    LOTR & The Hobbit 2012

I've been trying to put together a list of upcoming games in the Lego Video Game series and I have found zero evidence of a Lego Hobbit video game, unfortunately. The LA Times interview spoke of many different games. The Hobbit video game is an adaption of the film(s), complete with the likenesses of the actors and completely unrelated to Lego and the developer Traveller's Tales. As far as toys go, the licensing arrangements have already been made. According to this article a company called The Bridge Direct will be producing the toys for the films. No Lego, no Mega Brands, no Hasbro.
  2. 10212 in hi res, plus details: http://gizmodo.com/5565333/the-new-gigantic-lego-imperial-shuttle $260 in September 28 inches tall and 22 inches wide (71 by 57 cm). Bit smaller than I'd hoped, but an okay price.

    Table for Millenium Falcon

This is a great idea and an even better use of space (again, rectangular would have been more aesthetically pleasing). Plus, it minimizes dust! Any setup that minimizes dust is a huge plus in my book.

Magic in Lego Kingdoms; what role does it play?

I could see forestmen making a comeback in some form or another. I think these latest sets can be progressed upon in a type of "story." Perhaps, over the next year or so, the red "good" knights, slowly defeat the green "bad" knights, and the green knights retreat into the forest and are forced to rely on guerrilla tactics to combat their oppressors, and thus become the forestmen. Or maybe I'm thinking to much into this. But after seeing the various Easter eggs and tidbits from other space themes in the recent Space Police, I can't help but wonder were these themes can go and how they can evolve.

    City 2010

I like these green cans Lego has been introducing into the City sets. Its a subtle way to promote recycling, presumably because the green cans are supposed to hold recyclables as opposed to the gray cans which are used for just trash. By the way, weren't there some "eco-friendly" theme or set concepts floating around a while back? I always wondered what happened with those.

    Hi, I'm Xiaan!

Long time listener, first time caller... I decided to join up, well, because I'm into Lego, yet don't seem to belong to any Lego communities. So, I figure, hey, why not join up finally. I mean I've only been into Lego for most of my life. I like a lot of the themes, Castle, Town, Star Wars, etc. Western was probably my favorite, I would go broke if Lego reintroduced the theme. Currently, I mostly collect Star Wars, which I've been doing since day one, though lately, I've skipped a majority of the Clone Wars stuff. I'm in the process of photographing my own creations to share with who ever will look at them. I know I sure enjoy looking at the creations this community puts together. I believe I still have some Battlestar Galactica and Stargate MOCs on Brickshelf, but those are fairly old now and I've since update them (but not the pictures). Anyway, hi again!
  7. In front of a supermart, a little boy waits by the coin-operated space ship. It's a seat were only a real spaceman can sit. A shopper gazes through the store window. "Hmph, kids and their Nintendos and their space ships. In my day, I walked into space, up hill both ways and in the snow!" "If only I had a quarter."
