    The laboratory of Maria Sklodowska-Curie

It's good idea to check how the official cars are built. I am also an entomologist. High five :-) It was some kind of "unnamed-but-intriguing-lego-lab-equipment", but from now it will be the mortar and pestle. Thanks.

Thanks. I am also working on little curie's right now and got stuck on mudguards. I wonder how many studs wide is your model?

    The laboratory of Maria Sklodowska-Curie

Hope you voted :-) My first idea was to make the floor as you suggest, but finally it occurred it is not looking good. So decided to make the whole floor tiled with some elements standing outside the outline of the building. I think it is a a matter of taste. I agree that the space in the middle is the something to fill. Maybe some furniture or equipment to play with? These are elements which were discovered by Maria Curie. Name "Polonium" is after her (and mine) homeland - "Poland". Thanks. Brown furniture gives this scent :-) I am happy that you recognized the equipment. These two are my favorite ones in this scene.

    The laboratory of Maria Sklodowska-Curie

Thanks. I always try to pay attention to details. Our surroundings are full of the little things which make the word "real". Thank you. Well, I do indeed. Biology studies and many hours spent if various labs.
  5. Hello I'd like to present to you my latest work showing famous Noble Prize winner - Maria SKłodowska Curie in her laboratory. This MOC is a part of bigger project by which in this year my community (Zbudujmy To) celebrates 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland. Vignettes and little dioramas are my favorite forms of LEGO creation and in this one I tried to depict the laboratory as well as possible with various furniture and lab equipment. Additionally, I submitted this project on LEGO Ideas, where you can find some more facts about this model: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/99146fd7-3d4a-497a-a050-ac1757e15e95 Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr Laboratory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie by crises_crs, on Flickr

    Geralt of Rivia

I am 100% sure that you know this character very well. More than 100 hours ago I started to play The Witcher 3 and I am still impressed how perfect this game is. Strongly inspired I depicted in my MOC the main character and the most recognizable elements: hidden chest, trophies and the sign post. It is not a big built but still a big tribute to honour the effort of developers and their creation. Have a look, write a comment if you wish (no spoilers, please) and I am going back to the wonderful world of monsters, swords and magic. Witcher by crises_crs, on Flickr

The longest sandwich in the Kingdom

Thanks for the comments. I really like to build unusual things and to try sometimes "odd" ideas. I'm happy it worked here. Taking the photos was not easy job, but RAWs did their job perfectly.
  8. It is great to build just for fun. You don't need to worry about realism, restrictions and rules. Just let your head and fingers do their job :-) Here is the effect of such creative week. First I made a horseshoe-shaped building. It looked a bit odd so I added a roof. It helped. Then a well and a tree appeared. But what about action? What is this building actually? First I thought about a forge but then an idea of bakery came to my mind. Let's make a bakery then and the longest sandwich in the whole Kingdom! And here it is: You can find more pics here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskBBqRCJ

[MOC] The Greenville brewery company, est. 1927.

This is just great. You recreated the feeling of this kind of places perfectly. Small windows at the top of the roof are great. Brick-built doors are also great detail.

    [MOC] "Tec Co." Robot Factory

Thank you for the comments. I did spent some time on research on the tools and machinery and I'm happy you like it. You're right. It is closer to steampunk than to the other sci-fi themes.

    [MOC] "Tec Co." Robot Factory

Today I'd like to show you one of my recent MOCs - the old style robot factory. I created this scene basing on the photographs of the 19th century factories and workshops with addition of my favourite elements - robots, steampunk and machinery. Tech Corporated by crises_crs, on Flickr In the middle a big humanoid robot is being assembled and on the side you can see workshop tools as table drill, lathe, saw and grinder. Hi. It's crises_crs here

Hi to all :-) Greetings from Poland. My name is Cris and it is about 10 years since I got back to the LEGO hobby. I am quite active in the LEGO community, but mainly in the Polish LUG named "Zbudujmy to". Now, It is the time to register on Eurobricks and share my works here. I admit that I was lured to register on Eurobricks by the Minifigures vignette contest. Those little MOCs are creations which I like the most. So here I am. You can see my MOCs in the Flickr gallery, here: https://www.flickr.c...4513@N08/Df9f3Y See you around.
