    I live in Orange County, so that's about an hour or so north from Legoland. I'd to take a trip down there some time; I haven't been since I was little. I think I'm getting involved with LUGoLA. I'm trying to make the next meeting. And I'm not sure we've met, but I'm sure that'll change soon.

    Some of you may know me, some of you may not. My name is Alex, though on Flickr I go by Profound Whatever. In a word or two: I'm the lighting guy. If it's got atmospheric lighting or a cinematic quality, I either built it or in rare, joyous occasions inspired it. Don't know why I stayed away from Eurobricks all this time; I think I was under the impression it was No Americans Allowed. If so, I'll try to fake an Irish accent or something; this seems like a rockin' place. So: hello, how are you, and glad to be here.
