LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!

I was wondering: could the rumored V19 torrent actually be the the republic shuttle or the Eta-class jedi shuttle? They both have 3 wings (the republic shuttle to a much lesser extent to the V19 or the jedi shuttle) and would have space for a "Speeder to fit under the third wing", whatever that means. -

I hope these leaks are true. I've been itching for another solid clone wars wave for almost 5 year now. The leaks talks about an Obi-wan with a white torso and robes going down to the legs which could either be: The 2003 Obi-Wan with the clone under armour. This seems highly unlikely but I can dream. The 2008 season 1-3 Obi-Wan. This would make much more sense, and would imply that the Anakin from the jedi starfighter will be the clone wars version, and not the Ep II version. It would also imply that the clones in the V-19 Torrent are phase 1. My theory is that we wait for pics of the Anakin from the jedi starfighter, and, if it is a new print, would lead more credibility to the new Rebelscum/Brick Show leaks. -

Lots of new molds that I'm on board with; the Veers and Stormtrooper mould look pretty good, but I'm very disappointed with the skirt pieces being hard and not cloth. Adding capes and camo and light greys to the stormtroopers and Imperials make them look like crappy OCs by a child who likes capes, but thats probably just me. -

The Geonosis BP looks good; I like the new Ki-adi Mundi and the dress for Barris Offee, but the phase 1 clones are disappointing. They're not bad figures, but they're the pretty common already. They could have just been phase 2, or at least an updated version of the Clone Wars animated series phase 1 clones. I would've bought 12. Instead I'm buying one. maybe two -

With all the new sets being leaked, what happened to the Clone Trooper and Jedi Battle Pack? Wasn't it supposed to be released with the currently leaking sets? Why is Yoda's hut being shown but not the battle pack? -

A better picture of the new Darth Vader constructable for 2018 has been leaked. Looks like this one will have a removable helmet. Yay? -

That clone trooper first appeared in the 2017 Republic Fighter Tank set. I hope he isn't in either set, though. Not generic enough. -
Red Four's helmet has been spotted on one of the upcoming figures for next year, on a female pilot with a light blue jumpsuit. Anyone know where she's from in canon? Now all people will need for a complete Red Squadron is Red Leader, I believe. Edit: The jumpsuit looks like it's from the original trilogy.

I think that a pair of the dual molded legs from the new Lego Ideas Fishing Store would work well for a Commander Gree, with the olive green and black colour scheme. Can anyone else confirm?

Grievous' Comabt Speeder is actually from the clone wars, and never appeared in the Prequels. -

I'm leaning towards the clones being phase II. In the prelims for the microfighter gunship, the helmet that was used for the phase I pilot was the phase I mold. I might be wrong, though. The prelims for the hailfire droid in 2015 used the phase II helmet with the stormtrooper body. Still exited for the set though. It's been to long since a massable clone trooper pack has been released, even though I feel that Coleman Trebor is just being put in there because not enough people bought the AT-TE in 2013. -
I can see where you're coming from, but I feel that, with a bit of Brasso, dual molded legs would be better than the single side printing done by lego since the last Anakin. I do feel these aren't 100 percent accurate as you said however, so I agree.

I pretty sure that the Highwayman from the new Minifig Series could be used for RoTS Anakin.

I'm pretty sure that boba is completely new. His head is new, and the body is a different colour, not to mention he has a more detailed belt in a different colour. -

Obi Wan looks to have a new body print, Boba looks to be entirely new, and Jango looks like his 2013 version. Hopefully this starfighter doesn't have that escape pod feature like Saesee Tinn's one.
