[MOC] 1 metre Imperial Class II Star Destroyer - Avenger
scythelt replied to mortesv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That looks absolutely incredible. Words cannot express! Having just recently completed building 10030 you really can't understate the size (and fragility) of it. How much bigger than the original UCS is this?- 86 replies

[LDD] Mortesv's CR90 corvette (reverse-engineered version)
scythelt replied to EKae's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@ScottishDave that looks stellar! -
That fleet looks great EKae! Love the way you've set it up for display. I have something similar in mind once I get around to building the Nebulon.

haha sounds like you ordered from the same seller as me. I ordered some odd colours though. Also, made the mistake of ordering the parts for the MF from the LDD seperately, so I have two! Some of the parts in that were the 3-finger joint, so I think I'll be covered in any case. About 60% of my orders have arrived. A few stragglers dragging the chain. Build could be anywhere from now -> 6 months though. The medical frigate has been No.1 on my want list ever since I came out of my dark ages, so this build might just jump to the front of the queue... I have parts for a sitting waiting to build for the 10179, 10030, 10221, Anothergol's AT-ST, Darth Vader's Tie Advanced from 75150, and 8099... can't wait to build this Nebulon B!!

Exactly the same here. Had total orders down to a reasonable number, but the last 8 orders were tiny - 1 or 2 lot purchases where the shipping cost as much as the items. Everything is ordered, if the BL sellers don't make any mistakes. They've started arriving already, but will take a couple of weeks for them all to arrive. I forgot to order parts for the scale MF at the same time, so I might put an order in for that tonight.

I'd prefer blue. What size will the sticker be?

Can the 18x (2817) dark bley plate be subbed for black? It is very hard to find in quantity.

Mortesv's UCS Nebulon-B Medical Frigate INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE
scythelt replied to Cjd223's topic in LEGO Star Wars
IMHO for the obvious time and effort that has gone into producing the manual, let alone the countless hours on the model, $50 is more than reasonable. That cost is nothing compared to bricklinking the entire thing anyway. To anybody criticising the cost... I presume you work for free (or a pittance) too...? -
This is absolutely ridiculously, amazing :wub: :wub:

I played the X-Wing and Tie Fighter games to death when I was a kid and so still have a soft spot for the Tie Defender... this looks great - far better than the official retired lego set.

I've got a bunch of these and they're great I love them. Highly recommended. The seller is very open to custom designs too, I've seen a few (non-star wars related) and they're amazing. Well worth the money IMHO, even if the postage is somewhat prohibitive. Unfortunately that's Australia Post's fault, not the seller...

Have bought the parts for this, just need to work out LDD so I can try and build it...

So tempted to build this. I have the UCS AT-AT, but my kids would love something that is a bit more playable. How solid is this design (would it survive kids)? Can anybody who has built this provide an idea of the cost/budget?
