Candia Posted June 10, 2013 Hello. Between two epic battles, Thor likes to relax in his second home. So I present you his hut. I hope you like it. Residence Thor 02 par Candia_30, sur Flickr Residence Thor 01 par Candia_30, sur Flickr

soccerkid6 Posted June 10, 2013 Neat build, I like the woodwork, especially the use of barrels and crates The gold accents look great as well
badboytje88 Posted June 10, 2013 Great use of crates and barrels!
CptPJs Posted June 10, 2013 Clever use of the barrels! I never even realised you could stack them... time to go experiment.
Farseer Petriel Posted June 10, 2013 Nice hut. Reminds me of real vikings and Norse myths. And Thor's dog - it's so cute. Additionaly he needs two goats to carry his chariot. And the horned helmet... Make a move, reindeer games!
TheLegoDr Posted June 10, 2013 I like the front entryway the most. The SNOT-work works well there. The brown and gold accents work well together too. I'd expect a much more lavish hut for the future king of Asgard. Keep up the good work!
brodey1 Posted June 11, 2013 Great part uses all around Reminds me of something from Edoras.
Blakstone Posted June 11, 2013 Great Viking architecture and hence it matches Edoras as well. My favorite portion is the golden horse helms to make the carved horse heads. I have struggled to find a way to do that. Excellent idea and a wonderful build overall.
odidoma Posted June 11, 2013 Great build and a lot of nice details in it, i really like it, i hope a get the chance to copy some of it!
Candia Posted June 11, 2013 Effectly my inspirations are Edoras, but also WhiteRun (video game Skyrim). This le LDD version (I have change some many things when i realized in real bricks but the aim is similar). You will find the .xlf file to my brickself gallery (when public). http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=529654

Legonardo Posted June 11, 2013 nice MOC! you have the ability to build in a medieval setting for sure! to top this I would add some landscaping to it. you should consider joining the MOCers paradi...Guilds of Historica!
