This forum seems very buggy, often repeating the same things over and over and over... Some news to cheer the disillusioned up; since the update, Supergirl won't change into Red Lantern, meaning she is just Superman without 'Freeze Breath'. As I'm in UK, I'm waiting for my preordered year 2 stuff to arrive from scAmazon and have only used her in year 1 content so far, so I don't know if it will be accessible in the new stuff. If not, I hope they fix it before wave 7 and not wait, like they did with some wave 1 issues last year...

UK Marceline Fun Pack update: she is available in November with the rest of wave 7.0, but only from Argos at the moment. So some good news for Adventure Time fans!!

There is an interview on eurogamer from July with Jimmy McLoughlin, game director. He says; "We re not planning on revisiting any of the season one IPs yet," he tells me. "This isn't to say that it's totally off the cards though as a few of them do interest us and could easily be revisited in the future. We have great relations between the IP holders and Lego so bringing new characters from older ranges shouldn't be an issue. "[That said], we will be using the TARDIS to get to new areas in season two. I don't think we've designed them yet as they are for later levels, but we're planning on doing at least two. And two DeLorean spots as well."

They are calling this wave 7.5 on Twitter and it looks like Marceline will be released from her TRU exclusive at the same time. Maybe no January wave this time round?
-
We may not be getting a wave 10. They reffered only to waves 6-9 on Twitter 6 days ago when promoting the new battle arenas. The new PS4 Supergirl SP is just the old SP with a little sticker on and a bagged up Supergirl chucked in. Even the poster that comes in the box is the same as year one. There is no reference to year 2 stuff at all!
-
Well they still need to promote their new product, regardless of what the public may or may not think. Currently, Amazon UK has the PS4 starter pack for £45 and the Supergirl exclusive SP is £80. It's a big cash difference for the privilege of owning her and any new customers would be much better off getting the first SP and spending the remainder on extra packs.

I agree, but she is currently a TRU exclusive in the US and not available for pre-order in any other country. Last year, Jay was the TRU US exclusive, but he was available everywhere else in wave 1. So they are treating Marceline a little differently. This time last year we knew who would be released and in what wave. This year is different as we only know wave 6 & 7 at the moment. So I'm confident that Marceline will become available for the rest of the world in a future wave that hasn't been announced yet.

As far as I can tell, Marceline is available only in the US and only in TRU.

The whole idea of LEGO City:Undercover is that Chase adopts different disguises to go 'Undercover' and investigate Rex Furys crime wave. If Chase can't adopt different disguises then he can't go 'Undercover', and LD would include LEGO City:Uniformed Cop, Just Doing His Job. To not include Chases disguise swapping would be like Ghostbusters without busting ghosts or a DeLorean that can't time travel...

From Gremlins 2; "We got something for you to look at. It's interesting. I found it downtown on my specimen scout. It's some sort of rodent, apparently. And it seems allergic to bright light." Allergic reactions in people can be fatal and as that's the only thing approximating an explanation for bright light aversion,it's quoted here. So, yes, I have seen Gremlins. Both of it.

The 3 rules for keeping Mogwai are; 1. Don't get it wet- this will cause the Mogwai to spawn other Mogwai 2. Don't feed it after midnight - this causes a Mogwai to transform into a Gremlin. 3. Keep away from bright lights- this hurts a Mogwai. (It is suggested that light aversion is an allergy.) So they only have to worry about getting a Mogwai wet as there is no time or food in LD really. Superman laser would do nothing but hurt Gizmo.

Because Netflix have to pay and TV show makers sell the rights for limited periods. Netflix either didn't renew for economic reasons or weren't given the chance, because rights were sold to rivals.

As I remember it, we knew what all the franchises were by about April! E3 showed us gameplay for the first time with bits of 'Follow the LEGO brick road','GLaD to see you' and 'mystery mansion mash up' being playable for press coverage. The interactive nature of the Toy Pad was also revealed. Doctor Who content and the Adventure Worlds were revealed at SDCC in July with the Oz AW being showcased. So they may do something similar this time round, with Sonic being the main focus at E3 (assuming the rumours are true!) and SDCC going for new DC or TTG (speculated!!) content.

The Angry Birds thing has been on Wikipedia for months, but there's never been anything said, other than that. But it does seem as safe bet to be included.

We know the database isn't fully updated because the last 3 announced fun packs aren't shown yet. So why would they start showing pieces for a new 2.0 SP that they haven't announced before packs that they have? Forgive my ignorance of this, but is it normal for LEGO to chuck new bits into sets without changing the set number? Wouldn't this require a huge recall of all the old sets to stop people ordering 71170 with Supergirl from getting 71170 without her in error? Wouldn't they just give it a new set number?
