Been working on something Lego-related, but not quite Lego, for the past few weeks... 3D printed Ninjago props and weapons! I love the detailed designs as seen in the TV show, and wanted to replicate some physical props to use as interesting wall decorations and whatnot. Starting off, we have Cole's Hammer, as seen in Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu! I based the design off of these images (and the show): And came up with this: Next up was a Fang Blade, all the way back to Season 1! Based it off of this reference: And came up with this (some creative liberties taken to make the pattern stand out more): What do you think? I'll probably continue updating this topic, as I have a lot more in the pipeline (including every golden weapon, a Jade Blade, and maybe Chen's Staff) and if anyone has any suggestions for tips or ideas on what else to design and print, let me know! Seems like this is affecting Part Designer as well and is not fixed on either end yet; hopefully it will be rolled out soon. The beta Stud.io kinda works, but it's not a permanent fix.

It's Prince Kalmaar from Ninjago; he actually appears in quite a few sets and the head number is 6341956.

And yeah haha, those manta rays work great in my custom Aquazone display which is more fantasy styled, but definitely won’t pass as real animals haha

They also kept the Scuba Nya torso in my second order this time, which was really interesting, and only cancelled one part: the Merlopian torso, which is strange as I was able to order it the first time. That’s from one of the new City Stunz sets that just leaked via the Korean retailer catalogue - pretty cool how it’s already on BnP! The set it comes in also has a recolor of the dual molded angler fish, so hoping that also appears at some point!

Interesting, for whatever reason Scuba Nya seems to be the limiting factor here. Best of luck getting the grunts! Will call in tomorrow and see if they are. The red dragon wings are already live on the site, so that bodes very well!

That’s so strange - that’s even one of the ones that had a price associated with it automatically. Meanwhile, I called back today out of curiosity to try some other newer parts, and this time was told that the limiting factor was that some of them weren’t released in the US yet - so yeah, I think it really depends on what rep you get. Update - so I got an email saying there was a problem and a part was cancelled (which I was kinda expecting), but as it turns out, it seems to only have been Scuba Nya’s torso? It’s somewhat annoying given I bought the parts to the rest of the figure, but I’m honestly surprised everything else seemingly went through!

Good luck! So the Golden Legacy torsos from the first wave seem to be restricted as licensed, although you can purchase the golden legs shared between them, as well as the headgear, for whatever reason. It does appear like you can get some of the Gardens figures though!

The vast majority of them show up as “$0.00,” which I’m hoping doesn’t mean they’ll be cancelled later.. that includes the elephant head and body. Sadly seems like Ninjago gets another poor showing with Bricks and Pieces for this wave.. at least all the upper helmets are available, although they're not that useful without the lower counterparts, and even the massable villain parts aren't all for sale. Otherwise, so nice to see all the animals (besides the elephant, fingers crossed a call-in order will work)

I actually called in and tried to order some of the torsos, and was told that since Ninjago is a “licensed in-house IP,” the parts cannot be sold on Bricks and Pieces. Big shame if that’s the case for all future Ninjago waves, but I’m really hoping this is a fluke.

Super curious what will happen after placing an order filled with a ton of parts that either aren't on BnP, are licensed, or discontinued. I'm especially curious if they'll give explanations as to why certain parts cannot be sold, or elaborate further on the rules regarding this. Placing an order containing licensed parts, stuff that isn't on Bricks and Pieces now but was in the past/could have been phone ordered in the past, and some purely discontinued items from just a couple of years back. Will be eagerly anticipating a response, and while I don't expect to get every or even any of the parts in the order, I'm more interested in the reasoning they give for stuff like, say, the Monkie Kid armor that WAS there but has been removed, or the orange classic spacemen suits. EDIT: Well dang, it's not even letting me checkout - keeps on throwing an error message on checkout. How strange.

Huh - no Zemo or Agatha is honestly really surprising, but the rest of the list seems to make sense and is interesting. I'm sure Zemo will show up in a future set, and I can imagine they didn't include him because of how simple of a figure it would be - just a standard torso and legs plus a purple head - but Agatha is really baffling to not include, especially as we will almost certainly get another Rambeau figure for Captain Marvel 2 or even maybe Secret Wars. Unless something special is done with Spider-man Cap, that's probably going to be a pretty uninteresting figure molds-wise as it'll just be Spider-Man with a shield. Looking forward to Wanda in particular though, and excited to see how these turn out!

While calling in to backorder parts still is not allowed, I just successfully was able to order some of the Ninjago figure parts that aren't on BnP, namely the golden legs (6321312) to complete the Golden Wu from Ninjago City Gardens, plus the new silver movie hair for Zane (6320779)!

Agreed; three orders placed early January still haven’t arrived for me, despite some orders placed literally a few weeks ago arriving today. Customer service claims it’s on the way, but I have no idea how to even check. Whoah! Thanks for the tip; this is so unexpected but great!
