"Okay, I'll go for the light grey rat!" Eric said and took out Godricsleif. The sword hummed violently for some blood, even though it was only that of vermin. It's could touch would surely damage that rat.

Eric attacks the Light Grey Rat from the Front Row, using Godricsleif.

The party readies to attack the mighty foes consisting of starved wet rats and a black snake. The Big Rat surprises Tesni by lunging at her and giving her a scratch for 10 damage, though she manages to counter the attack and do 14 damage to the creature. Eric relies on his quickness to get take out the Light Grey Rat with one strike of Godricsleif, sending the poor creature's body accross the slimy ground and into the darkness. Namyrra shoots a stream of ice out at Sewer Snake obliterating it into a fine mist of crystalized snake dust. Maurice swings at the Brown Rat but mis-judges the distance due to the darkness and misses. The Dark Grey Rat take the opportunity to attack the nearest enemy and manages to sink it's dirty teath into Tesni's ankle, doing 5 damage and poisoning the warrior.

Eric grinned as his greatsword took the critter's life in one hit. He readied his weapon for another strike.

Eric will attack the Dark Grey Rat from the front row.

The second round begins with Tesni splattering the Big Rat into rat sauce. Eric is up next, but the clever rat manages to duck under his swing and give him a nasty Foul Bite for 10 damage and poison. Namyrra works up another ice spell but the Brown Rat scratches her for 5 points of damage, breaking her concentration. Seeing his comrades (and Eric) in pain, Maurice manages a Miracle and heals all allies to full health.

Eric takes one damage each from the poisoning.

Maurice vs. Brown Rat - Critical Hit

The Dark Grey Rat attaks Tesni but she swipes it away with her sword, nearly killing it. The Brown Rat digs its rotten teeth into Eric again as it uses him as a springboard to jump onto Namyrra and give her a Foul Bite, but since Eric was already poisoned it has no extra effect on him. Maurice doesn't take kindly to this action and manages to hit the rat square on the head with his mace.

Eric and Namyrra take one damage each from the poisoning.

With the battle over and the loot dealt with, Tesni reaches into her pack to pull out the Timekeeper. Just as she reaches for it she hears a "Bing Bong Bing Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding" and then silence. When she looks at the face of the tablet she sees the numbers 07:00 appear.

Maurice heads down the long hallway with the torch, just as it looks like a dead end he sees two new paths that branch off in different directions. One heads North and one heads East.

"Alright then, I'll take the venom, Cleric Ratibor, you can have the bone as you carry the important items I am sure something to distract an attack could come in handy. I will hold onto this coin and add it to our total when we devide it or if we get more odd drops like this."

Tesni looked around at the two tunnesl

"I can see markings on the wall, we'll follow that one."

The party heads to the wall but the symbol is not the same as the previous symbol. Maurice shines the torch on it to get a better view.

"Not sure, but the wall behind it looked sufficiently different from the wall on the sides that I wanted to see if throwing a spell at it could have an effect. Probably just silly of me though. :wink:"

The spell smashes into the wall, sending chunks of damp brick everywhere. When the air finally clears there is enough damage to the wall that the symbol is destroyed. The wall doesn't seem to be in any danger of collapse though and the party continues to the left.

Only a few short steps and they hit a wall, there is another path to the left and Maurice shines the torch down it to see that it ends abruptly. The light seems to bounce around off the walls in this tight room, and there is a dusty crate at the end of the hall with a lid on it.
