Karcsi's city: Steinstadt

In 2008 I decided, I build a large city scene. First of all, I had bought the Café Corner, after the Green Grocer and the Fire Brigade. These three buildings gave together a nice city corner, but it wasn't enough. I started to build some MOC: the construction area, the Toy'R'Us shop and the hotel. Now my city, Steinstadt is 80% complete, but this is only the first block! I plan a second block and an enormous church too.

Edit:

Okay, now let's beginning with my smaller MOC's. So, as a told you, there will be a Toy'R'Us store in my city. So, in 2011 I built a LEGO truck, what will be parking before the store. Yes, I know, LEGO created a LEGO truck yet, but I think, it's too large and American style. So, here is my re-creation, a smaller and more European LEGO van with a lift on the bottom.

It has the same design as the CITY trucks.

This truck is supportable in LEGO Cuusoo too! http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/22843

Not bad little truck you have there 'Karcsi', though I would have a half stud gap between the cab and the freight box ?

Keep up the good work and Brick On Truck On !

Thank you for your opinion! In real, there is a narrow gap between the car and the box, but I think, it's sometimes smaller than a half stud. And, I want to build stable and playable creations everytime. You can play with this van harder, I'm sure, because the car is connecting with 30 studs to the box. :-)

Hello Karcsi and welcom to this forum. I like the truck. You are right about the official Lego truck being too American, but that is also true for the FireBrigade. After seeing this first Moc, i am very interested in the rest of your town and will be following this tread closely. Brick on Karsci

Okay, now let's see an other MOC! Thank you for the nice words and I hope you'll find the next creation as good as the truck. So, we have a truck but it's a hard work to bring all of the stuffs in the box. Exspecially the heavy pallets full with LEGO sets! :) Here is a small forklift:

The forklifts what are in the official LEGO sets, well, they are too large. In the CITY 7733 the forklift is as wide as the truck! Well, my forklift is absolutely minifig scaled.

It is just 4 studs wide.

You can support it in a Cuusoo project too: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/22649

Oh, and where are the wheels from back? No, it's not like Luigi in the Cars sets. They are just hidden.

Well, I see this forklift isn't interesting. Don't worry. :)

Now I want to show you a very special MOC. It's really just a project, you can view it just in Cuusoo. In my opinion, this figure could be good stuff for the builders who create old towns and villages. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/23584

So, there was a voting in our facebook page: Which Hungarian characters would be interesting as a LEGO minifigure. One of the most popular option was the minifigure in kalocsai folkwear.

The Swamp creature, unofficial extended version. I imagine, that it is somewhere in the suburb. Yes, if it's so, it could be bigger and I shoul build some tree, etc. But I don't build suburb, this is just a sample. :)

Sorry for the bad pictures (see the colours). I'll do something with the light.

It's a shame that you did not get more recognition. Your truck and your forklift are both very great!

If you take a look at Karcsi's profile, you will see, he has not been active on EB for more than a year and a half. And the last time he wrote in this thread was in 2012. Do not expect a response, at least for a while. Please do consider this, before reactivating threads again, even though they can be very interesting (also for others :classic: ).

He has got a link to a homepage, though, try to check it out. Maybe you can find some contact information there.
