  1. I got 60051 for my 5 year old son last Christmas, and he loved it. Great build that he managed virtually himself, and loved playing with it. I thought the freight trains were a bit more fiddly to build, and a fair bit more expensive. So I got the 60051, and would recommended it - especially buying some extra track with it, as the circle with it is fairly limited.

Is there a MegaBlocks Adult Following?

do you even get Children fans of MB? Think my kids were interested in them for about a 6 month spell in their development (admittedly progressed away from them quickly under "guidance" from me that Duplo was a better option ) Was delighted when I got to bundle them all up and dump them on the charity shop.
  3. just to confirm, (as AmperZand wasn't sure), Glasgow shop has Pick a Minifig stand. The only time I've been (2 months ago roughly), it seemed to have a few Halloween type things - my kids picked a couple of witches hats and skeleton heads. There was also a neat wee soldier's hat, which I had never seen in any sets. I don't think Pick a Model was there - there was a blank strip of empty holes, which I've read on other threads can indicate an out of stock pick a model. But, as I said, only time I've been there, so not sure how they are usually setup.

2016 City Sets - Rumours and Discussion

thanks for this post - I had completely forgotten I had this set, and came flooding back when you posted this - like you, I loved it, though looks so basic now. The wee yellow postbox was great.
