Captain Braunsfeld Posted June 7, 2014 [pid][/pid] 251C Ahoy, I was interested in building a harbour scene using a good old raised baseplate. Unfortunately you cannot see a lot of the harbour but for some bits of water in the middle, but I am quite happy with the way the buildings have turned out: The whole set is modular (which I have forgotten to prove by taking the appropriate pictures ). At the back side I have allowed for a cross-section approach to the buildings to allow for access and playability: Ok - Sebeus I : this was not the harbour scene I am working on. And the next post should be a ship again.
ManInATopHat Posted June 7, 2014 Very cool! Kind go reminds me of Amsterdam or Venice with the little canal. Great work!
emilstorm Posted June 7, 2014 Reaaly nice, I like a little bit of "everyday life" Those tiny little alleys are perfect, and the houses are really nicely done. The leg windows are a nice touch.
dr_spock Posted June 7, 2014 Nice work. Good use of the raised base plate. Do you have a shot from above of the center of the town?
Captain Braunsfeld Posted June 8, 2014 Do you have a shot from above of the center of the town? Yes, I have: Maybe I should do a film... The fotos might be more confusing than helpful. The whole set is very packed.
Kolonialbeamter Posted June 8, 2014 That's real pretty. So much atmosphere on such a small surface (raised base plates not dead!). Like your roof work and use of colors a lot. Looks playful Good work! Regards
Capt. Stabbin Posted June 10, 2014 This is very nice! Lots of details packed into such a small space. I love your creations, they all have a classic pirates feel to them. And they are easy blogging material! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
Admiral Goblet Posted June 10, 2014 Spectacular! Could use some imperial armada though ^.^
Loves Houses Posted June 11, 2014 I do love the river.
Sebeus I Posted June 13, 2014 I love it, great use of that baseplate, orient expedition, right? I think you managed to get much on a relatively small space, a busy atmosphere. I'm looking forward to that harbor scene
Captain Golden Hook Posted June 13, 2014 Nice Moc, cool that you made it modular! It would be cool if you added a dock, but obviously if the dock were to be big enough to fit a big ship it would dwarf the town...
