Doanhdv3 started following Rockmaninoff
-
Hi, anyone on this forum attending the Lego Inside Tour this year? I was lucky enough to be selected for the May 31 - June 2 tour and will be going later this month, very excited! The first one has recently wrapped up (May 3 - 5) -- curious if anyone was there or has seen trip reports/reviews. Cheers, and if you're going on my tour, would be happy to connect :) I plan to post updates if I can!

Thanks :) I went with yellow for part availability and because it was the second image result when I googled around. I might give it a go with a reddish brown or the like to see if all of the parts can be sourced.

Rockmaninoff started following MOC - Functional Lego Handcar
-
Hi everyone! This is a small and simple MOC of a traditional handcar. It closely mirrors the design animated here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hand_Car_Animation.gif It uses a Technic 24T gear and 12T bevel gear and has platforms for two people. Of course, traditional Lego minifigs will fly around but from what I've read, the NBA minifigs could potentially work with the springs in their legs removed. The LDD/LXF file has the traditional yellow car and a design for a holiday handcar as well: http://bricksafe.com/files/Rockmaninoff/20170110_handcar/20170110_handcar.lxf Let me know what you think!

Here's my review of the Panama Canal set: http://brickset.com/reviews/51223 There are also links to an LDD LXF file and more images on that page. It's a fun build, but overpriced in my opinion. -

Here is a link where you can purchase the Panama Canal set: https://www.panamastem.com/shop/2000451/set-del-canal-de-panama/ It comes to $300 including shipping to the US. I went ahead and ordered one and plan to publish a parts list and LDD file once I have it in my hands! I'm guessing the parts are very common so it should be pretty easy to assemble from your collection or BrickLink. -

Thank you, I have corrected my errors and the parts list is complete. If you scan the instructions I'll re-create the set in LDD so that we can all build it ourselves :) -

Hi Dario, thanks for posting the pictures. I'm attempting to put together just the part inventory in LDD so that I can potentially look at piecing together the set either from pictures or if instructions are ever released. Can you clarify on some of the things I'm looking for? The reflection on the parts list make the count hard to tell for some of the pieces: First parts page - left side Column 1 5x of the white 1x1 cheese slopes? 4x of the white 1x1 bricks with 1 stud? 4x of the white 1x1 Technic bricks? Column 2 6x of the white 1x2 tiles? 2x of the white 1x2 lattice slopes? First parts page - right side Column 1 4x yellow 1x1 tiles? 1x yellow 1x1 bricks? 2x yellow 1x2 plates? 16x yellow 1x1 plates with clips? Last column 6x of the top item (2x2 with wheel hubs)? 6x of the second item (angle plate 1x2/1x4)? Second parts page - left side Column 1 4th down -- what is that? 2x 6174917? (missing) How many black whips? 2x? Column 7 reddish brown plate 2x2 rocking? 6167644 Second parts page - right side Column 1 (all light bley?) 1x 1x4 bricks? 2x 2x4 plates? 3x 2x4 plates with holes? 8x 1x4 plates? Column 5 Warm gold blade 4L? or 3L? 2x 1x1 round plate in silver metallic? Or round plate with hole? Thanks, I know it's a lot of questions but your help is super appreciated! I'll be sure to upload the LXF when I'm done. -

Lego Certified Professional Sets
Rockmaninoff replied to Rockmaninoff's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I received an e-mail from the Chester Cathedral today taking orders for a new model of their Water of Life sculpture. I have to assume this is an LCP set but will wait for more details. £125 and only 500 available, I'm still deciding whether to order or not. http://imgur.com/a/Rygzp here's the box art -

I purchased the large Durham cathedral and have created the LXF file for it. There are no building errors and the colors are correct (agonizingly so, as I'm colorblind and had to enlist some help from friends). Here is the LXF file. I also bought the Exeter and Chester cathedrals, and will be creating the LDD files for those in due time. -
Hi everyone, I've created the LXF for the Jiaxing Factory based on the parts list on Brickset and the time-lapse video posted on YouTube by Dr. Brick. 4000023 Jiaxing Factory - LXF file - Theme: (Other) [Brickset] [BrickLink] Missing parts: Missing printed 1x8 tile Building errors: None!

LEGO Inside Tour 2016 Set - 4000022: LEGO Truck Show
Rockmaninoff replied to KamalMYafi's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I spent some time today recreating this set in LDD. This is based off of the time-lapse video posted and pictures in the Brickset review.4000022 Lego Truck Show - LXF file - Theme: (Other) [Brickset] Missing parts: There is a discrepancy in the parts count. The instructions pages add up to 810 parts, as does the time-lapse video, but reviews and the video claim the set has 816 parts. All of the minifigure torsos and heads are incorrect. Building errors: Missing stickers The front tires of the truck are not anchored to the rims Comments: If any of you own this set and can take a look at the LXF to check what's up with the parts count, please let me know. I can also supply an LXF with just the parts if you'd like to go through them as they appear in the instructions. -
If anyone would like it, here are a few LDD files that I've created for three of these sets: 4000006 Production Kladno Campus https://drive.google...aFNrM1h0UEhVdkU 4000011 Nyiregyhaza Factory https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing 4002015 Borkum Riffgrund 1 https://drive.google...dTZjZTZ6YnNVTjg I am working on a web portal to index all of these sets with the ultimate goal of providing LDD files and parts lists, so that we can all have access to these exclusive sets! If anyone would like to help out, I am in need of instructions (or a timelapse build video) for the following: 4000000 Cars 4000001 Moulding Machines (I have an unofficial LDD file) 4000009 HMV Production 4000010 Lego House 4000012 Piper Airplane (I have an unofficial LDD file) 4000013 A Lego Christmas Tale (I have an unofficial LDD file) 4000016 Billund Airport 4000020 HC Andersen's Clumsy Hans 4000023 Jiaxing Factory 2016

[KEY TOPIC] Official LEGO Sets made in LDD
Rockmaninoff replied to Calabar's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Calabar -- my mistake, I think you may want to go ahead and delete the post. Unfortunately there are no instructions for this set, along with the 4000011 Nyiregyhaza Factory set. I constructed them in LDD using time lapse videos and verified the parts using BrickLink. Is there a better place to post those, perhaps as just a top-level post in one of the appropriate sub-forums? And yes, I will PM just as soon as I get to my 10 messages (soon!).- 5035 replies

Hi folks, I'm Rockmaninoff and wanted to introduce myself (of course the real goal is to get to 10 posts to enable private messaging :P). I'm a Lego enthusiast living in the United States, and am mostly interested in: UCS Star Wars sets Modular buildings Architecture The Lego Movie Microfighters and Mighty Micros Lego Certified Professional sets Other promotional, exclusive, and limited edition sets My major projects at the moment are cataloging exclusive sets like the 4002015 Borkum Riffgrund, among others. In fact, here is the post I just made in the official LDD topic, I'll have to remove it as I don't have official instructions for the set. My ultimate goal is to host a website with information on the exclusive sets, and Lego Certified Professional sets, with the purpose of making the instructions and parts lists available to everyone so that they're not as limited in availability. 4002015 Borkum Riffgrund 1 - LXF file Image [Brickset] [BrickLink] Missing parts: Dark Bluish Gray 18654 (9x) is not in LDD (4x on base, 4x on 3rd level, 1x on rear "hand of god") Building errors: One of the two yellow crane beams 59807 can't line up properly but is in the LXF file Comments: Thanks to YouTube user for the timelapse build video. I know this is an "exclusive" set but I hope it fits in this topic.Cheers!
