?
LegoLeroy replied to twrt0es's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As far as I know here in the southern states it is as much of a staple as "A Charlie Brown Christmas" or any of the claymation Rudolph movies. From what I can remember here in North Texas we've had snow on Christmas day as recently as 2012 and then before that I can only recall 1986. That being said it can get very cold here and movies such as "A Christmas Story" seem very familiar especially with cursing, kooky gifts, wanting for bb guns and such. -

LegoLeroy replied to twrt0es's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Supported! Flipping through the pictures was like watching a clip reel of the movie. You have done a great job of recreating some of the more hilarious scenes that take place in and around the house. I think this would be a great addition to any Lego Christmas display, well at least for those of us in the U.S. Kudos to you for a great idea. P.S. And for anyone outside of the U.S. who hasn't already, you should see the movie. It perfectly encapsulates what Christmas is/was like here, both the commercialism and traditionalism. -
Ninjago airship and temple
LegoLeroy replied to Bricktrain's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
WOW! That ship is super awesome. To be quite honest you seem to have done a way better job at creating a skypirate command ship/base than the Lego designers. Don't get me wrong the misfortune's keep is "OK", but this is far more appealing as a set in my opinion. Would have been great to have seen something like this in the show as well. Kudos to you! -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
LegoLeroy replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
This is a good point. I hope this is a sign that the Claire and Jesper characters tie into the main story line in HoT. I've thought it kind of strange that they have not been in the show even though the temple was part of both possession and skybound seasons.- 4591 replies

Hello to all. My daughter lives and breathes Ninjago, therefore so do I. Ninjago has maybe even pushed aside pirates as my favorite theme. The Temple of Airjitzu is one of my top three all time favorite sets and after building it I was inspired to design a feudal style Japanese Samurai house and small tea house in LDD. It seemed logical that all of this needed to be on one table including 70728 and 70756. So after a trip to the hardware store and a couple of bricklink orders we (i mean she)had an expanded ninjago city table that is 80 studs by 128 studs. Presently we are watching Day of the Departed hence I thought it was a good time to share this. Dragon's eye views Upgraded version of 70756 Dojo Showdown (here it is called Dareth's Dojo) Tea House Wu's abode ( basically a redo of ToA blacksmith shop in white that's slightly modded) Wu's abode (interior) Lloyd keeping an eye on things Samurai House (open back for playability) first floor second floor (armor and weapons) Third floor (bedroom) (ToA garage door element based roof technique done slightly different) (garage door element roof just done different) view from inside Random samurai

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
LegoLeroy replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Well the fam and I really enjoyed Day of the Departed. It was rather rushed but still fun to watch. Does anyone know if this special will be included with either the skybound or HoT DVD release? Hopefully the former. Did I miss something or was lil Nelson just absent? I kind of expected him to play some sort of role in this since he is included with the rock roader.- 4591 replies

While at TRU getting a stone armor Cole today, I had seen both the "extra awesome" versions of the rock roader and salvage mech. Apparently they include 2x poster, voucher, and a map leaflet.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
LegoLeroy replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Now this is a clever idea, especially if they are inverted corners with a building in between (ie. courthouse). Maybe not with a green space in the middle, but rather a roundabout. Something like a baseplate with a printed Street that circles around a fountain. Just as well a park would be nice too.
