Post your Star Wars Uglies here!

My mini version of At-At... Not so lucky with design at this time But we can laugh together so here are some pics Better luck next time... I hope
  3. Really good argument and important point! I think I have 90-95 % of parts but they are in my other builds at this moment... I have nearly all needed panels and most of other parts but you are right, most people maybe don't have them and it could make a big hole in builders wallet...
  4. Personally I like this studless version of 8839 very much and I might build it in the near future myself, free instructions and not so many parts, designer M_longer made really excellent work with this set What do you think about this set thatrapidhobo?

[MOC] 75160 U-Wing Microfighter to a jet plane

Thanks! Redirecting to Town is good choice for this build
  6. Excellent work! I like very much the looks of it and functions are really nice indeed Especially I like that it's all mechanic with no electricity or motors And size of it, just perfect, not a little toy, well done

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

My recent Lego Star Wars purchases... In display shelf
  8. As I said in Best Technic Set discussion: Surprisingly I would say 42048 Race Kart! It's inexpensive, so good lookin' and it has nice gearbox and steering from steering wheel (no HoG). And Jims' inspired green-white colour scheme is just so cool Some pics of my both race karts: I just love this set

  10. Hello! I needed 2 pcs. of this white flat tile http://brickset.com/parts/243101 for one of my technic mods and so I bought Star Wars set 75160 aka U-Wing Microfighter http://brickset.com/sets/75160-1/U-wing and took them from there. Then I thought what i'm going to do with the rest of the set... I just started to put pieces together and soon it was ready, a jet plane I took some pictures of it: I I think it is quite nice b- or c-model as I used only parts from set 75160. Landing gear tires actually spin and you can roll it back and fort Hope you like it! PS. If this is wrong place for this post please moderators redirect it. I thought this is right place to this because I don't know where else I should send it.
  11. I just love all moc fighter jets and I'm looking forward to see end result, just make amazing one For the all red colour scheme, here is near all red one that I found from internet: Maybe something like that, without that ugly face symbol?
  12. Unfortunately all show and no go, those Claas Xerion tires are rubbin' all over the chassis and body... But looks are great
  13. Hi again! I made a quick moc (it took about 2 hours to make) using 42028 b-model tracks and V8 engine from 42039 as a base of this build. I also couldn't resist temptation to use two non lego parts, a turbocharger and a nos-bottle (they are originally key-rings) to decorate and finish this build. Build itself is a diy ripsaw with v8 engine. Let's take a look of pictures: Overall look: And other side: Driver handles it with two joysticks and exhaust pipe goes from turbo to "roof": Black nos line hose goes from nos bottle to engine: And nos bottle itself: Ridiculous huge turbo: Belly shot showing piston working V8 engine: It was very quick but fun build Those turbo and nos are not lego parts but I think they fit just fine for build like this aka not so serious work, just foolin' around
  14. Thank you very much! And no, not a C-model, there is parts from here and there and for example double count of curved panels http://brickset.com/parts/6097208 (16 vs 8) than in one 42039 set.
  15. Thanks! Yes, something like that was in my mind too when I was making this moc, but I wanted to do it somewhat unique and my own design
