Front Suspension

I am on the robotics team for my school, and we went on a field trip to a STEM program about Indycars. They gave us free tickets to the Grand Prix of Baltimore, and they were great seats. I decided to make a model of one of the cars after seeing the race, so does anyone have any tips on making a realistic but strong suspension?

No clue, but I guess the suspension on the 42000 Grand Prix Racer would be similar?

I'm pretty sure the wishbone suspension arm pieces would be perfect. Depending on how large your model is, of course.

the 8880 is also good. Strong and with the right kind of tyres.

For F1 cars though? I don't think it would be realistic.

But the f1 suspension of the 8880-b model works also.

Lego actually does a pretty good job recreating the suspension used on these types of cars

Yeah, but I 'm also looking for realistic geometry. This is a good place to start though.

Did you look for nicjasnos' "lpepower episode" on youtube? That may give you some ideas,
