maydayartist Posted August 5, 2014 [pid][/pid] 256C Hi there, after a busy half year with many new creations done as an employee of a LCP I start build some own mocs. In addition, I have joined a group of autors to publish a construction book about knights realm. The publishing date will be in september and for more information I will start a new topic if it is done. And for this we need some background material to present some bigger and some little special mocs. One of this little mocs is a medieval crane. He should be placed in a harbor scene with some houses, figures and a ship. The ship was easily done - my Revenge. For the rest I build some buildings and a heavy time required cobblestones street in one week. The result was better than expected, so I decided to present it here as well. The final picture will be highres and professional photoshoped. My pictures are done after that and photoshoped too. But more quick & dirty enjoy The next two pictures show the photoshoot scene. The final shot for the book will only show a little bit of this but we need the whole build to find the perfect shot. Phil

gads Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) What a gorgeous scene! The building techniques seems simple but the end result is brilliant! I'll definitely write a post about it at HistoryBricks. Edited August 7, 2014 by gads

Gary The Procrastinator Posted August 7, 2014 I can't possibly say enough good things about this outstanding creation. I have wanted to do something like this for a while, but anything I would do is blown away by this work. I especially love the realistic wench and the variety of architecture, and the ship at the end of the photos is phenomenal. Thank you!
ummester Posted August 8, 2014 Really well done - a beautiful port for the Revenge to dock.

I totally get building a giant MOC around this item! I will look forward to the book as well. Amazing build! I love those black/red soldiers! Mister Phes Posted August 12, 2014 after a busy half year with many new creations done as an employee of a LCP I start build some own mocs. A colonial harbour! Just what our Merchants and Haven Guard need! Got any experience building LEGO sets? My pictures are done after that and photoshoped too. But more quick & dirty I like how you've gone to the extra effort of removing the background and inserting something far more interesting. The Imperial Armada also has a very good presence in their need uniforms so that is very pleasing to see.
