[MOC] Bay 327 - A Star Wars Museum

    Wow! Really cool!
  4. Sorry about that. I updated the screenshot for 42000.
  5. Awesome! Thanks bbqqq! I know what you mean, about not using hinge align, but I had to use it to connect the suspension/steering gears in the front. That's why only just one wheel touches the floor. Maybe I should just re-do the whole front? I also made some renderings using PovRay (although the actuators are still sticking out): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/XenoPhreak/StarWars/42000_-_finished.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/XenoPhreak/StarWars/42000_-_finished_-_side.png
  6. Thanks! This is really useful. I was changing the position of the pieces manually by editing the lxfml file. This is much easier. Although, I still can't figure it out. Even if I find the right angle, the piston and the actuator move together so I can't align them properly. Any ideas?
  7. Here's my latest official model: 42000 - Grand Prix Racer - Technic LXF File It's not perfect, there are still a few flaws that I haven't been able to fix. Maybe somebody here can help me? Errors: Couldn't fit the 2 linear actuators on the side (92693) into technic brick 32018 Couldn't connect the steering gear on the back (32293) to the ball snap (6628) The corrugated pipes 71986 are not flexible, replaced with flex rod (32199) Couldn't fit 2 red snap screws (32054) under the shock absorbers on the front. Replaced with 43093 bush. Thanks! I will update my model with the right color. Thanks! I've only known about LDD for a few weeks now, but I'm not new to 3D modeling/animation.
  8. Wow! I can't believe I'm not the only crazy one out there trying to build complete sets in LDD!! Here are my sets so far: 10143 - Death Star II - Star Wars (Ultimate Collector Series) LXF File Built using LDD v4.3.8 Divided in logical groups All panels closed (had to manually realign the hinges) Satellite dish in position Errors: Missing stickers Replaced 59426 with 87083 to be able to close the panels Removed one 44302 and one 44301 so I could fit the satellite dish Removed a couple 32016 that didn't fit into 4790 Added an extra 4032 at the top so I could fit 50990 Replaced 3710 and 3021 from one of the panels with 3623 so that I could fit the satellite dish on top 10240 - Red Five X-Wing Starfighter - Star Wars LXF FIle Built using LDD v4.3.8 Divided in logical groups Cockpit and wings in open position Errors: Missing stickers 4032 doesn't fit inside 11833; replaced with 60474. 11272 is the wrong color (couldn't find Pearl Dark Gray) fixed it! Thanks Stephan! I tried to follow the instructions closely, I hope I did good Great topic, Calabar!
