    10185 Green Grocer Review

After reading this thread I went ahead after a lot of hesitation for days and bought GC from S@H Denmark. Now I am a happy camper!

    Fun with Cheerleaders

Swedish girls are really, really pretty
  3. Personally I would not bother for all the hassle for a only $2 minifigure. But that's just me

    Which set should I buy?

The weird thing is that the link, links back to this very thread
  5. It horrifies me to hear all of your stories in the US. I don't think we have had such a problem here in Denmark. I see many minifigures in the leading supermarkets Føtex, Bilka and toy stores Hamleys in Magasin and BR. But I can only speak for Copenhagen. I have not seen small independent stores carry them.

    Best/lowest prices in Europe ?

Bilka does have some good discounts once in a while but yes it kinda hard finding cheaper prices in Denmark. If you do get to know some places especially in DK please do share your insight

    Dear Lego,

Well, I have checked all my 16 minifigures and I don't see an "degradation". They are actually really sturdy and shiny, no problems here. Maybe it is because I am in Denmark?

    Best LEGO Train Ever Made

Santa Fe is so beautiful, one day i will buy one hopefully if I can afford those ridiculous prices on ebay

    What did you buy today?

A lot of minifigures. Yesterday I got my last magician I needed to complete the full set of 16. Today I got 4 cheerleaders, 2 Dummy and 2 zombies
  12. If anyone is in Copenhagen, Denmark or is wanting to visit, I would recommend the large supermarket chain BILKA outside Copenhagen in Ishøj where I saw a 3 level tower 2m high of the minifigures filled with at least 3 boxes. BILKA does have great prices when there is a sale usually 25% off sometimes. It took me about 5 min to actually find some cheerleaders and it does seem some other people have gone through the stack. There was even presence of one torn up bag, but plentiful for anyone wanting a full set. I guess not a lot of people buy LEGO in Denmark as the market is very low. We don't have a official store only at the airport past security which you need a flight ticket for and also no LEGO Club. There are plenty of minifigures in supermarkets BILKA, Føtex and toy stores such as BR and Hamleys in Magasin in Copenhagen city. I guess that is the reason why there are so many minifigures but I think when series 2 comes out the residual series 1 might be relocated abroad
  13. I agree with you. I refuse to speculate. I'm buying myself a full set and maybe a couple of cheerleaders and zombies but that's it! I don't want to buy LEGO for profit. I'm a grown man and I believe people should buy what they like and enjoy the experience. If you want to speculate then do it at the stock market. Stop ruining LEGO by inflating the prices - remember this is originally a childrens toy. Yesterday I was at a supermarket checking the barcodes and this kid and his father comes around. the kid runs over to pick up a bag. I naturally departed to let them have some freedom and returned later. You should have seen the big smile on his face. The minifigures reminds me of the Super Ninja Turtles collector cards in the late 80s - we used to trade them the ones we had duplicates of and it was so fun. So if I was a kid right now and did not get my hands on these minifigures, I would really be upset. It's fine if you want genuinely a whole box but if you are buying to resell for a higher price on BL or ebay then I am against it as your diminishing the opportunity for others especially children to get one or two
